Are there any plans to include one or more pages about or related to other Pathfinder resources than at Paizo.com and lists of Pathfinder/Golarion campaigns? I mean . . . if, say, someone creates a house rules archive on some other website, or a chronicle of his/her playtesting of the new Pathfinder RPG, or something like that, is there going to be a place to list and/or explain such things at the Pathfinder Wiki?

there is a message board on the wiki itself, I would suggest that if you would like this sort of thing, than the best thing to do it discuss it there, the wiki is still young, and we are still working out the kinks about what to include and how to include it

A heads-up to anyone who has used or helped out on the wiki. In the process of updating the wiki to a newer version of the software, we had a complete loss of date. We have restored data backed up on May 15, but all user information was lost, as were all edits since that date. If you have contributed to the site, we apologize for the inconvenience, and ask that you have patience as we restore the site to its previous state.

The PathfinderWiki now has an extensive help section to assist new contributors in making their first edits or additions to the resource. There are currently a lot of users registered for the site, but only a handful seem able to get over their initial fear of editing, so these should help those with stage fright. Further walkthroughs will be up on the site soon.

Hey Wiki monster,

Is anyone working on the languages of Golarion? I'd be interested in putting my degree in Applied Linguistics to good use gathering, recording, and explicating the languages of Golarion.

I had a blast yesterday perusing PathfinderWiki, learned a lot, too. Thank you for all your hard work!

as of right now, I don't think anyone has started on the languages yet..

and those who have seen the wiki and learned from it, please feel free to make an account and make it grow. we are at almost 800 articles, and I have almost 30 more to go from just the journal sections, never mind the other sections of the books. Even if your wiki-code is weak, feel free to put information on it and note what the source is. Yoda or I can come through and fix any formatting or template errors.

No one is, as of yet working on these, at least not on the wiki itself. Someone could be writing up articles for them to post when they're completed, but there's nothing on the languages on the site itself. If you'd like to take that task on, I support that decision. Let me know here, in the chat, or on the wiki messageboard (accessible through the community portal or at the bottom of the main page) if there's anything I can do to help get you off to a running start.

I've just added a Pathfinder Wiki page on WikiIndex and I thought you would want to know. WikiIndex is a wiki about other wikis, so if you update Pathfinder Wiki, please feel free to go to Wiki Index and update your page.

I've linked directly to pathfinder.wikia.com on that page, as the URL you have been giving in this thread just redirects to that.

BTW: Someone at WikiIndex has invented something called a "wikiFator", which is kind of a scientific measurement on how popular a wiki is with readers. You have a wikiFactor of 2!

That's awesome bigmac! Thanks! I hope this directs more potential chroniclers to the site. We're starting to pick up a lot of momentum in the last month so hopefully the extra publicity grows our numbers even further.

Wikia, who hosts the PathfinderWiki has added a blog feature. This, along with other great community-building resources, is really increasing the potential for PathfinderWiki. It's now easier than ever to take part in the project, whether as a user or a contributor (we call them Chroniclers). Check out the first major blog post here and comment, or better yet, take advantage of one of the many ways I detail in the post about how you can get involved!

The Campaign Setting inclusion project has begun! Already we're making major headway in making the PathfinderWiki the single-most comprehensive resource for Pathfinder Chronicles setting information on the planet.

Also, a huge shoutout and thanks to Amethal, who had a personal interest in the Mwangi Expanse and dove head-first into the wiki to get as much info as he could on the subject up and accessible to the community. For anyone worried that inexperience at wiki editing should deter you from making a contribution, look no further than Amethal, who took the risk and is already making the PathfinderWiki a more thorough and useful place. Thanks a ton, Amethal!

PathfinderWiki his an article count of 2,500 tonight! We're now officially listed among Wikia's "big wikis" category. That's not to say we can't still use all the help we can get. So drop on by and make an edit or two to your favorite wiki article or add a new one on a missing topic and let's see how quickly we can get to 3,000.

woo-hoo! I think I'm going to have some time tonight, I'll try to get some of the red links in my profile up... finish up flora and the slavery one at least...

Check out the new polls feature at PathfinderWiki, beginning with the obligatory "favorite iconic" question. Right now it's a four way tie; jump in and determine which iconic may be featured in future wiki content! vote here!

I love the wiki, and it is loads of help, but I have one problem with it: I can't let my players use it, because it is too spoilerific! For example, off the article on Sandpoint (a would-be useful resource for players of Rise of the Runelords, which I'm running) the article Late Unpleasantness contains major AP plotline spoilers, the Sandpoint Glassworks contains a minor spoiler, and even the Pillbug's Pantry article contains information that players wouldn't easily find out.

Is there any way to mark a page (or even section) as GM-only information? I could at least just tell my players not to read those bits.

You can add the {{Spoiler}} template to the top of any page you feel gives away a major plot spoiler.
