Alright, as most of you know, I live with my parents and am headed to Georgia in September to go to college. Two days ago, my dad got a call from his boss saying that he was being transferred to Georgia in three weeks.
So:
- He's moving to Atlanta, which is only two hours away from Savannah (where I'm going).
- He's leaving his car in Ticonderoga, which means I don't have to borrow other people's to get to work.
- I'm going to have family living in-state, so tuition for SCAD will be less.
- My dad's close to retiring, so around the time I finish college, he'll be moving back to New York.
Weird s!!$. It's really good that he's mellowed out in his old age, because if he was an a+@!&~+, I don't know how I'd survive college.

The Tigers of LSU are going up against Texas in the last three games of the College World Series - starting tomorrow. Two excellent teams, so it should be a great series.

My girlfriend has a compulsion to name everything. We had a plant named Murray for a while, too.Steve the Squatter (he's a plant someone abandoned on our door step)....Whew! For a second there, I thought you had some weird arrangement with a homeless dude.
