Liberty's Edge

Here is the armor text. The text for the grenades and equipment is in the SRD. Also, the DR from the skeletal implant should change to DR/ballistic, any DR/- you get from feats or class features stacks with both.

If anybody wants to drop out now is the time. We will start very soon.

Orbital Drop-Ship Trooper Armor
The armor worn by the elite ODSTs is the best body protection the UNSC has to offer. It comes in three variations, light, medium, and heavy. Each set comes equiped with the following gadgets as standard issue.

  • Heads-Up-Display: An integrated HUD displays the information provided by the equipment and sensors built into the ODST armor as well as providing the display for weapon scopes.
  • Motion Tracker: If a creature within 25m moved, used a weapon or piece of equipment, or doged an attack, during (or after) it's last turn, you can pinpoint it's location even through thin walls and smoke or fog. This does not give you line of sight and you still suffer the miss chance from opponents you can not see.
  • GPS Reciver: This device allows you to determine your exact location in relation to an orbiting device, usually on a sattelite or a starship. If you also know the coordinates of a location, you can plot a course to that location with out making Survival checks to avoid becoming lost.
  • Comm System: Allows you to communicate with anyone transmiting on your frequency. This device is equipped with a scanner that will find any transmissions available. However, some transmissions may be encripted and need an IFF code to decifer. A portable computer can be used in conjunction with a comm system to decifer the encripted IFF code.
  • Medical Sensors: These sensors monitor your vital signs and give anyone making Treat Injury checks on the wearer of the armor a +5 equipment bonus.
  • Weapon Sensor Integration: Displays information about your weapon, such as remaining ammo, on your HUD.

  • Encumbrance: 14m

Heavy

  • Damage Reduction: 6/energy

Liberty's Edge

Sorry for not posting this in the above post.

Each set of armor has three weapon slots. One slot is a sidearm slot and can hold 1 small weapon and the maximum ammo listed for that weapon. Two slots are longarm slots and can hold 1 medium or 1 large weapon and the max ammo listed for that weapon each. You can carry more ammo than the max ammo, but it must be carried in your back pack.

If any body has any resonable requests for equipment, let me know.

Reading the above it seems we may need a portable computer to decrypt IFF codes...

Is this so?

Whether or not we need it for other purposes would depend on what you have planned for us.

I'm still here, don't fill my spot! I would like to call dibs on the sniper position. It would fit my character better then a all out melee fighter, I would like a spotter if anyone would volunteer.

I'm all updated with the new weapons and armor. Dan 623 has a personal philosophy that one well placed shot can be more effective then a hole bunch of random burst shots.

My favorite sniper's motto:

"Don't bother running, you'll only die tired."

Happy to be the spotter, I'm not much good for outright combat and I can always juice up my Spot skill. The only problem is that my wisdom bonus is nothing to write home about. Anyone else?

I love that saying! You might read Dan 623 saying that sometimes!

not so much on the spotting for now...

when i start to get my advanced class and its improved skill list/skill points, i should be good for that, too.

although it will likely be better if i am not in a static position too much...

and sometimes, a burst of semi-random bullets (or a whole freaking lot of em) are sometimes exactly what you need.

updated all stats/abilities...

need to get that battle rifle attack bonus up, somehow...

I shouldn't be in the front lines, that and I have the skill points to throw at spot.

Cool! I hope we are effective.

oh, almost forgot to ask. Do the melee damage stats on each of the weapons apply if I pimp slap someone with my gun?
