Eglantine risks the nain hitting her and moves along the tree trunk to flank with Bren. Dripping and bruised, she is no mood to act pleasantly and lets her dagger do the talking.
"You're going to regret that," snaps Eglantine as the nain's nail breaks her skin.
Catriana moves slowly toward the fight. Singing, she summons another bolt of energy which flies toward the gnome, but this one misses as well. Cursing, she tries to focus on keeping her friends alive and calls Elias to move to a better position.

Catriana misses, but her command of the battlefield restores Elias, and helps the general positioning. Yomi takes advantage of this to take a flanking position, but misses with his attack, leaving thunder rolling harmlessly .
The nain rouge, looking for a weak point by which to escape being surrounded, lashes out with his claws at Eglantine, drawing blood again -7hp to Eglantine. He then laughs and turns invisible again.
Passive Perception 24, or can take a minor action to roll:
"Laugh at us will you? I'll give you something to laugh about, all the way to the Nine Hells!"
Eglantine glares at the empty space where the nain used to be.
"You can't have gone far. And we're all waiting when you decide to show your face again."
Elias calls his cat over and stands ready for trouble.
Catriana stands still, trying to sense any motion where the nain rouge was. She thinks she sees something, but being uncertain about it, she decides to wait until the gnome reveals itself instead of using her attack for nothing.

Yomi looks alert, but makes no attack.
The nain laughs. "You cannot touch the nain rouge, mortal fools!" even as he appears between Eglantine and Yomi and lashes out at Eglantine again.
Cyrus, seeing his opportunity, mutters an incantation and the nain, looking surprised, seems to bat against invisible opponents.
Eglantine, realizing the gnome has flanked himself, takes advantage of his distraction and plants her dagger in his gut.
Catriana starts cursing the gnome, weaving it with bardic energy while trying to send it into a rage and cause it to lose its balance and judgement.
Eglantine takes some satisfaction in returning tit for tat, but feels less happy as she realises her own wounds are quite damaging.
"Cat, when you get a second, could you dole out some healing. For me. Not this thing"
There is a world of disdain in her voice.
Bren rushes to flank the ferocious gnome. His haste ruins his following attack.
Elias and Scathach wordlessly surround the vile fey and Elias thrusts his broad blade at it.
Cyrus looses an illusion of swirling spectral assailants that fly harmlessly into the wood beyond.
Circling around the nain, Eglantine takes a moment to recover and consider her next action.
Catriana sings a short tune which energizes Eglantine, strengthening her courage and healing some of her wounds. .
Turning to the gnome, Catriana keeps cursing it, hoping she could distract it again from hitting her allies.

Eglantine briefly considers climbing the nearby tree but decides against it. She sweeps a graceful curtsy at the bard.
"Deftly done, Cat. That gnome is in so much trouble. I'm angry now."

Yomi swings his scythe at the nain, but misses. The gnome simply ignores Cyrus's illusions and Catriana's taunts, as he moves around the fallen tree -- whether to escape, or for some grudge against Eglantine is impossible to say, as he swipes at her with his claws once more. Despite the acrobat's defensive posture, he lands one blow. -9hp to Eglantine
Eglantine:
"Just tie your knickers in a knot and get off my back," snaps Eglantine, startled by the sight of the slumped eladrin woman and unable to avoid the nain's attack.
"Flank me someone. I want to hurt him. Horribly."
ELias hops up onto the dead tree as his companion beast circles the gnomish fey carefully.
Yomi moves to heal the most damaged among his partymates.
"Enough! Time to die, you little bastard!"

Standing her ground, Eglantine tries once more to stab the dwarf. "I'm really taking a dislike to you. Prejudiced, I know."
Sly Flourish v Nain (1d20+12=20, 1d4+6=10, 2d8=3)
Catriana moves closer to the fight to help her comerades. Standing behind Bren, she summons a bolt of magic energy which appears in front of him and flies toward the gnome. Lastly, she encourages Eglantine to keep fighting although she seems the main target of the wierd gnome's hate.
