Oh yah. Could be a TPK. Alessia is a lot of the muscle in the party. We’ll see. The dice are in your hands.

This was the other thing that jumped to mind...

Alessia is up right?

Rantherius is the villain and he already went for the round?

Should I post Hamar's actions or wait and see what Alessia does?

DM, are those 5' or 10' squares?

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Alessia is up - she’s been commanded to attack Manhayth. The squares are 5’. Alessia will be attacking Manhayth, she has no choice in the matter. If you wish to post up feel free :)

Realized that Justin also rolled 22 Init, so I posted up his actions.

Repeat question, in matching init, high dex goes first? or we roll off for it? Because my 18 dex beats Alessia's 12.

Justin didnt take time to try to ID the spell (You mentioned its a Power, but Justin doesnt know that yet), so hes hoping a concentrated dispel magic will work on whatever targeted Alessia. :)

The dice roller is often bad for me but that was simply awful!

Hi all,
Hope all are well? (Or at least OK?!?)
The silence is deafening. ;)

RL has kinda-sorta REALLY stunk for me lately. Both personally and work related.
:P

I sincerely hope that you all are doing much better than I have been! :)

I'm sure I'll expound upon this later. (I am a notorious over-sharer) ;) But for now, I'm still digesting the most recent BS I'm having to deal with.

Suffice it to say, I am very much hoping that all of you are doing well, and I look forward to these games picking up once again. (For both my sanity and my entertainment!)

God bless, and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I spoke with Pat a week or so ago, he's just super busy with work and other good things which are not my place to speak on.

I had some minor health setbacks a dew weeks ago but feeling much better now.

Woek is great, side business is booming (which is great for the wallet but bad for my free time) kids are good, new wife is amazing. Getting some of my PbP games back up and running.

Busy but mainly good busy!

Good busy is good!

(I figured that Dungeon Monkey was busy. THAT much has not changed after all these years!) ;P

Glad to hear your health setbacks were minor! And gratz on successful side gigs! ;)

Hope to see everyone (In thread at least) sooner rather than later!
Meh, I'll be waiting either way. ;)

Thanks for the update,
Have a great week!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Hey everyone -

So, first a Mea Culpa. I should not have bailed without word for as long as I have. It is not cool. There were reasons, including getting engaged, having several family issues, and having a crazy work schedule. However, none of that excuses me.

I love these games, but my life is continually exhausting. Plus the work I do now precludes me from getting on like I used to. So, although I have the best of intentions to update and upgrade, all of a sudden I blink and two months have gone by. It's maddening.

So, where does that leave us? Honestly, I REALLY want to be better. I want to update on the regular, and I think I can do it, at least a little a day if I put my mind to it. HOWEVER, I know my track record is spotty at best these past few years.

If you're still interested, I will make a good-faith effort to update. Starting this weekend. We can see how it goes from there.

No worries, I'm still around

Still here (MOST of me at any rate.) ;P

SO glad to hear that at least some of them were GOOD reasons! ;P

(CONGRATS on the engagement!!!!) :D

You know me (Well enough) by now. I'm happy to try and keep up with ANY game(s) that you want to keep going!

Nice to see your posts again!

Sovereign Court

Male hu-man Paladin

I'm still around, although I don't check the thread as often as I used to, but I'm sure everyone here accepts that real life comes first.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I appreciate it folks. I think we have a good suite of games, and honestly there is some really good stuff coming soon if I can get it tightened up.

ROFL,
Yes, you DO have a good suite of games! I love how your imagination works.

And I'll admit my own penchant for ,... um,... 'distractions and side treks',... have been less than helpful at keeping us 'tightened up' and proceeding at a reasonable pace sometimes. ;)

(I'll TRY to be better about causing tangents. But let's face it. It's ME.) ;P

Ooooh,... waitaminute.
The Dungeon Monkey Saying he has 'some really good stuff coming up', ?!?
when I already think we already in 'really good stuff'?!?

This must be REALLY really good stuff!

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

(But I will.) ;)

Welcome back Pat!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Thanks. Let’s hope I can keep it up.

I have one very fun and devious side quest in mind …

Wow.
When the 'Monkey' says out loud he has something devious in mind?

Buckle up buttercup! We in for a RIDE! ;)

Ended up working almost 12 hours today, will try to post at least something tonight

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

No worries. I am happy to have this much participation left.

LOL, our participation waxes and wanes, but our enthusiasm remains (mostly) undimmed! :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I find myself, even when I haven’t checked the site in weeks, thinking about what the characters are up to, and what is going to happen. Despite the age of some of these games, I still feel tied to them. Not every game works out like this. I have at least a dozen that have died. But the ones left I feel could go on until my death. Even if I occasionally get waylaid by real life.

One thing I am also working on is organizing all my notes into a coherent group. Now I have everything in one place rather than strung out in half-a-dozen splatbooks.

Patrick Curtin wrote:

I definitely think about this game a lot, even when it's on hiatus. Good to hear that I'm not just being overly obsessive...

It seems as though Alessia can only hit for s%*$ if she's attacking important NPCs and not monsters.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Lol. I only roll well when I’m the GM. It’s a curse

Heh, I cant tell you how many times I;ve gone back and (re) started teh continuing journal of Justin.

I am currently at the 'interview the hostage' & 'New Arrivals' part right before the battle of the Mortuary.

I really want to trim it down, make it flow and get to the next part.,
But I CAN'T! ALL of the interactions are just so much fun!
(Merle's threatening to eat the guy is still one of my early favorites)

Sigh, I may have to break it up into 2 (3?!?) sections, in order to make it work and get moving.

SO WORTH IT! :)

Um, yeah. It is definitely NOT just you thinking about the game David. ;P

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I just reread the whole Sidequest traveling bit. Still funny and horrifying in equal measure.

I roll like s#~% playing and as GM... :-(

Ragadolf wrote:

Speaking of which, I've been racking my brain for an embarrassingly long time trying to figure out how to wrap this in a few more posts. My main issue is that Alessia needs to get a bunch of relevant information (which she may or may not fully understand) from the Dustmen and give it to Justin, and, to put it mildly, she's got a few issues with things like "communication" and "interpersonal skills."

Thoughts?

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

My thoughts? In the side quest thread, Alessia is in a place that is triggers her past memories. You are also rescuing someone who is imprisoned, which could also be triggering. Perhaps the mental strain of these things break through her normal reticence and lead her to be able to talk to Justin?

I am going TRY to make a basic write-up for Memnon's stats.
Like, soon. HOPEFULLY by Sunday, but definitely this week.
:)

Hey Pat, Check your PM's when you get a moment.

Something you will hopefully find entertaining in there. :)

Luv it.

I'll keep working on it if you wish?

(I was trying too hard to make it like a legal playable race. Its not. Its an intelligent artifact.) :)[/ooc]

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

That’s fine. Yeah, it’s not a PC race. It’s the DM’s expository MacGuffin.

It wold be a cool race!
(But can you imagine a party composed of those?!? :P[/ooc]

Thank you!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

So apologies if my posting has slowed this week. Life is conspiring once again to suck all my time away. I am fighting it as best I can.

We are still missing a few people in the game. Mostly my fault for the long period of non-posting. We have heard from everyone though, which is heartening, so hopefully we can get back to a regular posting schedule.

Or at least SEMI-regular, which is better than I have been myself lately. ;P

Hey I'm just glad that we're all still around! I am very much looking forward to the continued exciting (And highly-entertaining) adventures of this motley crew! ;)

And don't sweat it Pat. I think we all on the same page when it comes to life. :D

Carry on all! PLEASE do not let an overly-verbose wizzie start monologing again! The more he talks (and the more I type) the more trouble he ends up in!
>_<

;P

Yesterday was super busy, will post tonight for Hamar, have a summer pool party for my daughter that will kill most of the day.

Oh that sounds like a GOOD day waster!

I do miss when my kids were of the age to enjoy those things.

(You know, back when they thought Dad was awesome!) ;P

Have fun!

Holy Moley Hamar!

And I thought that calculating some of my Wizzie spells with various bonuses etc was an exercise!

O_o

Yep, but worth it!

LOL, but now I wanna see something like THAT sequence in a live action or animated fantasy film! :)

Awww! Glad to hear it!

Down south here, it has been averaging 98-100+ degrees.

IN.
THE.
SHADE.
:P

(Sigh, I need to move back to OK. I miss actual weather!) ;)

Way Down south, we only have TWO seasons.

'Hotter than H@!!'
And 'Not QUITE so D@#$@# hot'! ;P

ROFL!
KArrin has such a way with words!

And I actually went to college with a southern Louisiana guy whose accent actually made him sound like that. He was always 'Axe-in' questions. :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Hi folks. Sorry, life fnucking with me still. I’m going to get a big update done Monday. I’m still here. Where did this week go??
