Oh, sure, tell the tree-hugger that he has to KILL an animal to use his powers! ;P

That's ok, it just means I have to do a lot of extra work. I have to add the greenbound template AND the effects of Augment Summoning to my critters!

But it'll be worth it! :D

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

I'us just kidding....

oh.
Wel then,... um,...

That group of hippie/arkansas/hermits that are about to knock on your door,... tell them I said it was all a mistake.

Wow. That is rather good. Fits in well with the general FR power level.

I agreee! I have to admit, it is a little TOO good. WOuld be a great feat for a druid to have, just needs a few prereqs to make a 'general' feat. As it is, you can take at first level! Can you imagine being able to summon a 1st lvl critter that can summon a wall of thorns?!?

What do you think Vatt? (Or anyone else) Spell Focus: Conjuration, and maybe enhanced summoning (or what ever it is called,) as prereqs, then you can take it as is?

It's called Augment Summoning (Altai has it - good feat). And yeah, I think I would have required both as a prerequisite, as well as (maybe) a minimum caster level. I don't see it as being too problematic at our current level, but it would certainly cause some imbalances earlier on.

BTW, does the greenbound summoning spell increase in level?

I agree. With the feat written as is, you can take as your first lvl feat. Talk about a little overpowered at 1st lvl! (No wonder I like it!)

And no, so far as I know, it isn't a meta-magic feat, it's a general feat. It just affects all the natures ally spells that I cast. No extra lvls or anything.

Oh, AND I read a thread ,(somewhere online), that said it stacks WITH augment summoning (Which Elgan also took) so my beasties be BAAAD! :)

Crazy! I guess the main thing to keep in mind is that the slam attacks aren't in addition to the regular attacks the creature already has So you only get tons of extra natural armour, bonuses to all relevant stats, immunity to mind-affecting effects...

Are plants still immune to critical hits, BTW? Now that constructs and undead can be critted, I'm sure plants can be too. Also, Heathy is free to use the same perversions against us, of course.

Also, Elgan's skills haven't been updated to Pathfinder standards. Get to it, lazybutt!

They haven't? But I spent all of my,... aw man! I haven't changed the SKILLS to PFRPG, have I?!?

Good question about the immunity to Crits. I didn't know that they took that away from constructs and undead. (I'm a little behind on my rules-fu, esc concerning the changes PFRPG has made) That's what made them such cool enemies!
Aw well,... back to work,... (At least it's on my Char!) :D

Anyway, it snuffed over a 1000 people now. But monks and army are cooperating finally, which is good.

I first learned about the candiru in some cheesy comic (it might have been The Phantom or whatever that strip about Mandrake and his loincloth-wearing sidekick was called) - I thought it was a joke. And it is never too early to learn how to mix a proper drink. Good for him!

RE: bulette hide armour. Here's one take on exotic materials and armourcrafting. Beyond that, I can't find anything (though I also seem to remember something about crrafting special armour from bulette hides).

I browsed that one to "Eater of Flesh"... geektastic.

Yeah,...
The geek in me is vaguely remembering something,... maybe from the 1st Ed monster manual? That said Bullette hides either made good magical armors, or at least magical shields?

My wife and I went and saw Kick-Ass yesterday - I thought it was absolutely hillarious, though it probably isn't for everyone (you may want to stay away if you have a thing against violence or swearing). Big kudos to Nicholas Cage for playing Big Daddy, who must be the world's creepiest superhero.

It's kind of like a good John Woo movie (i.e. Hard Boiled or The Killer, not Mission Impossible II) with more smartass dialogue and stupid costumes. I think my dad would be completely mystified by it, but I thought it was awesome. Oh, and my wife loved it too.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

That's cool.

Aw man,...
I had convinced myself that I didn't want to go see it. But now, well, I respect your opinion more than the kids I work with.

Now I wanna go see it! ;P

Well, he is from the Smart Country.

Actually, I don’t know if we’re still calling ourselves that, over the last fifteen years or so I think Australia has become just as dumb as most of the rest of the world. Leaving aside the elitist divide that is seriously threatening our school and university systems, the lack of foresight successive governments seem to have had when it comes to the pressures of a growing, aging population, immigration numbers and infrastructure, and the fact that we’re letting foreign interests buy up huge tracts of our countryside and natural resources, the latest “smart” choice that our government has made (or that the federal opposition has forced the government to, depending on who you believe) has been to dump plans for an emissions trading scheme. Global climate change what? Well, we’re not going to commit to anything while those other countries aren’t committing to anything!

Uh ... sorry. I thought this was the rant thread for a moment.

Good point.

I actually very much enjoyed the UK (for the most part) when I was there several years back, but it was a fairly brief trip, and I don't think I would particularly want to live there.

Yes, it is good, but so far a bit of a one-off. The sequel is alright but not as good. But the Lies is of itself brilliant.

Agreed. I just finished the follow-up. The lies of Locke Lamora was awesome (despite my fondness for the baddies), while Red sails under red skies... It was still pretty good, but I thought it was very oddly edited and arranged, and lacked that special something that the first book had. The first is an A+, while the second is a solid B.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

On call this weekend; may or may not be around. Allready Saturday looks like a total b@%%# of a day.

The Exchange

Bank holiday Monday means this is a family weekend coupled with DIY and celebrating getting older and greyer. Posting will be a bit sparse I'm guessing.

Oso will sleep with as many native girls as he can lay his hands on, preferably big mammas.

I AM THE LORD OF ALL HELLFIRE!!!!!

Three day weekends are way overhyped.

ROFLMAO!

I looked at Stiggy's profile.....

it starts out
"About Stiggy.....Stiggy is a goon in heathansson's campaign....."

so then I'm like my face hurts then I read

"xp.....crap I don't know" and my f*@@ing chair broke...

These are some fun characters. Gittik and Stig's backgrounds make me feel woefully inadequate.

ROFLMAO!

Aw man!
That's exactly like me! Except I wasn't honest enough to actually put it on my PC sheet! ;)

Ah,... good times! That's what this game is about, having fun.

Sometimes you want to indulge in heavy role-playing,... :)

And SOMETIMES you just wanna f!@#-ing kill something! ;P

Guess what mood Elgan is in right now?,... Go ahead,... guess,... ;P

Cool!

My anecdotal testimony: the first one seems to usually take forever, the next ones come popping out timely it seems.

But what do I know? I'm not statistically valid enough for teh interwebz.

Mine is, I've just got the okay to game all day 5th June. As for the tough love, getting tired is a common theme round here too. Probably going to get more common, but I try to use the pbp's as a break. DnD is a cheap way of altering reality and visiting other places.

Star Wars Day is notable for one thing, its my birthday and the lads in my games have just got 44xp to reflect that. Enough for one of them to level up!

Do you think we should spread out a bit before the slaads bring the fire again? How much damage did they do that round....Of course I can't channel if you are more than 30ft from Oso. Tricky.

Cheers
