Ah, I missed you saying anywhere (until your last post) that you had missed that save. And no pressure meant, I can hardly even imagine how much time and dedication it takes to run Three games big guy! Impressive.
Also, to be clear, the spell makes them drop the weapon no matter what. The save is to see if they drop it in time to avoid the fire/heat damage. Which he didn't.
So unless he's got some kind of resistance that's 10hp fire damage to the Orge and Ali's now in K12 in Dire Wolf form.
I'll have to post later today though. Gotta run now.
I just learned that the area I live in is due for a large ice-storm tomorrow night to be followed by a Nor'easter. So if I disappear for a few days it is because I am without power. If that happens, please DMPC Inikai for me until I return.
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Best of luck Bill! Stay Warm! (And maybe fill the bathtub, just in case )
That is not a bad idea, thanks.
Of course, I can always melt some of the snow, if I really need water. There is plenty of it on my lawn right now from the last snowstorm.

Good luck, Bill.
I flew up to Toronto for work. At least I won't have to shovel.
Weather...it's so much fun :( sorry for my absence, been weather and the webpage was giving me issues loading.
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Hey! Welcome to Toronto Thom! Quite the winter wonderland we woke up to today, eh?
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Wonderland indeed, Khal! Almost as wonderful as Atlanta last week!
I'm working with a guy from Coburn. It took him five hours to get in this morning. Since he was my ride to the plant we're already five hours behind.
I don't know how flexible or interested you are in meeting up. My story is long days with erratic end times. It would almost have to be spur of the moment. I'm staying near Pearson Airport. Phone reception at the plant is bad enough that I'm turning my phone off to preserve the battery. I can step outside at lunch and around 5 pm if you want to try to call.
nine-seven-eight-500-twenty-six_hundred
No biggie if you don't. I should be in town until the middle of next week. Maybe later.
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
It would be super cool to meet up, would be my very first in all my years of Paizo. Unfortunately the timing is not great at all as I'm leaving to Costa Rica for a month in 5 days. So between work and getting ready I'm pretty busy. It's not impossible though.
Any chance you'll be downtown at all in the next few days? Otherwise the chances are slim to none as I don't currently have a car and Pearson's a bit of a hike away.
If not this time though, does your work take you into TO often? Would be cool to grab a beer and shoot the dragon sh!t some day ; )
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Oh, which reminds me. In a few days I'll be gone for 25 days, ; )
Mostly in the jungle and beaches. Not sure yet what kind of internet access I'll have, so please feel free to DMPC Ali whenever necessary.
This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7
I used to have a job like that...classic example was walking into work one morning to the greeting from my boss of: "Don't sit down, I need you in Vienna by tonight!"
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
There is a pretty good chance of me getting back up here twice more this year for comparable stays.
I'm not sure about getting downtown. We're working in Downview at Bombardier. Hours long and variable.
Let's put it off til next time. But tell us more about Costa Rica. WOrk? Or a lot of R&R?
Dabbler, I don't travel as much as I used to, but that was a pretty good description of my job for two years. Tough on the family. And I got to go to exciting places like .... (Drum roll) .... Newark.
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Ya ok Thom, sounds good. Next time it is!
And the trip will be a bit of both, but I hope/plan to be doing significantly more R&R than W&T (Work and Toil ; )
Bombardier Transport?..I do a lot of business with them...Not my favourite supplier.
And what's wrong with Noo Joisey..My wife has relatives there
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
I like 95% of New Jersey. But have you been to Newark?
This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7
Worst place I had to go was Lagos, Nigeria. I am willing to be that compared to that, Newark isn't that bad.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Ouch. I can only imagine.
I don't do much international travel, but my big trip to Barranquilla, Columbia had both good and bad points.
Ahh Newark..wasn't it Murder Capital of the World at one point..
My Wife's Relatives Live in Middleton funnily enough I have Relatives in Atlantic Highlands the neighbouring town..small world isn't it
Newark is not as bad as it is made out to be. Compared to its neighbor, Irvington, it is quite nice.
Out of all the airports that I have ever been to Newark Airport is the easiest to get around. Chicago's O'Hare, on the other hand...
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
I've made some bad changes at O'Hare. Long walks in short time. The worst ever was Minneapolis-St. Paul though. Farthest I've ever had to slog at an airport. I made the mistake of walking instead of taking the train.
So Wellard, in the UK is Bombardier Transport their aircraft company or another division? The factory here is beautiful. People are nice. It's a huge perk when you can go look at airplanes when you take a break from work. I like it a lot.
Bombardier here is mainly trains..They supply parts for one of Diesel units.
I really can't go into detail as we are not supposed to discuss work online.Tell you more come July and that no longer applies.
|Yes on June 28th I will be officially a man of leisure..retired after 35 years loyal service.
Congratulations in advance!
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Wow, Wellard! I'd never have guessed. You don't write like an old guy. :-P
I won't jinx anything by saying more.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
And just think what all that spare time will do for your posting schedule. You'll be able to DM 20 or 30 games!

Family circumstances have forced me into early retirement..basically we don't have any child care now. I'll be debt free and have enough of a pension to live on if not extravagantly..gaming purchases will have to be cut back drastically so I'm trying to grab all the stuff I want before June.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Wellard give me the cold shoulder if I'm prying too deep, but I thought you and I were of an age. Did you start when you were 15?
I can sympathize with child care as an issue. I remember the shenanigans my wife and I went through to work around the child care we had. We were fortunate to have bosses who let us swing our schedules enough so that we could do it. I can see it would be impossible without any daycare at all.
On the plus side, you'll get to spend a lot of time with your child(ren). I hope it works out in the long run.
If I seem chatty today, it's cause I'm stuck in the airport for a couple hours.
I was 19 when I started..I'm just turned 54. I'll have just over 35 years service in on retirement which is the minimum for National Insurance purposes and you can take your work pension after 50 here.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
And I will be working til I'm at least 72.
Wellard:
Is is possible to make the map larger. I cannot read the coordinates in order to make Inikai's move.
Thanks
The map is as large as I can get it without making it totally unmanageable to edit..would you find it easier in future if I didnt texture the maps and just left them as solid colours?
That would be fine with me. This is the only map that I had trouble enlarging. I will go back and see if the other maps still work for me. It might be a problem with my computer and not on your end.
Ok Bill after this fight solid colours are the order off the day..
I tried to check the other photo albums you have to compare results. My god, who knew there were so many pictures of Justin Bieber in drag? Disturbing, really.
This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7
Not as disturbing as some, Bill.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Bill, I am so glad was hadn't just taken a drag of tea before reading your post.
I will hasten to point out that I do not have one picture like that on my photo-bucket account..and I still want to know what Selena Gomez sees in him.
Money: the ultimate aphrodisiac.
Well I think it's a relationship forged in the offices of their agents..but that's just a personal opinion...and yes I do realise that I should not be lusting after nubile 21 year old Latina actresses but..JUSTIN FRICKKIN BEIBER!!!???? Girl has no taste.
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Hey all, I'm back.
Thanks for the DMPCing Wellard.
I think you made a few little errors on her damage and such (for example not including her Big Game Hunter: +1 to hit & +2 to dam vs Large or Larger creatures,) but otherwise all good. Looking forward to the next fight!
Oh, and anyone have any idea the total damage on Ali & Lunas so far?
Ali has 27 damage and Lunas has 24.
Female Forest Gnome Wild Druid / 9| G AC17, W AC18 H AC17 DW AC21; HP 81/81, CMD 21, F/R/W 10/10/6 **, Percep +11 Low-light & Scent, Init +7
Gracias.
And assuming that wasn't counting Ali's spell, it should now be 24 and 21, yes?
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Thanks again.
And now I'm thinking, would a tunnel full of One bodies make for difficult terrain for the rest?
Either way gang, as long as we can keep them bottled up in the tunnel, this should a cake walk. Sorry Big W! ;)
Some dude
Hey all, sorry to have been offline for so long, but circumstances were a little odd earlier in the year, and then I just never got back into my old habits. I've got no excuse for why I didn't get around to posting or PMing or emailing a heads-up, 'though.
I wish you guys all the best with this most original and dynamic of groups, and thanks to DM Wellard for picking this game up, so long ago, and keeping it going for such an incredible run!
M Brownin (Half Pale Skin/Half Dark Skin) Healer 8/Merchant 3
Really? Well I understand, I've been through similar phases with my PbO myself. Would be sad to see ya go Set, but I'm glad to have gotten to have gamed with a player of your calibre! Marak will be missed!
Good to see you back, Set.
This IS the internet you know ... Alegedly human Expert (IT) 5/Ninja 3/Witch 7
I'm back too...apologies for my absence!
Well looks like we lost our cleric..He'll be missed.
I am not going to re-recruit so the rest off you will have to soldier on as best you can without his buffs after this chapter
