I wish Riese was here.

This is the bestest post in the history of the internet. That is all.

Wow, I won the internet!

What do I get?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Dear Snorri Sturluson,

I'm sorry for what I'm about to do to Asgard.
It couldn't be helped.
It's beyond my control.

Your friend,
Dungeonmaster Heathy

Ain't no zitars in Asgard!

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

That's later. ;)
I'm in the brainstorming mode now though.

Odin,...
Be afraid.

Be very,... VERY afraid!

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

huh. the last day's posts are kinda disappearing off my pbp, but I told Gary so maybe it'll get fixed.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

They are back!

At least for now.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

cool!

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Whelp....Asgard's shaping up smartly...

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Planes of Chaos and Planescape Boxes are really neato.

Funny. I was just flippping through mines about an hour ago looking for tidbits on Yggdrasil. It still holds up pretty good after 14 or so years, huh?

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I think so....I'm just trying to figure out all them faction dudes.
The Expedition to the Demonweb Pits book had a bit about Yggdrasil.
I think that book's been the most plundered book for my pbp yet.

Yih. I was looking thru that one too. It's good to have a reference library. =D

That book has the squirrleys in it. I love them squirrleys...

You guys make me nervous,... I don't know why.
;P

On a side note,...

Just wanted to let everyone know that things are,... hectic,... over here. So if I drop off of radar for a day or so, it's NOT due to lack of interest, just trying to deal with RL. (Which is always about as much fun as it sounds!) ;P

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

right on, Raggy!

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

Huh. The rakshasa running into melee was definitely not part of the plan.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Mwahahaha!

She's pretty f~$#ed up though...which is probably a really really good thing for Stiggy ATM.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to seeing what the fire giant can do with a full attack sequence. Vimanda seems to be a rather untypical rakshasa, which is always cool.

Liberty's Edge

Male Mothman Expert 5

It's the Abyssal giant that scares me.

Still, any giant can be scary.

My Shackled City group recently went up against a fire giant blacksmith (5th level expert); he very nearly had the best of the group of six 6th and 7th level characters – took the fighter and the warrior-cleric down to negatives, sundered the fighters +1 cold iron bastard sword and grappled the rogue ... the group just managed to bring him down before he threw the rogue into the furnace for 16d6 points of fire damage!

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

That wall of thorns has got her pretty well hemmed up for the nonce...
what a spell!

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

One more crazy feature of Elgan's plant monsters. Huzzah!

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

where is that feat at again?

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

It's a Forgotten Realms feat. Don't remember from which sourcebook. The craziest thing is that it's not a metammagic feat and doesn't add any level costs to the spell - AND it stacks with Augment Summoning. Nuts!

We'll have Bor step in and help him in a sec, I reckon the hasted minotaur should be able to take at least one wererat rogue in a round of full attack.
I think I could, if I could avoid taking 40 h.p. of damage in a round...

I've got my hands full and then some as well with that swarm of gnoll snipers. Gil seems to have a plan - I'm looking forward to seeing what it is.

m ROD! CLERIC 6 EXORCIST SLVR FLAME 5exp =125,535(cast as a 9th level cleric)

I'll prolly be allright.
*stops whining*

Ah, the heady days of late 3.5 power creep!

POwer creep? The Greenbound summoning feat is more like a Power LEAP!
Which is prolly why I like it so much! ;P

The Exchange

Right Oso will probably need NPCing in the fight. I am afraid I don't have the time or energy to map this fight and keep up. Work has thrown me a possible minor promotion involving PR/charity stuff and I need to investigate it quick before my wife returns to work next week.

Sorry I did want this to be my last hoorah.

Cheers

Heh, as much fun as Heathy's fights are, I'D take a minor promotion over mapping/rolling dice anyday! ;)

Good luck Frenchie! :D

Liberty's Edge

Male Mothman Expert 5

Yes, hope it turns out right for you FW.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Hey, man; good luck with the promotion.
I'll miss you; Oso's got a chair at the Round Table just like Launcelot and a full cup.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

Yeah, good luck with the newish position (and with the new kid, sick wife and all that). We'll be looking for you once you reemerge.

The APG is f*%*ing awesome.

I'm (slowly) working my way through it and....building random Asgardian menaces.

So we're still on track with our planar adventure? Awesome!

hell yeah...

Well, I didn't have anything in mind,(any time soon) but what the hell; I'll work on something; it'll have to be on the intradimensional trip somehow I guess.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Dungeon #55: Umbra.
Planescape adventure in Sigil.
Anyone play it?
Lvl 6-9, but that never stopped me.
I converted it to Rifts many moons ago, 3P is no big stretch.....

I've heard about it (supposed to be one of the great Dungeon adventures - Chris Perkins is it?) but not played or read it.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I don't remember who wrote it offhand; it's cool though.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

That's from well before my time. As an added bonus, I know next to nothing about the whole Planescape thing, so go right ahead.

Never played. I own it, read it many many moons ago, but honestly don't remember a whole heck of a lot. I would love to run thru it :)

I collected the Dragon mags, not the Dungeons (unless they were a tie-in to a Dragon) So your safe here! Go for it! :)

Pussy. Dammit, the first time I use displacement (had it for over a year) and I waste it.
I vacillated; with all the f!*%ing hit points Vimanda had, I wasn't sure I should make that guy an ubertank too.

She had something in the neighbourhood of 220 hit points, right? If you don't mind me asking, what was the post-MM add-ons? Was she some sorta high-mobility monk/fighter/rogue combo, a Runzyl-style whirling barbarian or something new and cool from the APG? I'm just curious about the general build.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I didn't have the APG yet; so nothing from there (aside from a cleric spell...it either gives.....1 attack OR 30 more feet of movement OR some other stuff; it's called "blessing of fervor" or something.)
She was a monk in Escape from Old Korvosa; I amped her up to 6th level.
That's it.
I....don't know where the whole "monks suck" schtick comes from. They're pretty badass.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I love it when the simplest build seems so utterly magical.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Expert 5

Cool! With the (literally) out-of-this-world CON scores outsiders have, a few extra HD builds hit points real fast. And, yeah, monks rock.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

DR 15 good AND piercing is kinda helpful too.

It's all about the presentation - it is always cool when you have a baddie doing handstands while shanking you in the kidney.
