All right, so we've got a group of players! Let's get cracking on character sheets. Please create the sheets as an alias for yourself, here on the Paizo boards. If you're not sure about how to do this, I'll be happy to help...as I'm sure will the others who have done this sort of thing before. You can also just follow the links back by clicking the character's name in about any PBP thread here, and you'll see how it's done.
As stated, starting characters are 6th level, statted up using a 20 point buy (don't forget to adjust for racial mods and give your PC the 4th level ability score bump as well!)
For character wealth, total equipment should come to 16,000 gp, with a single-item limit of about 5,000 gp.
I will give your character his/her hit point total, so don't worry about that yet.
If you want to use a tool that makes the character creation process a million times easier, check out the downloadable character sheets on this website! Pathfinder adVance and sCore are wonderful, imo.

Jalden Krenshar is the local Pathfinder Society venture-captain, and she has paid all of the necessary duties for the PCs to enter Osirion and participate in the race for plunder. In return, the Society asks for a map or journal worthy of the Pathfinder Societty tradition, and 10% of the value of any antiquities found. I think we'll open things up with a traditional 'meet and greet' to get everyone acquainted, then we'll jump into the module proper.

In answer to the character creation questions posed by Nevynxxx,
We'll be using 6th level characters (fast experience track), built with a 20 point buy, and starting wealth of 16,000 gp total (with a cap on individual items of 5000 gp).
You've been looking at my other threads! What are your thoughts on expanding magic items? I am thinking of going with a staff wielder, but magic, double weapons get expensive very quickly.....Will I be able to make it say +! at both ends, and then add enhancements, or upgrade the '+' later?

I'll start working on my character's stats either tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I'll have to think about what would be appropriate for a name change. I'm sure I'll think of something appropriate by the time I get the character made.

Joana and lynora, I wonder if one of you might consider a name change for your character, as Elyria and Elly are rather similar, and might create confusion (at least for me!) :)
I noticed the similarity in the "audition" thread and I'd be happy to change my character's name, as I had already given it some thought. I kind of liked Douena Trestleben, although it's less Golarion-gnomey. So, lynora, I'll let you decide whether to keep or change your character name. I'm happy with either.

Yeah, if you've already got an alternate name picked out that saves me some time thinking up a new name for Elysia. I'd been considering Aliyah, but I wasn't sure about Aliyah Lyon as a name. Sounds just a touch goofy to me.:)

It could be either, Steve. Go with whatever makes the most sense for your character's history. There's no reason the party can't be made up of a mix of full-fledged members and allies/hirelings.

Okay, Nevynxxx, Garai is up first. Overall, he looks really good. I just have a couple of points to make.
1. There is a discrpancy between his alignment in different spots. Is he CN or LN? I presume CN is correct, because LN doesn't make a lot of sense for a Desna worshiper...but please clarify.
2. His hp total is 60.
3. When using the quarterstaff as a double weapon, does the extra damage for wielding two-handed still apply? (Serious question for anyone, I'm not sure). I figured the damage would be 1d6+5 when used as a double weapon. We can discuss this.
4. I would include a spot for remaining money. I figure after arrows and mundane equipment, he's still got somewhere between 1000-1100 gp left.
That's all I've got, overall very nice work.

Steve, I've had an initial look at Father Timmis, and I can't quite get his ability scores to work out (I think you've actually short-changed him).
Here's how I see the breakdown:
STR Base 11 (1pt) -3(age) =8
DEX Base 11 (1pt) -3(age) =8
CON Base 11 (1pt) -3(age) =8
INT Base 10 (0pt) +2(age) =12
WIS Base 16 (10pts) +2(age) +2(Human bonus) +2(magic item) =22
CHA Base 14 (5pts) +2(age) =16
So, that's only 18 of 20 points spent, and doesn't even include the additional +1 associated with reaching 4th level.
Can you take another look at this for me please?

Yes, should be CN, I realised LN wouldn't work with Desna and changed on the sheet, but not on the top bit...

You are correct, I hand added the double entry, and didn't check it over, the damage should be that bit lower.

Will do, I'll keep it to the lower of those two values, since I'm being a bit lax with counting individual items....

I took your advice and dug out sCore, it's a funky little sheet and pulled up most of my obvious errors!

All righty, I'm looking over Kimu. Here's what I see...
1. I think his Touch AC should be 12, rather than 11 (Bonus from the Ring of Protection still applies, as I understand it).
2. He has 35 hp.
3. Bards get a flat +3 bonus to all Knowledge skills, and I don't think you included that in your totals. Bump those numbers up! :)
4. I have some confusion abou this spells as noted on his sheet. Spells per day should be 5x 1st level, and 4x 2nd level, due to his high Charisma score. Spells known should be 6x level 0, 4x level 1, and 4x level 2. It looks like you've allowed an extra four spells known per level, but I'm not certain why that is.
That's what I see right now, please have a look at things (especially #3 and 4 above) and let me know if you agree or disagree. Thanks!

Douena should be up later today. I was working on her last night and got derailed by a minor household emergency (the kind that involves expensive things being broken :P). I just need to grab some time this afternoon to do her feats and skills and finalize her equipment list.

Your proposal to increase the good Father's INT score is fine. Please just remember to adjust his INT-based skill totals accordingly.
Other comments about his sheet...
1. He has 29 hp.
2. There should be an additional -1 penalty to damage with his melee weapons, due to his poor STR.
3. He should have a few more languages spoken, thanks to his improved INT score, and Linguistics skill.
4. Speaking of languages...his helm is technically over the individual gp limit for magic items I set (5000 gp)...just barely. I'm inclined to allow the helm anyway, as long as it doesn't cause any of your fellow players to cry foul, because I don't think it's game-breaking or anything. But I want to make things fair for everyone. So, I guess if anyone else had an item worth 5200 gp that they wanted, speak up now. :)

Actually the confusion was all mine. I misread the info in the spells section and applied his CHA bonus to spells known, and didn't apply the bonus spells per day. I was way off. Thanks for straightening me out. I'll fix it.
I'm just finishing equipping him, so he should be good to go as soon as I get him updated.

OK, so I decided to go with the halfling paladin. Except for equipment he should be just about complete.
Sounds good. Two devotees of Sarenrae in the group now. It will be interesting to see how Father Timmis and your paladin interact with each other...and with the rest of the group for that matter (Sarenrae's faithful tend to be a pretty zealous lot, as I understand it.)

Changes made - although I havent filled out all his languages yet (seems a little redundant given the helm...) I will get to them soonish.
I don't know why I missed that - I think I thought the limit was 6000gp or something. Sorry about that, I'll leave it for now, but happy to change of course if you prefer. :/

Douena has 35 hit points.
Her character sheet looks pretty good, I really don't see anything that needs changing. The only thing I might request is that you add a section for her combat numbers...to hit and damage with her various weapons, and so forth.
Other than that, I'd say she looks solid.

Good catch. I forgot that halflings got a bonus to Charisma when purchasing my abilities. This is how it should break down.
STR 15 (7pts) -2 racial +1 level = 14
DEX 13 (3pts) +2 racial = 15
CON 14 (5pts) = 14
Int 10 (0pts) = 10
WIS 10 (0pts) = 10
CHA 14 (5pts) +2 racial = 16
I'll adjust his scores and stats accordingly.

Aaron, thanks for the fix.
Allovin looks pretty close to ready now. Just a couple of points...
1. His hp total is 64
2. I think you need to bump up his AC by one more point, due to small size.
3. I'm not sure about the compatibility of the LG alignment with the service of Cayden Cailean. I for one have never really cared for the LG alignment restriction on paladins, as I feel that the alignment should be reflective of the god served. So, I would encourage you to change it to NG or CG.
Other than that, he looks good.
