Hey lin i checked somos and harden's Main aliases harden's hasnt been active but Somos' has posted vary recently in different threads, Should we inquire if he would like to keep posting? oh And BUMP!
Yes, this would probably be a good time for a roll call. I know Anya/Elya are needing to be NPC'd for a bit. I was planning to send them back to headquarters with whatever prisoners y'all manage to arrest here. Anyone else who has dropped out can likewise be sent off and conveniently disappear. And maybe, just maybe, we might get into something more of a regular posting rhythm here. :)

Took a look around at Fray (who plays somos) and his reecent posts are mostly in PAizocon threads looks like He'll be getting ready, probably the reason for his absence of posts
Good call. I'm going to leave roll call open until after Paizocon then. And we'll get started again on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest.

After a good deal of trouble, the group manages to get the thugs, the harlot, and the gnome subdued and cuffed. They commandeer a wheelbarrow, and more than half the group escorts the prisoners back. Yarden, Savrial, and Father Timmis are left to try to deal with whatever else goes wrong here. Timmis manages to help some of the residents put out the fires the gnome was trying to set before any serious structural damage occurs.
As the group stands and looks around for any more trouble they hear crashing and screaming from inside one of the buildings.

Yarden Talazac |

Yarden surveys the room and then strides across it behind Timmis, pushing girls to the side if they get in her way. Once at the top of the stairs she glances at the leg, not really caring either way about its former owner, before striding off to find the source of the disturbance.

Father Timmis |

Seeing the remains of the poor girl, Father Timmis goes pale and grips his mace tightly. The elderly priest follows Yarden and Liandra towards the sounds of the disturbance, clearly worried at the viciousness of the attack.
"What would cause such unnecessary violence? Such savagery?" murmurs Timmis sadly. "It's unimaginable."

Yarden snorts loudly at the old priest's assertation and turns to regard him. "Unimaginable in your world maybe old man. Welcome to my world." She smiles, revealing the hint of fangs and a gleam of red in her eyes. "If you're too queasy then you can guard the foyer and see to the girls."
She nods at Liandra and Savrial. "Let's find the beast that did this and show him the meaning of suffering." With that, she stalks off down the hall towards the commotion ahead.

You found the thread! Woot! I've been looking for it for two weeks now. I even looked in the archives. I probably scrolled right past it a couple dozen times without realizing it. Definitely a critical failure on that Perception check. :)
Within the room the group finds a minotaur in the throes of a drug-induced rage rending another corpse limb from limb. Blood and body parts are scattered throughout the room. You would guess he's murdered three women so far. He looks up as you enter, eyes red with bloodlust.

Yarden Talazac |

Yarden's eyes narrow as she sees the beast before her. She raises her claws in front of herself and gives the beast a hiss through bared fangs, making her eyes glow with fire and hoping beyond hope that it might back down or run from them before it thinks she would make a nice addition to it's collection of body parts.

So should this just get archived?
Pretty much. I was doing fine on time during the school year, but summer really blindsided me. I wasn't prepared for the onslaught of activities. And the yardwork. And the seemingly endless family crises. I sincerely apologize for not calling it earlier. There's just no excuse for leaving you guys hanging like that. It was rude and I really am sorry.

I'm sad to see it end, but I thought it was a foregone conclusion. I haven't seen you on the Boards much lately (or Face Book for that matter) and figured life got in the way.
Hope you can get back to the Boards more regularly soon. :)
