Sips at her margarita

Good to see you're feeling better Malice Jack. Although that is one wicked looking scar.

If nobody has any better ideas I'm going to go ask Sunny Godhead if he can help us with that Spark of Life thing.

Not hearing any objections or alternate suggestions, the priestess wings away to seek a way to weaken the dracolich.

Waves at Lynora-Jill

Good luck Lynora! Tell Sunny I miss the volleyball games!

Malice Jack wrote:

ACME!

Mojito me! Chop chop!

Hmmm - my post last post still hasn't shown up, even after the drive home from work. Ah well...

Takes Malice Jack's hand and gives it a good honest shake

"Well met!"

And since I don't know whether or not that post will show up again...

"Acme - that's the best news I've heard this afternoon! I'll take a glass of elverquist - chilled, if you please. Then a shot of some aged dwarven stout. You haven't got any roasted scythetail rump, have you?"

The Dalesman will also muse (to himself only) on how captivating Alaina can make simple homespun look. Dangerous indeed :)

I have my real-life gaming group tonight, so I won't be online. Have fun, and try not to kill the dracolich without me :)

Hey they showed up! YAY!

*BEEP*

One chilled glass of elverquist, a shot of Dwarvish stout and roast scythetail coming up sir! I know we have a few bottles of elverquist from the Nerelin Vineyards in the cellar, and the Dwarvish stouts run the gamut from Clatspur Red to Tharkadian Ebony Triple Boch. Which would you prefer sir?

Zips off to prepare the Dalesman's order once his prefrence is given.

Good luck! I think tonight we'll just strategerize. I don't feel like doing the do-or-die until we can agree to get everyone running a character on at the right time ...Maybe this weekend?

Excuse me, Man of the Dale. Perhaps you could tell me of your visits to the Deepwood elves? Their spinnings match those of your cloak. Was it there that you learned of the ways to defeat dracoliches?

Planning to overwhelm the Boards again?

Destruction. We could use some good old fashioned destruction.

For the dracolich of course.

Hey Alaina, did I ever tell you how to win a Dark & Stormy Knight™ t-shirt? Or the Ace badge?

"I'll try anything once - twice if I like it! Let's go with the Nerelin and the Triple Boch please. Many thanks!"

Sounds good. Friday and Saturday are both good for me, but I'm usually pretty booked on Sunday. I'd like to get through the big plot twists this weekend since I'm on vacation next week and won't be able to post as often.

Alaina returns from the pool cabana, now dressed in a suede brown mini and pale green silk shirt with a crisscross of straps on the back. The clack of three-inch sling pumps beat out a tempo as she approaches. Her new vine tattoo is visible through the crisscrossing silk strings. Her hair is mussed, but she seems to have reined it in somewhat.

Dark&Stormy Knight? What's that?

The wasp sighs.
Look, Lynora and I can't hope to defeat the Tsar, let alone Candle Lighter. Neither of us really has any power other than being champions. Kobold Cleaver...he was powerful. He had strength that didn't just stem from artifacts or being chosen or anything. But he had centuries. We have maybe a few days before Candle Lighter either attacks us or does something really, really bad. The Bard can beat the Tsar, with help, but Candle Lighter? At his current state, he equals KC!
"We need something, so that we can help. And the only person I know who can help us is stuck with an evil goddess. If KC mentioned the book to Lynora, it must be because it holds the power to contact him or get in Lynora's mind or something.
"We need the book."

*Signals Acme* We need some fresh Dark & Stormys here if you please. And do you have one of our t-shirts with you? Thank you.

*Turning to Alaina*

Well, Panama Jack makes about the best Dark & Stormy you can find, but Acme comes pretty close. If you can drink 3 in an hour you can become a Dark & Stormy Knight™, and get this great t-shirt. Finish 5 in an hour and you get the Ace badge for your shoulder.

Gotta warn you, they have a pretty good kick.

Grins wickedly

I have drunk my way from Celestia to Carceri in a single weekend, bub. Bring it!

Chugs the first D&S Acme gives her and slams the glass on the bar.

One.

Oh dear...

Emperor7 wrote:

Devlyn's face falls a bit at Emperor7's questions. He fingers the dark clothing he wears as he speaks.

"This mantle was actually a gift from one of my old friends, an elven wizardess and queen of a desert kingdom, on my wedding day. I'm not sure where she learned her weaving skills, to be honest. But the magic she wove into this has helped me get through more than one rough scrape.

As to my experience with undead, that came from my traveling companion Jade being kidnapped by her own mother, who had turned to vampirism to extend her life and wanted to pass it along to her daughter. My group (including my wife) chased her across half of Faerun's oceans to rescue Jade, fighting almost the entire way against undead and dark elementals. The sword I wield was given to me by the vampiress' father, himself a noble Baelnorn guardian, to strike her down if she wouldn't listen to reason.

We eventually won the day and got Jade back. I lost my wife in the process though. Body and soul irrevocably destroyed - gone in an instant. She died doing something worthwhile though, and neither one of us had any regrets.

While I haven't had to fight a dracolich before, I've had to tangle with dragons and undead both. Needless to say, I'm not too fond of your typical power-hungry, trod-on-the-innocent undead types..."

He looks around for the drinks

Acme zips up to the Dalesman with a tall fluted glass of elverquist, a pint glass of Tharkadian Ebony Triple Boch and a smoking platter of sliced meat with a large baked potato and mixed vegetable. He deals them out with robotic precision.

*BEEP*

there you are sir!

"Thanks."

He holds the the Triple Boch up first, as if toasting the sky, then downs it, and then settles in to eat.

And it looks like I've got real life dinner duty tonight, so I'm probably signing off for the evening, and will try to check in tomorrow morning. Hope my dialogue wasn't too hokey for anyone :)

Hey were doing rules-absent improv storybased RPGing. Have you SEEN some of the dialogue? LOL you are fine .. :)

Drums her yellow-black striped painted nails on the bar counter.

Next D&S Acme ... I gotta shirt to win!

I'm getting the sense that we have to find a book, have lynora-Jill read it so she can commune with KC's spirit trapped in her mind so she can free it, then KC gets to fight the Foo-fighter.

I'm in LOVE with this plan!

Looks over to Acme mixing several D&Ses.

Yo Acme! 'Nother mojito here!

Crap!!! I'm going to miss the good stuff, aren't I ;P

A screeching and splashing echoes from the pool as Margarinefrog and his rodent buddy play floaty war in the center.

Not on these PG-13 boards...LOL

Jack Hammer smiles at the priestess' determination. He suspected that she would rise to the challenge, and that she might have a hollow leg. The t-shirts were a great idea, but stolen from that guy that does the Fey Gone Wild videos.

*wakes up late and enters the common, looking at each persons in turn, than sighs*
"Why do I always have to be the one to wake Dad up?"
*Walks through his farther's wards quite easily, and nudges the elf*
"Come on Dad, wake up, you said you were gonna practice your Time Magic today!"
*continues to nudge him, until he awakens*
"If you don't get up you'll get ice cold water yo the face again! You know I'll do it..."
*reaches for one of the pokeballs at his belt*

*grumbles*
"Alright I'm up, I'm up. put that thing away. Perhaps you could let them go for a swim in the pool after I remove those accursed chemicals."
*walks into the common room*
"Good morning all!"
*stares at all the new people and changes that have taken place since last night, then looks to Alaina*
"I missed a lot during my trance didn't I?

Acme whizzes up with another Dark&Stormy. Alaina tosses it down with a flip of the wrist, turning the glass over and placing with the first.

Two.

Winks at The Dalesman

Alaina laughs, a bit drunkenly

You don't know the half of it Bardsie!

Spins about and shows the Bard the intricate fractal Celtic vine tattoo through the small silken cords that crisscross her back. It seems to glow against her bronze skin, the multi-colored leaves shimmering

Lemme tell you, never mess with a treant when he's gardening!

Laughs again

Acme! Next up!

You know, Dalesman, you could go for your own t-shirt. Of course Alaina is two ahead of you.

You too, 'Bardsie'.

Grabs the next glass of Dark&Stormy from Acme and gulps it down, a little slower than before. Turns the glass over and carefully places it with the other two

Three.

Grins at JH

I believe you owe me a shirt mister. Or do I have to do five now?

*Looks at Alaina's new tattoo a little to long*
"Isn't it a little early to be dru-"
*Looks at the clock*
"I guess not, but have coffee ready to sober up with should anything happen."
*Goes to the pool to remove and safely dispose of the chemicals*
"Now that I'm here we won't be needing thses will we? Okay Rio let 'em out and show everyone how you can help!"

Well, the hour is up so no Ace badge. I ask the rest of you, did she make it within the hour?

Alaina looks hurt

Hay! That was onl ..only thirty minutes!

OK, we'll chalk it up to the Postmonster.

Acme, shirt the lady up!

You know, lynora-Jill passed out after 3 but she did it in only 15 minutes.

We need to kidnap one of the artists and have them draw up the shirt design.

"Sweet, thanks Dad!"
*turns to the pool*
"Okay let's go swimming!! Ebb!
Flow! Whirl! Leviathan! Riptide! And finally, Aurora!"
*flashes of light erupt from each ball as it's thrown in the air, releasing their occupants into the pool*
"Alright!"
*jumps in the pool after them*
"Let's have some fun!"

Acme hands Alaina a shirt

*BEEP*

Here you are miss!

Rides the crest of the pool's agitated surface

WHEEE!

Alaina takes a look at the shirt

HA! Nice .... Lemme try thish out ..

Strips her silken green shirt off and shimmies the tee on. Fortunately the young Rio was busy at the pool and didn't get a glimpse. Alaina ties the bottom of the tee in a knot so that her belly button jewel can be seen. The thin fabric of the tee leaves little to the imagination.

Alaina twirls for the group

Doesh it suit me? She poses with her hands laced behind her head.

Margarinefrog wrote:

"Yeah, Leviathan tends to do that."

*taking off his shirt, he dives into the water, and begins swimming with pokemon, clearly enjoying the moment*

Sloshes to the side of the pool

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
