That's OK, my salary comes from the federal government, which gets it from tax dollars. Then I get income taxed, so some of the money goes right back to the feds. It makes my head hurt if I think about it too much.

Not to worry my decomposing friend, I quit trying to make sense of life about the time the Great Old Ones started hiding in my sub-conscience. Now nothing makes sense to me.

How long did it take to get the grey matter off the walls? I have always wanted to know...does that stain the carpet?!

Well, I finally managed to clean up the last of the great toothpaste debacle. And given the kid a lecture on paying attention to what he is doing when he uses the toilet. Yuck!

And the new bathroom cleaner didn't give me asthma troubles. Two bathrooms thoroughly scrubbed and still no wheezing. Hurrah! :)

Even better I'm almost done cleaning the house. The last time this place was clean was....June? or was it May?

Sounds like a win to me. :)

And may or june of what year? ours was 2003. ;P

Hmm...Solnes,
[Moorluckian spoilers follow]

Spoiler:

1. Everyone dress like Drow day?
2. His favorite pizza served as breakfast in bed
3. Belgian ale with every meal? (Or Ommegang, much cheaper on sale.) If you forgo pizza at breakfast, an oatmeal stout may go better.
4. Kids go to grandparents except for special guest appearance at rated G cake event. G-string cake event celebrated separately.
5. All conversation to Moorluck must be sung to him.
6. Clean the house in French maid outfit.
7. Wouldn't Moorluck really want a bag of polyhedral hard candy dice? Of course he would, but first, the Jade and I have to find enough investors. (See OD Podcast thread.)

That's all I got right now.

EDIT: This was in an open tab, and somehow didn't get posted much earlier today.

LOL. :) Well we only moved in last July, so it actually was this year, Crazy I know. :)

I should add that some of my ideas cost money, but hey, I poked my brain and that list came out. Maybe something is helpful, or at least will spur other ideas.

Lynora, I don't know what's going on with toilet and toothpaste, but it sure doesn't sound pleasant. Are they/he old enough to help in the clean-up? Ugh.

My bro-in-law called me today, and interrupted the call with a twitter from Karl Rove, which he then had to read to me. After surviving 8 years of Bush, ain't nothin' gonna make me grumpy. Nope, nothing.

Of course, some days, my brain falling out would be the least of my surprises...

Yay for a non-asthma causing cleanser!

Do you have a problem with dust? When we cleaned up my son's room this weekend, I was knocked out for a day from allergies. I can only imagine what it would have done to someone who gets asthma.

Rofl. :) I had to scrub out the kid's bathroom today. And he's six, so no, not old enough to help, alas. At least the toothpaste and the other...residue (shudder) were in different parts of the bathroom.

My son has to clean up after himself. It's curbing most of his "misses", but not all. >-\

I'm feeling like I shouldn't threadjack others' threads. But, when I see a thread titled "Discussing Meta-Plot with Mr.Fish," I just have to post somewhere. How Beatlian is that? It's like "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite."

Yeah, dust is bad. I don't dust. Ever. It drives my husband nuts, but not nuts enough to actually dust. :P (In actual fact, I do dust once a year. It makes me really sick so I usually like to time it right around November when my other allergy triggers are low. Since he has promised to help more around the house I'm hoping to pawn that task off this year. But I doubt I'll be that lucky.)

What really knocks me out and gives me trouble is bleach based cleansers. Ammonia based ones aren't so great either. But I found this new 'green' cleaner that's not noxious at all, so that's good.

It took me a long time to find that thread.

How about if we discuss meta-plot for the benefit of Mr. Mairkurion?

lynora, try the Simply Green line of cleaning products, they work really well and are very sensitive. I have allergic reactions to most cleaning agents and bleach in particular.... I still wish I had told Solnes that before she she washed my undies in bleach that first time. ;P

Oh, good golly! I bet that was painful.

Sure, I can be benefitted.

BTW, Lynora, just my own 2 coppers, but I think they are old enough to help clean up there own messes at that age. Just a thought from an old grumpy dad, whose daughter still loves him and didn't turn out too badly.

(I know there are people on this board who remember the two-year-old with the detergent story, but they may never see this thread...though both of the other parties involved post here from time-to-time.)

Spoiler:
Ewan McGregor or Hugh Jackman

Spoiler:
I don't have a french maid costume..but I do have a nurse and school girl...wonder if one of those would work? He doesn't drink so the alcohol based ones are out. Instead of pizza in bed I may go with cheese burgers..they are his fave..and I have already called my mom, and if she is off she will take the kids for a couple of hours and bake him a carrot cake...one of his faves! ;)

Thanks! :)
