The biggest Flip-Mats in history just got bigger! Introducing Pathfinder Flip-Mat: Enormous Forest, a brand-new amazingly giant Flip-Mat bigger than any Paizo has produced before! Measuring a titanic 30" by 46" when unfolded, this exciting new map presents a sprawling section of forest on each side—one side dense and primeval, and the other cut through with a shaded road just perfect for ambushing player characters. Spread this woodland across your tabletop and watch your players' eyes pop out at the enormity of it all! Your player character's biggest problems just got even bigger!
A special coating on each Flip-Mat allows you to use wet erase, dry erase, AND permanent markers with ease! Removing permanent ink is easy—simply trace over any permanent mark with a dry erase marker, wait 10 seconds, then wipe off both marks with a dry cloth or paper towel. Each Enormous Flip-Mat measures 30" x 46" unfolded, and 8" x 10" folded.
On tabletops across the world, the Flip-Mat Revolution is changing the way players run their fantasy roleplaying games! Why take the time to sketch out ugly scenery on a smudgy plastic mat when dynamic encounters and easy cleanup is just a Flip away?

I'd buy this, because we really need an enormous forest map, but you continue to put rivers in every forest map.
Also, we have a lot of forests with roads, how about a forest that is just ... forest, with slopes and other difficult terrain? Check out your local forest, it's almost all difficult terrain, yet our maps look they are flat combat fields.
PROS - It's big. I love how big it is, and look forward to more maps of this size.
CONS - It has rivers on both sides that bisect the maps and take up major parts of the maps. This has been an ongoing theme with Paizo and their forest maps - and an ongoing complaint from the community. Rivers are major features that constrain the field and limit the functionality of the map, making them very situational. A river on a map here and there is OK - a river on every side of every map is not OK. I (and from the comments I have seen over and over, many others) would have liked to see at least one side without a river. The other details on the map are very well done - trails, clearings, rocks, structures - and are interesting and not so large as to stop the flow of the entire map.
YES, IT IS! As a big fan of the flip mats or any maps! This works GREAT for me! Now, just need this showing a large keep. Walls, buildings inside (stables, barracks, well, parade grounds etc) Can't wait to have this!
HI! I was wondering if we could possible get this also as a basic. gray on one side and green on the other. Have been using the Mega Mat for years and now when I write on it and wipe off, leaves a shadow of what was down. Have been using Crayola Washable Markers and worked before. Not sure if Crayola changed something or why not coming off? The flip maps always wipe off and like the smaller size basic. Just would like something LARGER! THANKS!
Not just super big -- they're going to be TITANIC! ;P
But, seriously, if that placeholder image is any indication, the map is going to look fantastic. I just hope there won't be any (wide) rivers, stone circles or other landmarks depicted on the map, because IME most forest fights take place on winding paths and/or clearings, deep inside the forest.

Just my pair of coppers; our groups barely have enough table space for standard flip-mats surrounded by character sheets, dice trays, spell cards, dinner, etc. This is going to be double the standard flip-mat, much like the map in the One Shot Head Shot The Rot that I just drew on 2 basics. I'm already worried how I'm going to fit that on the table with afore mentioned accoutrements. I may skip in this one even though it looks really nice and the thought of it is very intriguing.
