We have all witnessed the amazing feats that can be accomplished through the support of Pathfinder fans, and the use of social medias. Through this Kickstarter campaign we, as a body of gamers, are a testament of what can be accomplished under one vision and the support of one another.
I do have some concerns regarding incentives for "low-level" supporters. Since I am going to utilize the Thornkeep book in PFS, the incentive of signatures does not thrill me much nor does the book plate as I will most likely use that book to the fullest. I was hoping for something small that can be given to all supporters since we passed the 3000 backers point and are on the verge of 3500 supporters. Whether it be a custom d20, a decal, a lanyard, whatever it may be; just something that represents the support of all backers and not the ones that spend $75 to $100 minimum.
I do apologize if this comes across as greedy or selfish as that is not my intention. Thank you for letting me have a voice on these boards...

will the book be available any other way or do I have to risk divorce and pledge 50$ ?
It's likely, but there is no guarantee. They'll be printing more than they need, but not necessarily lots more.
There also hasn't been any word on pricing other than the usual comments about not wanting to devalue the commitment of those who paid before release. (so I doubt it will be as cheap as paizo sourcebooks usually are).

Of course this go-se computer doesn't work with the kickstarter page at work...
<3 If that reference references what I think you're referencing, I love you.
If not... well you're alright. ;)
I FINALLY GOT TO PLEDGE TODAY! I only get paid once a month, and my pay day happened to be on the last day of the fundraiser. I wanted to go for the level that nets me the print version of the book, but there is also the ARG coming up this month...
At any rate, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of this project!

Here, let me torment you...
The $100 level will get you two flip mats, and the T shirt, I figure with math, that product more than covers the diffence in levels.
<-- Evil, ask either of my ex-wives.

I'd take it as a kindness if you didn't...

Oh... Pfht. No anguish here. Flip mats would be awesome, but I can live without. $100 is just too far out of my minimum wage, college level budget.
And you're not evil! You're just scaley! ;)

Yeah... I swore I was signing up just to be supportive. Then... they kept offering me cool stuff. My pledge just kept creeping up the more they put in for stretch goals. I was already interested in a Crystal Frasier designed T-shirt... once they put the flip-mats in there... that was it, I was in. I'd complain that I need a job with more $, but who am I kidding, I'd just buy more gaming stuff.
Someone help me... I have an addiction.

Heheh
That's how I got to $100, in small $25 steps :)
And of course I had to pledge ... what, a Pathfinder book that I wouldn't own?!? Preposterous!
Now to figure out how to pay the mortgage this month :)

One of the mistakes that many Kickstarters make is that a significant percentage of the money they raise ends up going to cover postage and other "hidden costs" of reward fulfillment. It's very deliberate that none of our rewards involve shipping anything until the $50 level...

Oh, I wish. But, well....the shirt and flip mats aren't worth it. If anything, I would have upped to $75 to get it signed. But, that is what conventions are for.

Vic, will we be able to pay extra for priority international shipping? (and/or be able to bundle the tangible goodies with our subscriptions?)

You'll definitely be able to bundle stuff with your subs. Not immediately sure quite how we could implement the "paying extra for faster" part, but it *might* be possible.

Cheers. (I was thinking something as simple as dumping it in the sidecart and then choosing "ship as soon as possible" which from the sounds of it, I'll be able to do myself - I wouldn't expect any discount on the priority shipping option).
Congratulations, by the way. Must have been an exciting time in the office. :)

8,500 shy of 300K with 2 hours to go. It would be pretty sweet to make 300.000, even if there are no extra stretch goals - of course, a bonus at 300K would be sweeter still.
But the again - the flipmats already made me go from $15 to $100 - no way I'm paying more. I have to save for the RotRL anniversary book too.

Did I miss an update somewhere?
"Because we've done so phenomenally, the print version of the Thornkeep book (available if you pledge $75 or more) has grown from a 64-page book to 96—that's the size of one of our Adventure Path volumes!"
I'd understood the [unsigned] print version to be part of the $50 pledge level. Did it get shifted to the $75 level because of the page increase? That doesn't seem to be indicated on the Kickstarter page as of today.

If we hit the $300,000 there will be a new dungeon level added by Gary Gygax! Just kidding, but wouldn't that be awesome!
I was not able to contribute but I feel I have done my part by spreading the word around on social media's. Going from hobby shop to hobby shop spreading the word around. I have been answering people's questions to help them understand what this is all about.
Anyway, this is true testament of fan support. Paizo has treated the fans well, therefor the fans will treat Paizo well with this type of financial support. I can't wait to purchase the Thornkeep book when it comes out. Thanks to the fans the book will be better than ever! I'm sure the MMO will work out well in the end even tho I don't play MMO's. Another certified glorious victory by Paizo and Pathfinder!

If it gets to 300k they better have another stretch bonus :P
No more stretch goals, according to Ryan. They wanted everyone to have this last day to finalize their selection. If they'd kept announcing new stretch goals, there would have been people who weren't able to change their pledge in time, and who then missed out on something they really wanted.
