Keep critical character details at your fingertips with the Starfinder Player Character Folio! This comprehensive character record resource provides room for everything you need to know about your Starfinder Second Edition character’s abilities and exploits.
This sturdy folio’s 16 character-defining pages include:
Expanded space for your hero's ability scores, feats, and class features
A diagram to help fill every item slot, including augmentations!
Room to chronicle your character's achievements, goals, and history.
Quick reference charts to character advancement.
Tons of space to track gear.
Folder-flaps to hold handouts and other documents.
I’m disappointed with this. It’s just the 4 page default sheet cut up, rearranged, and stretched out into 7 pages, with an additional page for inventory. The spell page is legitimately worse, because it’s the same page, but now broken up by lines to use the space less well. The Ancestry and General Feats page doesn’t give you anymore room for bonus feats or Free Archetype or Ancestral Paragon feats. The space for character art is fine, it’s bigger, but is frustratingly cut into by the background being printed at full saturation, as seen in the sample image. Bizarrely, this is the only page printed like this. All other pages have a muted background.
I can’t help but compare it to its 1e counterpart. 1e took a 2 page default character sheet and gave you a 16 page character folio, giving you so much room to write things down. It added pages of player reference to the folder cover, whereas this one only gives you art of the Iconics. It had an entire page for augments and upgrades, a page for character backgrounds including family members and history. A place to record your base and sketch it out on a grid, record your faction relationships. A place to record achievements, notable NPCs. An entire page for your campaign log, a whole page for notes and SFS info. There was a Drone page and a Starship page, and yes I know those rules aren’t out yet, but animal companions are a thing and so are familiars (there’s an entire sidebar about them on page 202!).
I can’t recommend this product for $15. It doesn’t give enough to justify it. For $10, the pdf could be worth it if you’re looking for more room to write and more space to record your inventory. If you’re planning on printing a lot of these. I just. Cannot wrap my head around what happened with this, when they already had a blueprint for what it could (should) be.
Also, the product description is just wrong.
"Room to chronicle your character's achievements, goals, and history." This doesn't exist. I mean, technically you could put it in the "notes" section, but there are no specific spaces for these things.
"Quick reference charts to character advancement." There are precisely 0 charts in this product.
"A diagram to help fill every item slot, including augmentations!" There are no diagrams either. There's space to fill item slots and augmentations, but this bullet point is misleading.

Folios and sheet packs are not the same though. The sheet packs were just that, a pack of individual sheets tailored for each class, whereas folios traditionally are a 16 page character sheet, meant to give you room to record *everything* for one character.

Not the most elegant of solutions, but some browsers, like MS Edge, allow you to add text blocks to PDFs and save them. Cheaper than buying a dedicated editing program and simpler than using, say, Inkscape or Gimp (though you may want to use an image editor to add pictures).
I've used it for everything from filling out government forms to character sheets for various games.
Just got my pdf, and I don't think it's complete? There's no cover, and there are only 8 pages, instead of the 16 mentioned in the description.
As an update for you, Torradin341, in case this isn't resolved before the weekend. I did bring it to the team, and we found two things!
1. You were right in that it is missing the cover page! We're adding this back in, and we'll get it re-uploaded to the site!
2. The folio DOES only have 8 pages, so we'll also update the product page here to accurately reflect this!
Thank you for pointing these things out to us so we can fix them!
