You post because your wife has yet to return with the theraflu and Paizo is the only thing keeping your body temperature below 103 degrees..

Um you might want to see a DR. about that.
You have started a PBP game.
You have joined a PBP game using a system you swore you would never use.
You have more fun with the PBP game than you do with tabletop gaming.
You are planning to use the NPCs you rolled up using names from messageboard members in your PBP.
Freehold DM wrote: You post because your wife has yet to return with the theraflu and Paizo is the only thing keeping your body temperature below 103 degrees.. You're convinced that you caught Freehold's flu through the message board because it's the only social interaction you have had in two weeks.

And the messageboard already has your mother's phone number... and cell number!

I'm going to come from a broken home now (sob). leave me a message here when the divorce is final (sob)."
You end a hot date with a supermodel early so you can check if anyone replied to your post.
Even at school, you prepare what you will say to a previous post from a friend.

Ok, I highly doubt anyone's that addicted. to anything really.

Not only am I addicted, I'm delusional.

Checks Paizo website while on a date with a supermodel? Far more believable. after all, she'll prolly have to randomly disappear to the washroom frequently to "freshen up" anyway. What does that even mean? I've asked every one of my female friends and no one has any idea. is it just fixing make-up? it is writing the next chapter of their book? and why does it take so bloody long. even if it's just going to the washroom. gah! heck, you'd prolly have enough time accumulated to post a scathing response to something.

Reached 1,000 post in 45 days (yay!)

Scathing responses are rarely well thought out. good point. but if you're on a hot date (supermodel or no) do you really have time to think about anything else? I can barely think about anything beyond "oh don't screw up. don't screw up. that's not funny. don't say that. she doesn't care. gah! you screwed up" even when i'm just around female friends, or women i'm trying to meet, or my brother/friend's girlfriends. or really people in general now that i think about it.
Keeps telling hot date about the scathing remark he made on the message boards while she was in the restroom.

Your family knows the personality of your online friends just as well as your RL friends.
KC... my mother does not approve.

You have RL friends? The closet thing I have to a best friend is CourtFool.
Signs You're A Paizo Messageboard Addict......
You post over and over on the Off-topic forums just to see your name on every single thread as the most recent post.
You get more upset at offending someone on the board than you do about offending a person you meet face to face.
Bluff = 3 (s%&$!) I was just saying in general, of course I have no RL friends. I'm too cool... right?
....
awkward!

Next time you should spend an action point.
I assume that it 4e jargon? Despite getting the books recentley, I still have trouble getting into them... I will try again tonight. sigh...
Joey Lafyatis wrote: I assume that it 4e jargon? Despite getting the books recentley, I still have trouble getting into them... I will try again tonight. sigh... 4e, Eberron, and D20 Modern all use action points. In Star Wars they are called force points, but it's the same mechanic.

Savage Worlds has a version of them too, which I think fits that style of game more then Dnd, but just my opinion. not to be confused with anything important.

You create a dozen alias so you always have someone to talk to on the boards.
Many of your aliases ignore you.
When your aliases often argue amongst themselves.
When you attempt to gain political leverage by using many seperate aliases. *ahem* not guilty...
You are thinking of starting a rebellion against a large group in the off-topic forums, and you're already planning out the first strike.
Davi The Eccentric wrote: You are thinking of starting a rebellion against a large group in the off-topic forums, and you're already planning out the first strike. Everything is falling into place.
You change your avatar for a few weeks but change it back because you just don't feel like yourself.
You start making song parodies with gaming lyrics.
You spend so much time on the message boards your family issues a missing persons alert.
When you see a poodle, you start thinking of Llamas.
Ubermench wrote: When you see a poodle, you start thinking of Llamas. This said, yesterday morning when I was going to work I saw a man with a white poodle...and immediate reaction was "oh look, it's CourtFool".
You think DitheringFool is older than you because of his avatar. You're surprised to find out he's not.

One of your aliases is at war with another of your aliases.
