What do Dungeon and T-Mobile's My Faves have in common?

Me! Kyle Hunter. Last year I did all the cartoon avatars for the phone and website; a couple of the wallpapers too. Erik Mona just got a new phone, and I got to check them out in use for the first time.

Sorry to toot my own horn, but it was a pretty big gig, and the images are otherwise anonymous. I'm always curious how other illustrators/cartographers supplement their income in the real world.

Congrats dude!
Sounds like now's the time to upgrade my phone. How does someone even audition for that job? Any word on a Downer Adult Swim show?

Still waiting for my 'official' green dragon,
GGG

Please don't misunderstand. There is nothing game related--just vaguely Downer-ish "hip young people".

I really sorta had doubted it was Downer-related, but I did think I might get my Downer two cents in (and my sneaky avatar request). Downer's so-non-mainstream, but that's part of the strip's cool factor. Young hip people on the other hand are pretty much definition always hip. And that's okay too. Regardless you are out there, and if T-mobile means more free time to devote to that Downer feature-length movie, more power.

Good hunting,
GGG

PS Keep those young hip people off the damn grass. Us formerly hip not as young people need our niche too.

I hope you were able to slip Downer (or his likeness) in there somewhere! Way to go!
