No worries, I've had the same struggles recently and I am down to running only a single game on Paizo!

NO worries,
I been stressing, I mean BUSY at work, and I blinked and realized that I have not posted anything for 3-4 days! O_o

Oops. (Sorry) ;)

And yes, Justin is trying NOT to laugh, and cause an(nother) underground incident. ;P

And just like that, the map's working again...

Hey all,
Just finished a 14 hours load in/rehearsal of my first 'back to insanity' rental shows, (Kids show, doing Spongebob the musical. Yes, that is totally a real thing. ) ;P

APologies in advance if I seem to vanish, Its going to be a long week.
I'm alive, just busy. :)

Anyone else other than Alessia staying behind with the gear?

um,... Seph? :) I didn't see anyone else say anything about staying behind?

Hamar is going, he would rather die with allies than alone. As Alessia is already dead should be fine for her :-)

Wow, we can finally say the Wand of Orcus, I have no idea how long I've been waiting to say that. As I'm pretty familiar with D&D lore I knew we were dealing with Orcus and his wand for quite some time but I had to keep Karrin's knowledge separated from my own knowledge. Pretty cool reveal that's been a long time in the works.

Agreed.

On my table top game back in 2007 the PCs played through Throne of Bloodstone. They defeated Orcus but did not handle the final quest to destroy the Wand. Which is good, the current PCs are playing Evil and they are going to be headed to the 7th Heavens to retrieve the Wand so Orcus can be reborn in my table top game. I think it'll be funny 15 years later for mostly the same players to realize that their NOT destroying the Wand way back when will have consequences on the game world now ;-) Though their NEXT group of PCs will be the ones to deal with the fallout of the return of Orcus.

Kind of funny that I have a plot to recover the Wand in my RL game but for very different reasons than what we are doing here! :-)

Wow. THAT is some good, convoluted and cool plot-telling right there!

I think you and one of my oldest friends would get along. HE does that kind of world-spanning, epic-far-ahead-thinking too! :)

(the rest of the group keeps threatening to lock him in a room and not let him out until he writes a book. Or three. He has that many of those kinda things percolating in his head.) ;P

Heh, I hope that my (RL) memory is not messing things up. (I'll be playing the perfect brain-addled-wizard in no time, only I wont be playing!) ;P

If I'm remembering various (ancient) clues right, the Rod absorbs CHA, and can put it into overly-potent potions. But I thought I recalled finding a scrap of a clue that hinted the rod might also be the power source for something? The way I remember the clue It sounded like it powered something big. (?)

I dunno, the geeky nerd in me briefly imagined a giant, magic-powered 'Mech-Golem and a knock-down, drag-out fight Saban-Power-Rangers-style between us and Tenebrous. :)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I won’t tell you much, but I’ll tell you this: The rod doesn’t come into play with this story arc. Originally it was a throwaway piece of magic in this module, that you were supposed to destroy after you reclaimed it. However, I have created plans for it. You are correct that you found information that it was a power source. But that story is much farther down the road

Oh I plan on writing a book when I retire.

I was going to do so once my daughter turned to her teen-age tune out years but starting a side business has pretty much quashed that idea for now.

LOL,

Trust a wizard to muck up a simple plan! (Sorry!)
At least I can count on you to take it and run with it! ;)

Still,... I can DREAM of giant-golem-mechs until the actual plot finally comes to fruition, yes?!? :D

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

I’m not even supposed to be here today!!!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Well that was a fun 11 hours of OT on my day off ...

Ouchies.

Still, pain for the eyeballs, balm for the pocketbook! :)

Hi all!

FYI, this coming Tuesday, June 1, is my wedding anniversary.

(25 years my wife has put up with me. She deserves a medal or something.) ;P

But since i am WORKING this Tuesday, I will be taking my wife to a B&B to celebrate this weekend. After that I will be doing a week-long dance show, SO during the week I will be checking (occasionally) when able but will not be posting much for the next week.

Just another 'I'm not gone just busy' note from your local Wizzie. :)

Have a great Memorial Day!

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Hi all. Sorry for the quietness. I've been working very long hours. If there is anything anyone will want to do in Sigil, let me know

Hamar will be busy getting busy...

LOL!
I BET he will! :)

Hey Pat, I hope the long hours = bigger paychecks?

I'm sure that Justin will want to do SOMETHING,... give me time to figure out what,...
;P

Oooh,...
NICE Mr Shiny!

Hrm,... let me see,... ;)

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

Folks, apologies. A lot of craziness in my life these times. I am going to try and get solid in the upcoming days

Hah! No worries, I liked it! :)

(I mean, you ARE talking to a crazy old wizard, so YMMV, but I thought it was a short, brilliant peek into the mind-set of a long-dead , vengeance-obsessed warrior.) :)

Apologies never required.

Take care Pat, as always, we'll be here when you get back! :)

(Is this Craziness another epidemic?!? because I swear that it seems to be contagious lately. I'm just talking about (my) life in general. Nothing specific) ;P

Yes. Yes, it is.

Oh. Good. For a minute there I thought it was just ME! ;P

(That explains a lot, actually,) ;)

Are you sure? If not, I'm filing this one away for future characters,

I'm Sure. ,... Ish,... ;P

I think the only thing Karrin would be interested in doing in her off time would be trying to send a letter, along with money, to her adopted dad. She was just in Grey Hawk but the nature of the adventure made it impossible for her to get word to her father on the surface.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

That’s easy enough to do. Anyone else let me know

I'm assuming Alessia will spend her downtime lurking, possibly with some brief interludes of restless pacing back and forth.

DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE

No rooftop brooding?

Blayze Female Aasimar Gunslinger (Mysterious Stranger) 2/ Paladin (Holy Gun/Divine Hunter) 9

Being in a totally new environment, Blayze would probably just try to get the lay of the land and get acquainted with things.

Justin has the most BIZARRE encounters, ;P

(And he wouldn't have it any other way!) ;)

One day, Justin will just go out and have a nice, quiet, drink.

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh,............ NOT!

Nah, brooding really isn't her style. Even when she was still alive, she was definitely an uncomplicated sort of person, and since she's been dead, she's had kind of a one-track mind. Maybe 1.5 tracks on a good day.

Something like that one guy on every construction crew who spends the crew's entire lunch break pacing around waiting for the break to be over so they can get back to work.

Just for the record, nobody likes that guy. Also for the record, 75% of the time, that guy is me.

Glad that I could help! :)

EDIT- OK< THAT was really good. Interesting. I actually wish that explanation of Jack's background was longer now. But it was perfect! :)

OI,
Help out a poor player's even poorer memory, will ya?

WHERE/(What) the heck is Agathion?!?

(And yes, I thought to google it AFTER I first posted the question. I'm tired after dealing with what is probably the MOST-unorganized dance school owner on the planet for the last 2 days. Also with ZERO time-management skills)
;P

Agathion- A spirit,
ALSO, last/4th layer of Pandemonium.
Due to various (awful) natural phenomenon, (like tornadoes and caves) a good place to hide things.

Which explains what the WAND is doing there,.... ;P

I think I know what Justin will do next. Waiting for a wrap-up/follow-up post before I finalize it though. :)

(Hint, it;s actually a smart thing!) :)
