A Pathfinder Society Quest designed for 1st- through 4th-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours.
An Aldori swordlord who fought alongside Pathfinders years ago is looking for a way to push her students harder. She issues a challenge to Marcos Farabellus, the Master of Swords, boasting that her most promising young pupils can defeat any Marcos has trained. She stakes her pride as a teacher and a powerful weapon she used during the Fifth Crusade on the outcome. Marcos both believes such a relic, taken to the very heart of the Worldwound, would be an excellent addition to the Society's vaults and that the PCs are the perfect students on which to stake his own pride. The PCs must do their utmost to justify the faith he has placed in them and win a great victory-- and perhaps a new ally-- for the Pathfinder Society.

I like the various challenges and chances to interact with the NPCs, and this is a good fit for groups that enjoy non-combat content.
If have he bad feelings that I am going to compare other scenarios with this one, but not enough time to explain how and why this one succeeds.
If your group of players is mostly looking for a traditional dungeon crawl and lots of combat Quest 15 might be a better fit.
This adventure can be a bit short if your players do not enjoy spending a lot of time on RP with the various NPCs and run a bit long if they do, so plan accordingly.
It's a chill low stakes diplomatic mission with NPCs who have enough description that they are a delight to roleplay. The mission makes sense, the challenges are largely fun and flavorful. (The poetry slam is a bit of a weak spot)
6 different challenges make it a pleasure to replay and allowing players to pick the challenges ensure they are picking something they can have a good time with.
I was hoping for something a little more than an "intro-skill challenge - encounter" formula that bounties have. Having options for skill challenges is nice for a repeatable, but it still feels very short (certainly not 2-3 hrs) and doesn't justify 2xp value imo.
Also given that there's no way to lose reputation here or lose a character, the combat could have been harder. As is, it is laughably easy.
Just stumbled onto this, and this sounds just wonderful. A playtime of 2-3 hours means that my group will probably take 3-5 and that‘s just perfect, as scenarios are usually too long for us to finish in one evening. What are the changes you‘re introducing to quests, generally? Very interested in this new format.
I know that this was mentioned somewhere, but I don't recall where the information is at the moment. Are these new quests worth 1 or 2 XP? I'm fairly certain that they aren't worth a whole 4 XP.
