To answer a question from three pages ago, Solnes, Babylon 5 is an awesome show. I have all of it on DVD. It's my favorite. You really need to watch all the episodes in order though. I had some trouble with that the first time I saw it because the network kept moving its time slot and trying to bury it at weird times like 3 am on Saturdays. Ivanova rocks. She gets most of the best quotes. :)
+1, you definately must watch it from episode one if you want to have any idea what is going on. Andromeda is another great series, although it kinda tapered off in the last season.

I still need to see the last 30 minutes of the series finale. I tried to record it when it aired, but my videotape died on me....most frustrating ;)
And yes - "Ivanova is God, Ivanova is always right." :D
She's really fun in person too - I got to meet her, Mira Furlan and Jason Carter several years ago at DragonCon before B5 went off the air.
Good times.... ;)

I hate what happened to Andromeda. Getting rid of Gordon Michael Woolvitt (sp?) was the kiss of death for that show. Ah well...

Yeah, the show just wasn't as fun after that. I sort of lost interest in it. Eventually I ended up seeing all of it, but it never really got that spark back.

The problem was that Gordon's leaving coincided with the end of Gene's notes, so really they lost to geniuses at that time. In fact, rumor has it that Andromeda was based on Gene's first draft for Star Trek: TNG.

Well we are only in the second round of combat and only one member of our party isn't down half their hit points at this point. We are also outnumbered, and that is after I nuked about five opponents with a Fireball.

No it should be me. I havn't had a good night sleep in days.
Yeah its been two days since I slept well. The night beofre last I was up till almost4 am with hunny and last night I just couldn't sleep. Add to that that we are sleeping in the living room b/c I wanna be close to him and he is in the recliner so he can stay elevated so he doesn'tcough so much. :\
The futon is so hard. My back hurts and I feel the 5 hours I got wasn't at all any good. But kids are up and Hunny has gotten them all week. In my defense...he was up anyways.Solnes |

I think our DM read on the boards where someone sad character death was impossble in 4E, even if you try to kill your character, and she is out to prove them wrong. :/ ortunately it's pbp, so have plenty of time to deal with panic attacks. Th good news is that minion rules mans you can nuke five guys with one fireball.
