I really, really, really, like this idea for a two age group, kid superstar contest. I like a 7-10 year old age group (the name could be RPG Ministars) and an 11-14 year old age group (name could be could be Teenstars) Anyways, it's a great idea.

Well, now I'm not 8, but I'm 9. My birthday was last week.

N-thed, since I can't accurately count past seconded.
A separate 'Superstar' for these age groups would be fantastic. I became a gamer when I spotted my English teacher sneaking peeks into a red box with a dragon on the front of it one morning during class. Those are great age ranges for an introduction to gaming : literacy, confidence in public speaking, imagination - DnD drags it out of us geeks and lays it out blinking in the sunshine.
Oh, and Nerrat has nailed it with names for the comps.

And what's not to like about Hermione?
Now Potter on the other hand... He always struck me as just a little bit too self absorbed. :)
And there you go. The most talented witch in her generation gets second billing, no matter what she does. And the fact that her political career got cut from the movies irritates me to no end.

Well, she wasn't prophesied about. And her parents were muggles. Don't try to tell me that doesn't influence these things.
And happy belated birthday, Nerrat!
