Grats on the new job Aubrey!
I will be attending a hurricane possibly tomorrow evening, so depending on just how craaazy we get I might not be on for a few days.
Good luck to ya!
I'm on call all weekend, so I don't know what I'll be up to either....

Cheers and all the best Aubrey. I hope that the "management" haven't got their eyes on you too.
Sounds good mate! Congrats.

Heh, Awesome Aub!
Gratz on the new job! Have fun! (But not TOO much fun! It IS supposed to be work after all!) ;P

It's a good job, acting as the community liaison handing out cheques and organising various charitable stuff. But as good as the opportunity is, its about three years too soon. My family time would disappear because that's all I have left after looking after my daughter, and so I said no. Its nice to be asked though.
Cheers

Heh, <snort>
'calm down'
Heh, yeah,
Good luck with that!
;)
I am reminded of when my former boss's daughter was born.
He said (paraphrased) "She's beautiful. She's perfect. She is my punishment for all the wrong I did when I was younger! Because, every time she goes out, I KNOW what her date is thinking!"
:)
(My daughter just turned 11. I am SO looking forward to her 'going out',... NOT!) :P

Hey all.
I get the feeling the game has lost a bit of momentum with French Wolf and Aubrey taking their leave, and most of the rest of us being quite busy.
Time permitting, I think it would be great if we could up shift gears again. It might help if we all let each other know how we are going time-wise and if there are still things that are likely to hold people up.
For my part, I had a hectic weekend, but should be mostly about during the week. May not have quite as much time as usual though, it might be another relatively busy work-week, plus I will need to spend some of my time this week preparing to GM a session on Friday night.

Wait, you game with Real live people? In Person?
I didn't know we were allowed to do that anymore! ;)
Have fun Moth!
For me, I seem to think I'm always hectic, but this week should be fairly normal. (Normal means busy as usual, but no evening shows I have to worry about.) I should be able to continue my usual long-winded postings this week, although some of them will be very late, after the kids go to bed.
I do have a show this coming weekend though, so little to no posting then.

Double w00t!!! Looks like I'll be the father of a little girl!
Congrats!
Looks like mine (due December) will be a girl too.
Ha! First I need to know whether I'll be commuting to the US or Europe to drop her off for the play date ... how's the job hunting going?

How are you feeling, shoulder on the mend?
It was until yesterday, when I put Little Man in his crib and did it in again. But generally it is a bit better. I'm posting now so hopefully it will be alright soon.

Wowzers,
Double-Gratz!Girls are awesome. And as a general rule, they always smell better than the boys. ;)
(Seriously, no matter how often I bathe my son, he always smells like he just finished playing in a mud puddle! It's a boy thing, I guess,...) ;(
AND, the wife gets to play dress up with her daughter! (I know my daughter was wearing a bow taped to her head long before she had any hair!) :)
Congratz guys!

Ouch! Yeah, those 'baby curls/lifts' will get you every time! :)
Get better soon(er)! ;)

It isn't by any stretch of the imagination the recommended generic encounter, but I just have always wanted to figure out how to present a massive melee somehow in D&D form, without "miniature rules" necessarily.
But Aubrey's recent ogre fight inspired me. That was flippin sweet.

Everything's better with more speed.

Probably. I guess I had more Motörhead and Sepultura LPs and fewer Van Halen discs, but otherwise there was probably a big overlap. I got into Satriani later (his G3 stuff depresses me - why does he share the stage with über-douches Malmsteen and Steve Vai??!!?).
