bump

so how about it?

Nope; the index needs to be proofed and edited and laid out and updated and all that; it's in no real shape to be online in time for the #138 supplement.

Free, online, searchable index current through 137 is available here: http://www.paladinpgm.com/wyrm/

Yeah, now that's what I'm talkin' about. A searchable index with links to the download maps and handouts would be great. Much better than a printed list that is outdated a month later. I'm constantly searching through old dungeon mags looking for a transitional adventure, a side-trek, or a cool location to rip off for a special encounter. An index like this would be invaluable.
Please add one to the site!
thanks,

Does anyone know of a similar index for Dragon?

I'd like to see an online index, but not as a PDF. I'd rather have an interactive tool (with the ability to search on a variety of criteria, like author, character level, keyword, date, etc.)

Any printed index (even an online PDF file) will be instantly out of date as soon as next month's issue comes out. An "interactive web tool" index (as part of the paizo web site) will always be up-to-date, and provide all the necessary functionality anyone could ever need (including the ability to list all adventures ever printed, in chronological order - so people who really want a hardcopy can print it themselves).

This kind of exists already, as far as one can search through the back issue area... it just needs a little fine tuning.

Take a look at the Dragondex:

Exactly what Wyrm's Hoard does. And it has the advantage that users can update the entries, we don't have to wait for someone else to do it. Speaking of which, Hoard is now uptodate with issue 138.

I hate to threadjack, but could some kind person point me to one of those now obsolete pdfs, or tell me the name and issue of the adventure with the Moebius strip nexus and the book that brings an exponentially growing force of monsters from the plane of Radiance after the acursed? I think the book had an amulet on the cover, too.

[Edit]
The Curse and the Quest, #26?

I maintain an index of Dungeon magazine as a spreadsheet (both Open Office and Excel formats). It goes back to issue #82 and I've updated it with the contents of issue #138.

It can be found here: http://thentao.com/dungeon-index.html

That's the one... I believe the monsters are Shimmering Glades or something-or-other, and the PCs have an opportunity to get a couple of uber magic items in that adventure: an amulet that can become a Mordenkainen's Sword and a ring that ages you an hour for every day... something like that.

How much information is / was going to be in the index? Is it going to be Issue / Adventure / Level, or with a sentance on the adventure, or what? I was very disappointed that it wasn't in the current issue of Dungeon. However, upon reading that it would be 16 pages in length, I can understand.

Hey Fake Healer, do you have a jpg of the Good Fortune? I'd love to see it.

I made it, printed it and never saved it. I have a hard copy of the battlemap and that is all I needed. If you want I could try to scan it and email it to you but it isn't all that amazing. I did post a dungeon on the messageboards over at Dundjinni called the Dungeon of Symbols which was one of my first dungeons.
