It makes for a better 'guy with explosives' type than the Dr. Frankenstein weirdo knockoff, I thought.

Anyway, explosives are the way to go in CoC. Not even Dagon deals well with stepping on an anti-tank mine. :D

Nice. I am one of those odd fellows who actually likes playing clerics, but I'll give you this one. That gives us something along these lines:

Kruely: Someone with INT 6
Mothers: A witch?
Aubers: A doubt-racked paladin
Raggy: A skill-focused rogue?
Patters: An overwrought summoner
Arters: A nosy noblegirl cleric
Vatters: A semi-demented artillery captain (with ranks in Profession: Siege engineer!)

Heh, and I have just spent the afternoon statting up a crusading, undead-slaying cleric of Iomodae ... sheesh, run an adventure path with a lot of undead and suddenly everyone wants to play the cleric! ;-)

Nevermind, I like arcane casters, I can certainly go with the witch / wizard / sorcerer idea, so long as its not stepping on Pat's toes.

Nuthin' wrong with two clerics. Sounds like the crusader might fill a front line spot alongside Aubrey that we're otherwise missing. My noblegirl won't gonna be big on the mano-a-mano, at least at first.

The haunted lady idea is pretty cool too :)

Hey, I was just about to volunteer to play an oracle, and overnight I discover the whole party are divine casters! I'll run with my angsty pally, then.

Just started a discussion thread here for Carrion Crown.

Awlright,
I needs sum ad-vice.

I'm trying to buy the druid something he'll actually use. For what I have, I can afford to upgrade his armor by +1 AC.

There MUST be something more useful I can buy for 6.5K!
:P

I dunno, mebbe upgrade his amulet of mighty fists?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

that might work, or an amulet of natural armor maybe?

Liberty's Edge

Apologies for being gone. Has Vilya been with the party for the last ten pages or so?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

She fell down a hole in combat; it's an easy retcon to say yes she's been taggin' along.

This is, after all, the Planescape universe--the hole could have been a portal. You fall down the hole, and weeks later, you fall up out of another hole miles away.

She went to the same place that familiars, animal companions and NPCs go to when they’re not needed / forgotten about. It’s a mysterious, wonderful place that one can return from at will as soon as they’re needed.

Liberty's Edge

Level up or no?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

heck yeah.

Good to hear things are ok. I spent about 40 hours in the hospital in the last 10 days. Suckage.

Then there was the propane explosion in my kitchen. No_leg_hair... thank you deregulation.

Pat, I'm glad everyone is back home.

Kruelaid,...
I simply have no response for that one. Other than I'm glad your back home too.

;P

Been crazy busy weekend. I'm catching up as best I can.

*dot*

I lost my arm hair and eyebrows in a barbecue blowout last year. It grows back, so don't worry about that. Hair is overrated, anyway.

Heh. heheh,...
Having actually met Vatt, I can verify that he speaks the truth. ;D

Sorry for any delays guys, been swamped (literally, check out the newscasts on the flooding Mississippi and opening the levy floodwalls) but am now trying to catch up.

Hope it went well Heath.

Sorry if I’ve been a bit flakey or absent lately, had a very busy week last week, a very busy weekend, and now I am dealing with some stuff that is not putting me in a great head-space for gaming right now.

I’ll try to get back into it as soon as I can (very shortly if possible).

next you know she'll be married

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Ja. I'm contemplating buying a harley, shotgun, and viscious dog to beat the chumps back.

Ja-Ja!

I decided long ago that I'm going to be the dad sitting on his porch when her date arrives, sharpening my swords. Calmly reciting facts about how easy it is to cut through muscles, break bones, etc. :D

"Oh, when did you say you'd have her home by?" <Sound of whetstone grating down the blade>

(That's ONE way to clear the sinuses,...)

Gentlemen,

My wife and I have decided to move from Arizona to Norway. I'm leaving in a couple of weeks, and she'll come after (with the baby and the dog) in the fall. Right now we're in packing mode.

SO - I'm going to be rather busy over the next two weeks; then I'll fly home and switch to Aubreytime. So my posting routine is going to be both a bit more restrained than usual, and then change to a different timeslot after that.

Norgie!

Is that offensive? We throw it around in Canada a lot because there are lots of Norwegians. But I never thought it might offend.

The Exchange

I am now offended.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I'm only an eighth Norwegian, so IDK.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I wish the Minnesota Vikings would quit using my people as a mascot though.

Don't get me started on the Boston Celtics. you ever seen their mascot? At least the viking looks menacing, not half drunk and grinning. =P

Moving update: We're starting to move stuff into storage tomorrow, and will cancel our cable and internet as of Friday. After that I expect to be mostly busy until Thursday, before getting on the plane on Sunday. So I really don't think I'll be around much over the next ten days or so.

I've updated Altai's spell lists, gearing him towards serious mage-killing. So if someone wants to run him in my absence, go for it! He has a fully charged Staff of fire; stats for Gjetost and the Jolly Green Giant are at the bottom of his character sheet.
