Next Wednesday's gonna be sweet, sweet silliness. Wipeout! followed by I survived A Japanese Gameshow.

I remember the first time I was in Japan and watched TV. Crazy stuff!

Silver Crusade

I saw Artie Lange at the airport. I don't know if that's a good thing or not...

Liberty's Edge

This falls more into the "bizarre" category, but there are good elements.

Alright, as most of you know, I live with my parents and am headed to Georgia in September to go to college. Two days ago, my dad got a call from his boss saying that he was being transferred to Georgia in three weeks.

So:
- He's moving to Atlanta, which is only two hours away from Savannah (where I'm going).
- He's leaving his car in Ticonderoga, which means I don't have to borrow other people's to get to work.
- I'm going to have family living in-state, so tuition for SCAD will be less.
- My dad's close to retiring, so around the time I finish college, he'll be moving back to New York.

Weird s!!$. It's really good that he's mellowed out in his old age, because if he was an a+@!&~+, I don't know how I'd survive college.

My favorite show not being canceled!

Long Live "Chuck"!

Richard Shindell's new album is out!

Now that I've got family in-state, my already-reduced SCAD tuition is now down to about $16,000 for freshman year. That's down about $11,000, factoring in scholarship money. I'm pretty psyched.

Going to PaizoCon and come back alive... damn American Airlines!

Getting the Wayfinder fanzine out and available for download.

Congratulations! And I see by your profile that you live in Jersey. I'm in Philly, so maybe I'll take you up on that offer....

Mmmmm......wedding cake.

Congratulations, Yoda :)

I was glad to meet you saturday at the Strat, by the way...

The Tigers of LSU are going up against Texas in the last three games of the College World Series - starting tomorrow. Two excellent teams, so it should be a great series.

Of course, GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Liberty's Edge

I got to spend all of yesterday with my girlfriend after not seeing her for a while.

Liberty's Edge

Watching the tower on the University of Texas campus lit up, all orange and pretty, windows strategically lit to display a "1" after we kick some bug eatin', gumbo swillin', fake frog bootie...

HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!!

Should be a good series, though. Two most dominant programs of the last 20 years, after all!

Good Luck, LSU (but I hope you lose, sorry) :)

I've got a decent job, good friends, and a woman that loves me, and I'm going to college in the fall.

Thanks to everyone for helping me get my life on track.

And, you're going to be in Georgia, which means heaven is a mere 793 miles to the west (assuming you're going to be near Atlanta)! :)

Silver Crusade

I extended my stay in Italy for four more days!

I wouldn't mind seeing this go to a game three - more exciting that way.

Liberty's Edge

Yeah, I'd like it to go three as well, but that's just so Louisianans can save some money in this difficult economy by salting their gumbo with their tears...

That's OK, you Texans need all the tears you can get if all this talk I hear of drought down there is true....

Yeah, we need rain pretty badly, actually.

I'd send you some of mine if I could. Philly has been getting tagged at least 2-3 days a week for the last month. I hardly have chances to cut my grass!

Liberty's Edge

I don't think it's rained here in almost a month and a half. I usually don't have to water Steve the Squatter (he's a plant someone abandoned on our door step), but here lately, I have to give him a glass a day...

My wife names her cars. She tried to name mine as well, but I resisted.

Yeah, our car is named Peter. Peter is having major invasive surgery right now, though (major engine rebuild).

I walked the three miles from town back to my house today, in 36 minutes. When I was in my teens, I used to be able to do so in 28 minutes. So even though I'd not walked much in between 2006 through 2008, I guess my fitness level hasn't declined that much! :-) With more exercise, maybe I'll be able to catch up a little more...
