Pathfinder RPG Golgari-like character. Any ideas?

General Discussion (Prerelease)

I'll like to build a human character using the Beta rules that captures the feeling of the Golgari Guild (druid-like spellcasters that also practice necromancy because they use the cycle of life-death to their advantage).

Two spells that he should have (flavor-wise) are Entangle and Animate Dead. No PrC, just the core clases.

First I thought of a multiclass druid 10/sorcerer(undead bloodline)10 (Nature Bond, Wild Shape, Grasp of the Dead).

Next is a cleric 20 with the plant and death domains.
(Entangle, Call Undead, healing)

Any sugestions? Which would make a better character? Or are there better options?

I also considered a sorcerer (fey bloodline) for the Entangle spell, but I think the bloodline powers don´t go with the concept.

I guess the easiest way is to multiclass. Necromancers or Sorcerers with the right bloodline and druids.

I guess the cleric idea with the right domains can work, too.

Beyond that, you could also go druid, forsake an animal companion and get the death domain.

Finally, you could modify one of the classes to make it work. This would involve changing spell lists most likely. But that can be a bit extra work.

A Druid/Necromancer mystic theurge would fit the bill.

I'd just create a Golgari spell-list, swap in a few flavorful class abilities on the Druid, and call it a day.

What Ross or cappa said.

For spell list you could take off stabilize and the cure wound spells (leave goodberry) in exchange for touch of fatigue, spectral hand, and animate dead on up.
