Hi folks
A big Happy New Year and some apologies
I have been feeling overwhelmed lately. It comes from a lot of sources. The TL;DR is that I haven’t had a lot of time to do anything. So, one of my resolutions was to get back to the things I enjoy. This is one of them.
I hope that I can begin again, and get back to speed. Wish me luck, and we’ll see how it goes. I do enjoy running these games, and I don’t want them to die.
So after avoiding it for 2 years, thanks to the stupid school system reducing the return to school time frame to 5 days after a positive test (meaning they're still contagious), my son caught Covid, and now my wife and I have it as well.
Plus side is that Omicron is not as brutal as the original or delta strains but still no fun.

We're all gonna get it,it's pretty clearly endemic now.
Hopefully it'll be just a bad flu and all will be well for you.
My ex wife and daughter just had it, my daughter was asymptomatic, my ex had essentially the flu. In fact, she tested to go back to work and that's how she found out it wasn't the flu!

Sorry to hear about your family catching COVID. May the symptoms be mild and swift. I am still waiting for my eventual infection. It is basically endemic now, and the horse is definitely out of the barn with containment.

I had it last summer, with my wife and son,
Wife and I got Antibody infusion and got over it almost immediately once we did. (Thank you God) Son was basically a flu, he's fine.
But another of my friends caught it and he still has lung damage.
My daughter has managed to play dodge-ball with the stuff and avoid it for two years now! By the skin of her teeth sometimes, but she hasn't caught it! (Knock on wood!)

Logging in seems to involve an arcane process of first closing the tab (while your browser is still open), then clearing your cache and cookies, then restarting your browser, clearing your cache and cookies again, and then opening the site back up.

but when I log in via a 'private window' it works fine. Just wont stay logged in when i go back to regular window.

The passwords and cookies are usually kept separate on most browsers these days. I didn't need to re-enter my passwords after I deleted the cookies

I'll be away next week as well, taking my daughter to the obligatory Disney/Universal/Sea World vacation that we strive for our children to have at least once.

I highly suggest a couple of the new rides at disney movie studios.
Rise of the Resistance, obviously, and the Smugglers run where you get to fly the Falcon is a must for old nerds like me.
The new toy story area has some fund stuff in it, and the new Chinese movie theater ride, 'Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway' (replaced the original Great Movie ride) which is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and you on a crazy ride is fun.
My daughter says that the Remey the Rat ride (the employees just call it 'The Rat') in Epcot is also good.
Funny, the Rise of the Resistance, Mickey & Minnie's, and Remy are ALL trackless rides. You are riding along in a giant remote controlled car. :)
FYI- I'm back,... physically anyway. Between exhaustion from teh trip, and busy work, mentally will take a few more days. :)
I'm in the middle of moving, but I should have plenty of time to post.
Ah yes, moving, my personal LEAST favorite activities of all time.

Two job openings to choose from- one as a line worker at the John Deere plant, and another as a construction electrician. Both pay significantly more than what I was making as a landscaping foreman.
Until I can find a place to live, I'll be staying with one of the old guard in Des Moines.
Well, that doesnt sound so bad. At least you already have options, and they pay well! :)

Now Paizo isn’t letting me access the site unless I use my phone.
I am not going to make promises, just a quick statement.
These games are still on my mind
I want to continue, but my life has not been conducive to this.
I hope that I can revive them at some future point.

I also am having problems signing in since they did an update. Others tell me if you wipe your site cookies or something it works? But I have just been signing in after opening the link in a PRIVATE window in Firefox, and it works. :P
I also hope that you can revive the game(s). I truly enjoy spending time in a fantasy world with all of these colorful, creative characters.
(And c'mon who doesn't enjoy watching the supposedly smart guy in the room make a fool of himself? Repeatedly?) ;)
I am also busy. People came out for events after Covid with a vengeance!
