Delving deeper into the ruined prison, the PCs make their way through cell blocks now inhabited by subterranean monsters and undead echoes of the past, before finding themselves in what appears to be an idyllic village where the sun crosses the clouded sky each day. The clueless villagers are being preyed upon by their vampire masters and the PCs must break the spell and ascend into the Broken Palace to remove the threat of Lady Nalushae once and for all.

The Broken Palace is a Pathfinder Adventure for four 4th-level characters. This adventure continues the Shades of Blood Adventure Path, a three-part monthly campaign where a group of adventurers explore a ruined ancient prison to stop a vampiric threat to cover the skies in shadow. This volume also includes a look into the faith of Zura, demon lord of vampires and cannibalism, and a toolbox of new magic items, an ancient relic that replicates the sun, and a selection of devious bloodthirsty monsters.

Deeply loving the cover on this one. The backmatter sounds fun too - first Camazotz, now Zura. I wonder if that new vampire god Nin will be part of the backmatter for the third book? Who knows.

Had a lot of fun writing this one, even though I had a freak out in the middle and lost about 8,000 words of progress and had to rewrite it (after spending a few days in a writing funk about the loss of an entire weekend of work).

Would Knights of Last Wall characters be appropriate for this? Will there be remastered material from Book of the Dead in the AP?

Big fan of Zura!

In that there's plenty of undead in a vampire-themed Adventure Path, any PC who is about fighting undead would make sense, Knights of Lastwall included, but the story doesn't lean into much deep Lastwall lore at all; it takes place over in Azlant after all.

No remastered material from Book of the Dead in this adventure. There might be some monsters in the other two, but the Adventure Path is for sure not one where undead PCs make a lot of sense.

Is this book releasing in April or May? This page says April, but the release schedule page that hyperlinks this page says early May.

The date at the bottom of the description is the street date, or release date. The vague month under the price is the expected month shipping is expected to start for preorders/subs.

So it will start to ship late April to arrive early May!

Can't seem to comment on book 3's product page, but I was right about Nin!

Liberty's Edge

The setting of this adventure in the Ruins of Azlant, and the nod towards some dark bat god, seems to be a raise dead cast towards (but not directly at) Savage Tide and Zotzilaha.

I must admit, the more standard traditional gothic Vampire appeals to me more, but ... we'll see.
