Out of curiosity, why is this a purplish red in the image instead of the Green the other APs are?
I don't think AP's have a "set" color. The original ruby phoenix books had the purple color scheme. Strength of Thousands have a beige and reddish brown color scheme. Age of ashes was red. The Blood Lords books have been black with a gold trim on the edges, with grey in the center with the image.

Any free bonus pdf offer, similar to Abomination Vaults?
It should be our default that Pathfinder Adventure Path subscribers who preorder this will get a complimentary PDF, since it is not a part of the subscription. (The exception was Kingmaker since it had a crowdfunding start.) I'll confirm with the web-store team on Monday.

Great!
Just want to check and see if this was confirmed. If so, I'll preorder asap.
Was it confirmed that a complimentary PDF will be provided for AP subscribers that preorder this? I still don't see anything on the page. Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. We didn't get one for Abomination Vault. And if you check the AP Subscription page, this isn't listed as one of the upcoming products in the subscription.
Historically, these hardback compilations are not included in AP subscriptions, but if you preorder the hardback you do, so far, get a free PDF as well.

If you were an AP subscriber and you pre-ordered the AV compilation, you got a free PDF. I just want to confirm the same thing is happening here.

As I understand it, this is standard operating procedure for us. I am 1) verifying this case, and 2) seeking clarifying text in the product description. Talking to CS and our Store to make sure I'm not wrong.
There seems to be an issue with the single file pdf for this. It shows as only 141 bytes in my downloads and is corrupted when I download and try to open.

Please please please let this AP get an official foundry module for purchase! XD
No word on that at this time, but we are in discussions.
By chance, any updates on the possibility of this getting a Foundry module for purchase with this release?
Do we have any new information regarding this?
I have not heard any new information on this. The team that up to now have been doing the porting of old APs is currently working on Kingmaker, and that might take a while (couple months). I wouldn't expect any news until we get at least close to the release of that beefy AP.
We've not made any announcement regarding Pathfinder Fists of the Ruby Phoenix for Foundry VTT. Resources are currently committed to Gatewalkers and Kingmaker. Never say never, but plates are full.

Very much a shame. Really hope that does happen, otherwise I guess I won't be running it. Foundry integration is really important to me. I recognize plates are full though. Just hope y'all can find room.
Hao Jin was established in the previous edition as being a mythic character, and we don't currently have rules for how that might look in 2nd edition. Similarly, we built kaijus to be level 28–30 creatures that could challenge mythic creatures. Without those rules set in stone, we can't really responsibly publish statistics for these sorts of NPCs and creatures, and so we find other ways to represent them as needed.
Okay, thanks James. Looking forward to when Paizo starts working on Mythic rules so we can get statblocks for both Mythic NPC's as well as the monsters of legend that are the Kaiju! :D

I hope the foundry modules sell good enough so we get more for older APs. After seeing the quality of current releases I don't want to run games without them, it's just too good. I will personally wait on buying Fists of the Ruby Phoenix until there's a foundry option to buy both PDF and Foundry module as a bundle
This is a bit of a necro, but I was wondering what the story was with the actual cover; since there seem to be 2 versions? One is the image on this page with the deep purple and Adventure Path on the book, but I've also seen images of a book with a lighter purple, a Phoenix emblem on it, and just "Fists of the Ruby Phoenix" in a stylized font
