Here you are sir!

JH doesn't seem as frustrated as usual. Even while others revel in the heat of battle. He is unaware that the tattoo on his back has grown, and its tendrils travel down to his feet.

We need to find them! My hammer...err...I seek their flames!

Coughs and sputters as potion is poured down her throat. Sits up.

Alright, that helped. What? Oh, we're at Club Calistria. That's good. Did the wasp make it here safely? I sent him on the wind, but I was so weak that I can't be sure it worked...

What about me? I'm stuck out here in the middle of nowhere. :)

Hey there was an offer of wasp transport, or Acme! So ....

...JRHM appears after being set down on the roof by a tired wasp accidentally

<Wakes up for a bit...>
What about simply asking the Paizomatix to assimilate them?

Looks at the oldster

The borg had a core meltdown and their servers went offline ..

Translation: Seeker had a hard drive crash

Hey, that looks good. Can I get one? Err...never mind. How about a Dirt Sundae, extra dirt?

*BEEP*

Yes sir, Mr. Hammer!

Digs up a big scoop of dirt and covers it in fresh whip cream and sprinkles

There you are sir!

*The Bard arrives in a small puff a smoke, accompanied by a young boy*
"Everyone this is my son, Rio. I belive he may be of help defending this place, since I'm sure the dracolich has never fought against someone like him. Try not to be to graphic while he's here will you? I know this is a Club of Calsitria but still..."
*He sits in a chair glad for the potions being passed out^
"Now will someone please tell me what happened? I really can't remember."

The Paizomatixes have been erased by now?
I must confess I thought we were before that point in the stream of events.
The old man mutters something about his alarm clock going off two months too late.

*somewhat sheepishly*
Hi everyone.

Malice summarizes

We got our looks at boy Tuchuses handed to us by Candle wax and the Tin Soldier ... that's about it

Uhh...thanks Acme, but dirt sundaes have ice cream and crushed Oreos with some gummy worms. It does look good though. Slides the concoction to the treant.

The Runelords could defeat them, but the Runelords are more interested in seeing your enemies succeed I fear.
They have taken themselves into seclusion anyway, aping the Runelord of Pride, save for a few of the lesser ones.
It has been many months since the other Runelords have been seen abroad.

There is power in this seedling. *surveys the son of the bard.*

My apologies sir!

Makes desired sundae and zips it over

Sits next to Jack Hammer, leaning her head on his shoulder, being careful not to get too much in the way of his food. He's a messy eater.

I was named the Champion of Wind, which was somewhat disturbing since I had hoped that the Champion would be a better fighter, but I guess I'm what you're stuck with. I went to try and hold off the Champion of Fire, so he wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else. Luckily, the Bard over there turns out to be the Champion of Sea, and he was doing a pretty good job of fighting, but in the end, we got our behinds kicked.

*climbs off the roof* Hey Acme, I need a Dark & Stormy.

A 'Bard' you say? Hmm. I don't suppose there happens to be a convenient black arrow around and a thrush to advise of a weak spot, if one of your enemies is a dragon? I have the strangest dreams sometimes, not all of them concerning this universe I fear.

*BEEP*

Right away sir!

Fixes a Dark&Stormy for JRHM

Without the Earth to bind the Seas and caress the Winds you are all vulnerable. You draw strength from each other, and from your allies. That is what our enemies lack.

Only the Lords of the Board can stand alone.

*coughs on his potion*

"What?!? I'm the Champion of the Sea?!? Okay, I'm gonna need something a little stronger than healing potions."

The lords of the boards are unlikely to aid you; they are caught up too much in their battles with one another, and the only one to interest himself openly in this contest, the one known as Kobold Cleaver, already sacrificed himself in your cause.
The lords of the boards are more likely to seek revenge upon you, for the death of one of their own.

Alaina slaps the Bard's back

Easy there killer ...Don't make the Tsar's job easier and go choking to death!

whispers in JH's ear, I don't think the Bard would appreciate you taking that first part literally, but the bit about caressing the Winds, you can feel free to take as literally as you like. You know. Later.*wink*

"Is that why I can't remember anything?"

Welcome to the draft! First I get used as a coloring book for some Evil goddess then I get 'chosen' by the Earth.

Hey, I didn't exactly volunteer for this either! I can't even fight.

A strange voice echoes in the Oracle's mind:

Stand by the grey stone
When the thrush knocks
And the last light of the setting sun
Will shine upon the keyhole

And yet.... Perhaps the one known as the 'werewoof' or 'Heathansson' might aid you if you could seek him out and soften him with the rigt words. I do not know if he has time for such trials as you will soon face though.
Hey-ho.
Yawns.

No one 'volunteers' young ones. Each is chosen. This is the way of the Greater Powers.

"I heard that, and no I would not."

ACME!

Mojito me! And make it a double!

The old man mumbles... something about a gravestone, thrush clocks, slighting the sun, and an Innesmouth keyhole. He is clearly tiring, and it's difficult to be sure where his mind is wanderng to - if he is entirely focused upon the here and now.

*BEEP*

Right way Sir!

"Dad's a Champion of the Sea? Don't know what that means exactly, but it explains why I like water types so much..."
Looking closely, you can see that while The Bard is an elf, Rio is human.

Hey-ho.
Yawns.

Looks around the gathering

Does anyone know this 'werewoof?'

The old man gathers his beard back up again, into a pillow, and nods asleep in his chair. His last words are something about 'youngsters today, tearing around with so MUCH energy'....

*walks over to Alaina*
"May I use any arcane crafting facilities you may have? I'd like to see what I can create using my newfound power, I and believe we may need whatever I can make for the upcoming battles..."

*There is a knock at the club's door, and a massive human with an even bigger earthbreaker walks in*

Emperor7 wrote:
Emperor7 casts Master earth and travels to the Club of Calistria. He has heard of the nectar served there.

Alaina looks at the Bard, pulling back a stray lock of strawberry blonde hair

Sure! I'll show you my workshop. It's in the barn complex out in the meadows ..

Takes the Bard to a well-stocked arcanist laboratory with thick concrete walls

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with this 'werewoof' the oracle speaks of. Sorry.

Hey, Rosie, could I get a pitcher of margaritas over here? Thanks.

The Enemy's power lie in the elements and in Ancient magic. That magic is what binds the dracolich to his form. Part of that power lies in the weapon the Hammer wields. Controlling it may be impossible. It seems separating the two may be impossible as well.

The Seas power lies in its strength and Time. Its depths team with life. The Winds may caress or destroy. You can never tell which. It also crosses over both the Seas and Earth, bringing life to that which stands alone. The Earth draws power from both to create Life, then in turn draws power from that life. Each is part of the Cycle.

Undead lie outside of that cycle. By standing apart they must force their will upon the Powers.

That which is given freely is stronger than that taken by force.

Alaina comes back with a few impliments.

I don't know if it will work, but I am going to try and summon this Werewoof the Oracle spoke of. Gimmie a sec ...

Starts drawing arcane symbols of the omniportal dias

My apologies. In dire times one must act quickly.

After lighting candles and drawing many arcane symbols around a duodecahedron, Alaina chants;

Poster of Power!
We have need of your strength!
Appear before us!
Lend us your wisdom!

Shrugs and starts channeling the power of Wind into the symbols, just as slowly. After all, what can it hurt?

"Hey JH, wanna help?"

*gotta go, but I'll post later.*

JH stares deeply at his hammer, tracing the runes with his eyes. As he gazes at each it seems to respond to the touch of his eye. He senses that the hammer draws power from the elements. Even here. Candles dim, ice melts, and the TV gets poor reception.

Perhaps we can weaken the dracolich's ability to draw upon the elements? I haven't a clue how, but maybe one of these spellcasters do?
