The bugbear with the morningstar swings its weapon at Goburn (that's bugbear 3. Attack=10 vs. 16. Miss), but Goburn brings his axe up and expertly blocks the brute's attack.
The bugbear that Liandra just shot takes a 5-foot step in her direction (although the goblinoid is still 10 feet away), and attacks Skazz with its kukri (that's bugbear 4. Attack=natural 1. Miss.), but appears to fumble at that last instant and takes a moment just to keep its weapon from falling to the ground.
The last standing bugbear steps towards Algret, kukri drawn, and attacks (that's bugbear 5. Attack=17 vs. 15. 4 damage. Algret is now at 6 hp.), expertly working its blade past Algret's defenses.

OK, i'm back!!! Sorry about that people. Real life got in the way! Thanks for taking over back there for a while Iziak. I'll now take back control.
Skazz shakes his head as if coming out of a daze and roars out a challenge
"AAAHHGG!!! What is wrong with me today!! I can't even hit a flamin' 'hair bear'! Come on Tusk-Taker, don't fail me again!"
Skazz gets ready to strike again when its his turn, as he moves to confront Bugbear 4.
Skazzgrakk
Not to sure if its Skazz to go or not but heres his action anyway.
Skazz brings Tusk-Taker around in an almighty arc, connecting squarely with the remaining Bugbear. Natural 20! Conf 17+6=23. Dmg 9x3+4+31!
Skazz lets out a cry of frustration released.
"At last! The fates are with me once again!"

I now assume that you kill the remaining bugbears that are just barely alive. If this isn't the case, we can backtrack a little bit.
STANDARD TREASURE: 10 javelins, 2 kukri, 5 suits of leather armor, 5 light wooden shields, and 2 morningstars. That's a total of 99 gp, or 19 gp, 8 sp per character.
SPECIAL TREASURE: 1 masterwork kukri (can be sold for 154 gp if desired).
Glark, still cowering in the corner, looks up and squeaks, "Dead?", as he points feebly towards the bugbears.
Liandra Nightwind
Liandra re-slings her crossbow as she walks over to the bodies. "Welcome back big fella, looks like you nodded off for a bit,"
She grins at Skazz, then glances over at Algret, "AL, you gonna be ok?"
Seeing the Khukri she picks it up, comparing it to her own and lets outa low whistle. "Nice, real nice," she says making a few practiced movements with it. "Anyone mind if I take this?"

Now that the battle is over, you can all see quite clearly the writing on the scattered papers that had been in the room's corner before Corvin's spell misfired. Each reads the same:
Missing: Our Grand Queen Ileosa's ruby brooch. Presumed stolen. Whoever finds this brooch and returns it to the queen shall receive a reward of 1,200 gold sails. Anyone found to be in the possession of the item and who is not taking it directly to her Majesty shall be punished severely.
A drawing of a finely made, ruby brooch is than shown. All of these papers appear to have been removed forcefully from wherever they had been hung... the corners on all of them are ripped.
The papers on the table, which all can read, appear to mainly be lists of mundane goods, with some more valuable jewelry and items in it to. At the bottom of the one list, a single entry catches your eye.
Worn-out Harrow deck (a few days after we obtained this item, the owner managed to track us down. We dealt with her quickly enough).
As you are all looking around the room, Glark is beckoning you all to come towards the set of double doors.
Algret Durthane
Algret is sort of oblivious to all that. IF there is chair she will slowly and gently set down it, place her head between her knees and try not to throw up. If no chair: then slowly slide down a steady convenient wall that is not spinning to much. Once she catches her breath, she will start repeating a slow steady prayer in dwarvish to Torag for healing (thus casting a cure light wounds spell).
It is 1d8+1/lvl do I roll it, do you roll it
Liandra Nightwind
"D'you think these bastards have the crown? ..Wait...below us? I'm gonna look around some more," looking at Algret, "someone make sure she's ok"
While Algret gets's herself patched up, Liandra begins to sweep the room looking for hidden entrances, exits and especially trap doors.
Unless interrupted shes taking 20 on Perception to search, if there isn't time feel free to make the roll for me.
Iziak
There is a chair at the table.
You can roll, Algret.

Picture this. H=hole. W=wall. D=door. X=nothing. L=you.

It appears that a javelin is rigged to shoot out of the hole, but you don't know what the trigger is.
EVERYONE: As Liandra looks around the room, she pauses near a space at the northern wall. As she does, Glark perks up again and starts waving his arms wildly. Once he's gotten you're attention, he jumps up and down a few times, points to the floor in front of the double doors, and falls over, yelling "DEAD!" as he does so.
He stands up a few seconds later and looks at you.
Liandra Nightwind
Liandra looks over at Glark, reassesing him slightly. " Thanks, I get it"
She looks at the others, speaking in a strong whisper as she walks over to the body of one of the bugbears. "There's some sort of trap rigged to shoot a javelin out of that hole,"she says, pionting to the opening.
She coldly and efficintly uses her new khukri to sever one of the corpes hands at the wrist."I think he's trying to tell us that opening the door is the trigger, and crazily enough it sounds like there's someone asleep in there. I heard snoring."
She walks over to the hole and jams the severed hand into the hole in an attempt to block the opening.
Disable Device 1d20+8=25
"I think Imight be able to do this quietly, but be ready incase it goes to hell." She slowly pads toward the door and takes her time inspecting both it and the floor for a trigger mechanism, and attemping to disable it if she does, while attempting not to make any noise.
Perception Taking 20 for total of 23/25

Stealth 1d20+11=25

Liandra, I think that I either misrepresented the situation to you, or I am reading your previous post incorrectly. The snoring is coming from the Eastern door in the room, which leads back in the direction of the room you entered. There isn't any unusual noise outside. I'm going to assume that you are ignoring the room with the snoring, at least for now, and are going outside where Glark is pointing.
Everyone can see out through the open door, and there is indeed a strange orange glow coming up from the city off in the distance... perhaps a fire as Liandra had said, or perhaps something else.
LIANDRA
EVERYONE: It is indeed the set of double doors that you had seen as you approached the building which you are now looking out of. The loading dock which you had gone over to enter the fishery is around the building to your right, and around the building's side and to your left is an old-looking wooden walkway built just barely above the water level, which you recognize as the walkway that connects to the ship around the fishery's back. It is towards the later that Glark heads, and as he approaches the plank he stops and points out along it. He then begins running in place, before falling backwards on the ground as though he had slipped.
Liandra Nightwind
Liandra grins, shaking her head. "That's why I like you."
She grasps the Khukri in a reverse grip. "Alright then, I'll take point."
She heads wearily up the walkway, her weight shifting between legs focusing her balance as she carefully tests the ground she treads.

Acrobatics 1d20+8=28 wow natural 20!
Algret Durthane
hmmm...acrobatic check..i think not, even with a low center of gravity this does not look good plus dawrves tend to sink...quickly...
Gathering as much dwarven dignity as possible, Algret kneels down and crawls. if we get into a fight she is going to set on her rump and hurl acid darts from a safe distance....after all, they have to get through Skazz and Li first:-)
DM_Iziak
Acrobatics: Goburn 22. Glark 21 (natural 20)
Glark leads you around to the ship behind the building. The ship's railing is about 7 feet above you, and the vessel looks as though it has been unused for a long time, its wood beginning to rot away.
The goblin walks up to an area near the end of the walkway and starts feeling around. In a moment, he seems to locate something and pulls a large section of wood from the ship's side, a section obviously cut there on purpose, and the right size that a human could climb through easily enough. Glark gently places the wood on the walkway before stepping through the hole and into the ship.
DM_Iziak
The boat creaks as you put your weight on it, but it seems like it will hold. The interior walls seem to have mostly fallen or rotted away, obviously due to poor design and even worse maintenance. You see Glark near the ship's back to the south, once again feeling around the wall, but on the opposite side of the ship from where you entered. After a few seconds, he finds another pre-cut section of the ship and pulls it off, revealing a door which apparently leads back into the old fishery. He opens the old door to reveal a long hallway, ending in another door. The hall is about 30 feet long... the same length as the room of the fishery that you had originally entered. Obviously this hallway runs along the walkway you used to get back to the boat, and right alongside the room that you had first entered.
