Huh... I guess I'm just not a very good judge of my own work. Thanks, man!

Eldritch: As far as pose goes, it's completely up to you. I'm appreciative of the fact you're even doing it at all. However, i do envision him sitting at a round wooden table in a tavern with a female (any race, as long as they're hot) at each side. Perhaps even a beautiful barmaid pouring some wine in his glass. His equipment visible, at least his weapons, mostly to show off to the girls. But it's up to you, i can't wait to see what you're vision is ;)
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. I was attempting an action-y pose that was NOT f~*~ING WORKING, so sitting at a table is fine by me. I should be able to get to work on it soon.

As i said, I'm grateful that you're doing it at all! Keep up the good work! :)

Edit: if you could work in the fact that he has his feet on the table, that'd be great.. ;) lol, it's not necessary, anything you come up with is great too

There's a unscarred version on the "Extras" gallery

Pfffft shoes, why to non-halflings always draw halflings wearing shoes. (kidding aside nice work Hugo, and yes I know 3.x did away with the big hairy foot halflings)

TRUE!!!! That slipped severely...darn, should have drawn her shoeless...darn...

No the head is wonderful . . . very creepy, perfect for Tristan! I also love the rod, very strange an alien :D

I only have one minor complaint, and I feel bad about even suggesting this because everything else looks awesome, but her shoulders seem slightly too broad in my eyes. No other complaints. Look great Shiny.

Some artists are against digital manipulation of their work, but those shoulders could be brought in quite easily with the Photoshop liquify tool. It would take 20 seconds.

Repost from above submission for Hugo's specifics

Spoiler:
Foppin Valewarder: Halfling Ranger wields two (medium) short swords (or halfling longswords), Black Hair, beard (picture a full beard and mustache then shave the chin), he wears studded leather, and has a riding dog mount/companion (black lab). Oh, and no shoes. :-P

The EQ character was a warrior, but he always wanted to be a ranger (he was created before halfing could be rangers in EQ)

Liberty's Edge

Hugo, how about this for your project:

Chin Mei Wan

Tien female. She has long black hair tied in a single pony tail that sits quite high at the back of her head. She has large, dark, almond shaped eyes and quite pale skin. Her otherwise flawless skin is marred by a faint scar on her left cheek, and a tattoo of the Tien words / symbols for Fortune and Prosperity on her right arm.

She wears battered, piecemeal, samurai style armour over a linen robe. The armour is mismatched and missing several pieces. No helmet. The robe is long and flowing, but tied with ribbons at several points to keep it close and stop it catching on things.

She wields a Chinese style longsword, with a fairly straight blade of dark steel, and an ornate hilt and pommel, carved with demon faces and decorated with red tassels. The sword is generally wielded two handed, and comes in an ornate, embossed scabbard.

She wears little adornment, save for a thin jade circlet around her forehead, and a porcelain tile adorned with a picture of a lotus blossom on a thong about her neck.

She is beautiful when she smiles … but she never smiles.

(And yes, for the purists, I realize that some of that stuff – Japanese armour with Chinese weapons for example – don’t go together. I just like the look.)

The Exchange

I have a couple of Mwangi characters, feel free to pick either :)

Soki

Soki is a typical darkskinned, tall Mwangi. She is quite attractive but also has an air of intimidation about her. Her raven black hair is kept held back in a tight ponytail, embelished with the occasional braid & quite large feather taken from things she has hunted. Soki has an athletic build typical of a jungle hunter and typically weilds a spear. Her armour is patched together from hide, leathers and the odd piece of sleek fur. She wears trophies gained from hunts with pride; animal fang jewellery & even the large raking scar along her abdomen. She also often uses the blood of fallen prey to adorn her face with spiralling tribal patterns.

!Xaba

!Xaba is a sorceress who uses tribal fetishes as foci for her spells (she believes she needs them) When adventuring she wears only a small amount of clothing, usually hides. She is a very tall, stunning figure who's dark skin is adorned by many tribal tattoos that mark her as a mystic. Her hair is very long with ribbons braided into it and is often held back and out of her face using a simple bandana or headband. Her weapon of choice is a small dagger as it is practical, being able to be used as both a weapon and a tool.

I have colour versions up of Tristan Lidu and the Liquid Metal Longsword if anyone is interested. =D

They can be found here.

Scarab Sages

Ok Set, your Scimitar of Sarenrae is up! along with that scrapwork I promised, and the accompanying dagger can be found on the first sheet of scrapwork as well. for finger placement guides, look to the scrapwork. If someone wants to colour it, I lefe instructions in the description. Enjoy. I really hope you like it, and I left it generic enough to match a sun goddess in any campaign (I know you wanted a holy symbol specific to her, but I tried for that and got generic anyway).

For those who havn't noticed, I also put up a couple of fantasy characters I did a couple of years ago, A Black Mage, A Warlock and A Gith Warrior. Hope you guys can find some use for them.

IMO, those shoulders aren't broad, it's a bunching, at the shoulder, of the cape, but if Guy wanted to see it the way he suggests I could always liquify that for you.

Liberty's Edge

Hella 'Redcoat' Slavisceck (Ulfen)

Spoiler:
Hella was born to mercenaries traveling the world for glory and fortune for their clan in the Linnorn Kingdoms and who had little to no time for a small girl, so she was used in their ship and travels like just another henchman. The girl could walk and handle a dagger even before she learnt to speak, before her 10th birthday she was given her first axe and shown how to use it, which was quite useful when a few years later one of the mercenaries intended to take advantage of her growing beauty. That was her first kill, but not the last.

Hella is a tall girl, with broad shoulders and an atletic built, with powerful arms and legs. She is slightly pretty but her rude demeanor and short conversations make her little attractive to must, who also commit the mistake to believe she has no brain. The girl is smart and wise, she has seen more death than most of the mercenaries working for her, so she thinks with a cold mind before entering battle, chosing the best choice for the current battle.

She wears an old chainmail, that now is to small for her, covering most of her torso and one arm, she uses leather boots and torn leather pants. Sher wears a dark red fur cloak, which is the one that gives her nickname of "readcoat" since one of her fellow mercenaries found her dipping it in the blood of her fallen enemies... since her first kill. She believes that by dressing in her enemies blood she earn their streng and courage, or any other virtue they had in life. She usually fight with a dark wooden shield, a sturdy and heavy thing she took from her 1st kill... an ugly but practical thing that shw saw no use in leaving for the crows.

She has a couple battleaxes with her, and another 2 throwing axes for when its needed, the girl also learend to use the long bow for the tiems when direct confrontation is not the smartest thing, but she regrets when using it... she can't take her price when she does.

She carries an osirien dagger in her belt, a fond memory of an osirian lover that she meets in oneher many trips and that was killed by his enemies... their blood Hella was sworn would stain her cloak one day.

Edit: shield added

Heck, I'll throw a couple of my favorite characters into the pot for anyone that would like a shot at them.

First is Caellis Sae'Am

Race: Feral Elf (Homebrew Race, it's just a Wood Elf with the Feral Template)
Gender: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 185 lbs.
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Skin Color: Tanned
Eye Color: Forest Green
Class: Ranger
Weapons:
Cu Tel'Arrna: Shocking Burst Composite Greatbow. Decorated with vines along the grip. Often held, when it isn't, it is slung across his back. He carries one quiver of Arrows, slung across his back on his belt.
Hyanda En'Khelek: Frost Elven Thinblade. Rather typical looking thinblade except for the Sapphire adorning the pommel. Worn one his back, over his shoulder.
Yarra Hyanda: Dagger made from the tooth of a Red Dragon. Worn on his belt.
Description: Caellis is a well-built elf with a toned muscle structure. He wears his hair in a low pony-tail that starts at his neck and ends near the middle of his back. His armor is extremely well made Studded Leather that seems to almost blend in with it's surroundings. He wears a drab gray, hooded cloak. Around his neck hangs the unidentifiable fang of an animal. From his belt hangs a few potions. Across his chest is a bandoleer with numerous pouches and a small knife.

Then we have Thoander Droranath

Race: Dwarf
Gender: Male
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 165 lbs.
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Class: Barbarian
Weapons: Twin Dwarven Waraxes. They hang on his hips, from his belt.
Description: Thoander is large by Dwarven standards, standing taller than most of his kind. His black hair and beard are trimmed short and clean, with the exception of a small braid that starts at his right temple and goes just past his shoulder. The braid is decorated with 33 beads of various shape and color. He wears a well made Chain Shirt underneath his long coat, which has the arms cut off, revealing the large muscles of his arms. His belt, along with the Waraxes, holds a few pouches, as well as a couple potions. In his right boot is a knife, with only the hilt visible. His eyes seem to hint at the inner rage that drives him.

As for the poses, I'm not picky, anything Ranger-esque for Caellis, and Raging, Barbarian-like for Thoander is just fine.

After all this time, I've finally figured out what I'd like to see.

My birthday is coming up and I'd like a cheesecakey pic of our beloved sorceress and thief(and perhaps the cleric and paladin looking on in [voluptuous] disapproval) wishing me a happy birthday!

Is that too many people in one pic? I'm not 100% sure how this thing works...

December 21st..I realize it's short notice, but I just figured out what I wanted...a lifetime of having a birthday too close to christmas means I usually don't get much time to think about what I want(I usually get it on my own beforehand or afterwards).

I'm not sure if chibi is the way to go on this one...but the chibi cheesecake had me laughing so hard, I had to save it on deviantart. I say go for it, but keep it lascivious!

Dark Archive

So I totally didn't post earlier, because I spaced it, so these are just being offered as inspiration for anyone who is interested. (Either art inspirations or just character inspirations!)

Random ideas for Golarion nationalities;

Mwangi Druid with serpent hide sash (made from a python) and helm made from a reptile skull, with a monitor lizard companion at her side, tongue flicking out to taste the air, and a spear made of wood with an enormous serpent’s tooth as spear-head that she's either leaning on, or raising overhead threateningly. She’s smiling, unpleasantly, but her teeth are blackened with ash, as is her face, with raised patterns along her arms, the exposed parts of her chest, and her face, from ritual scarification. The hand not holding her spear rests on a wicker shield *or* is holding aloft a twisting viper, that she’s just summoned with Summon Nature’s Ally. (Might wanna skip the viper as overkill. She's already got massive 'snake' motif stuff going on... If she's resting her hand on the shield, the spear will be held aloft. If she's holding a viper aloft, she'll be leaning slightly on her spear, which will be resting on the ground, pointing upwards.) Necklace of clattering teeth, dangling feathers from leather cords tied into dreadlocked hair, etc. The character should be thin and is visually inspired by the sorceress Calypso from Pirates of the Caribbean. (This particular character could also be male, with the same basic look.) The ash-marks and raised patterns on the skin would be lighter colored than the darker skin, and involving swirling serpentine spiral patterns and long curving lines that snake down limbs.

Tien Monk, shaven head but long scalp-lock, ornate robe with decorative fringe, perhaps precariously perched on one foot atop a standing quarterstaff, in a ridiculously casual pose? Perhaps he’s crouching, with one leg curled up beneath him, and resting on the slightly slanted staff, while the other hangs down and rests against the side of the staff? (Yikes, Balance check, DC 45...) His arms are crossed, revealing only a single hand, protruding from voluminous sleeves, with unusually long and sculpted fingernails, like some Chinese aristocrat or Fu Manchu wannabe. If he’s not crouching, his robe should have a long flowing oriental dragon motif twining its way down the cloth.

Ulfen Ranger, tall gangly female with long blonde braided hair, cold eyes and a stern demeanor (albino, but not visibly so in a black and white picture!). Very Valkyrie / Viking warrior-maiden looking, with a shield and a spear as her weapons, and a white wolf at her side. Chain shirt over leather, with thick hide on her shoulders, and a winged helmet (but not outrageously large horn-wings, it shouldn't dominate the picture or distract from the rest of her head) that her long scalp-braids come out from beneath (no rear braid would be visible, only the thin scalp-braids). Having her shield set aside against a handy tree and herself crouched next to her wolf, examining tracks (and / or blood-spatters...) in the snow (spear in one hand, other on the wolf’s back), long scalp-braids touching the snow and chain shirt hanging loosely, would be a neat pose.

Varisian Sorcerer. All the gypsies are women, and that's gotten old! This one would be a handsome smiling dark curly-haired fellow in a loose shirt that hangs low, but is hanging open in front, with slashed sleeves (cuffs are intact, but the cloth hands off of the arms), flaunting both his well-built arms (particularly well-built for a sorcerer!) and the top of his hairy chest, brightly colored sash-style belt, with another belt composed of linked coins, over dark tight trousers and ‘pirate’ looking boots, dangling with accoutrements of jewelry on his neck, belt, ears, the headscarf holding back his hair, etc. An illusory rose sparkles suspended upon his uplifted hand, as if he were balancing it, while his other hand rests jauntily on the cutlass at his belt. (There’s also a dagger there, at last one pouch, and some other dangling stuff, as well as another dagger shoved into a boot, and probably another in a back-sheath beneath his roomy shirt...) For a visual, look up the band Krokus (videos Our Love or Screaming in the Night or Ballroom Blitz) on YouTube and imagine the lead singer trying to carry off Jack Sparrows outfit and attitude.

The only idea I had for a Halfling was of a Gnoll trying to start a cookfire underneath a Halfling tied to a spit. The Halfling looks terrified and is trying to blow out the Gnolls tinder in a desperate attempt to not get cooked! I'm not a Halfling fan, obviously. :)
