I've read the entry and clicked on the link with the graphic on Kickstarter and just want to be sure: If I pledge $100 am I getting miniatures or just the opportunity to buy minis at a later date?
If you pledge $100, then when they ship (around next March, since they have to make the molds), you get all the minis that are shown as the Vampire level.

The videos do a good job of explaining the process make sure you watch them.
The basics is if you pledge $100 you can select the Vampire Level Reward, if you want that and some of the addition options then you will need to calculate you pledge based on the Vampire Level + the dollar amount for the option you want. At the end of the Kickstart Reaper with survey you for what you want to spend your money on.

Yes it is too soon. Check the FAQ on the Kickstarter page. They have said that there will be a survey following the close of the Kickstarter to specify what options you want.
Example:
You want the $100 vampire level plus the $10 Ebonwrath Dragon. Pledge $110 now and choose vampire level. After the close of the Kickstarter get the survey and tell them the what the extra $10 is for.

I would not rely upon that interpretation of what you thInk will be possible with the pledge manager. If you want, you can take that risk all you like, but enticing others to do something which Reaper has not stated categorically that you will be able to do is not being helpful, rather, it is the opposite of help You do appreciate that, right? I urge others NOT TO RELY UPON THIS VIEW.

This is a quote from reaper bryan:
Bryan Stiltz less than a minute ago@xxx: I think there's a misunderstanding, and please allow me to clarify:
If you pledged Vampire or Undertaker level, our Pledge Manager will honor all prices precisely as given here, whether you add in the $$ for the rewards before or after the expiration time. Persons who choose to NOT pledge Vampire will have the ability to get some Options listed here as "Vampire Only", but it is THEY who will be given a higher list price.
This is not to punish Vampires who cannot be here for the finale, but to give Non-Vampires a chance, while still making your Vampire pledge the best possible value.
Does that help? If not, I'd be happy to go into greater detail

If you don't trust Reaper to allow it, then I certainly don't recommend availing yourself of it. Kickstarter is not for everyone after all.
What Steel wind is saying is that the increasing from 1 to 100 afterwards probably won't get you the vampire level, as Bryan Is quoted in the one above you, it'll be more expensive to get it in 15 and a half hours. The additional money element is designed to allow you to add more extras, not more levels.

Using our post Kickstarter Pledge Manager website (if you pledged you will get a link in you backer survey e-mail later) you can make additions and adjustments (you can't lower your pledge).
We will also post the link as an update to our Kickstarter. It may be two weeks from now so keep checking. We have to get and then assimilate the Kickstarter data.
You can sign up there. You can also use pay-pal too.
If you are signing up new and you don't select the Vampire or Undertaker Level you will have to pay more for options then what they were originally listed at, but they will be available to you. If you did pledge and you didn't pledge Vampire or Undertaker or don't upgrade to one, the same applies.

They'll send you a survey later once they've worked everything out. It could take a couple of weeks though.
Edit to add: Relevant quote from their FAQ.
After the project ends we will send out a survey to all backers. At that time you will be able to select the specific Options you have funded.

Reaper will either send a survey for you to indicate what add-ons you selected, or will have everyone enter their pledge into their own pledge manager interface. They expect to have it ready in two weeks and will post a link to in on the Kickstarter page as well as email it to all backers.

There is a side case of somebody that pledged more that $100 and selected a level other than Vampire in the radio button list. Those people "qualify" for vampire, by virtue of the $$ amount covering it already.
Whether you'll be able to pledge $1 and "buy-up" I cannot say, because I'm not the one writing it, nor am I involved in that decision. like the decision on how to calculate international shipping - I abstained from that, as not my specialty.
