A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 7th- through 10th-level characters.
The legendary explorer Jelev Rasheen was one of the first to set off into the Drift in search of fame and fortune. After her mysterious disappearance, dozens of alleged children, partners, and adventuring companions began spreading one final tale about Rasheen: that she was last seen commanding a fleet of ships laden with treasure. Over the years many adventurers tried to trace her footsteps to find Rasheen's final resting place and, of course, her treasure. The Starfinder Society isn't above seeking out Rasheen's riches. Over the past few years Radaszam of the Acquisitives faction sent teams of Starfinders to search for Rasheen's resting palce, using coordinates decrypted from a beacon in the Vast. Now, the time has come to venture to the third set of coordinates. The coordinates lead to a desert world in the Vast covered by a sprawling necropolis. What secrets (and treasures!) will the Starfinders uncover within? Is this Rasheen's final resting place, or something else entirely?

I wrote a longer review, but the system ate it so you’re stuck with this one instead. Sorry.
This ended up being my favorite year 4 scenario after playing with a great group and an AWESOME GM. It’s definitely not a combat heavy scenario but if you’re into NPC interaction, investigation, and making jokes about corporations in space (you thought your retirement plan sucked?) it’s a lot of fun.
My only complaint is that the Rasheen connection was pretty week, and there were plenty of better reasons for Starfinders to be involved than chasing a beacon. This one could have easily (and should have) stood alone as opposed to being loosely coupled to the rest of the series.
This feels like a much lower level scenario. You go to a place. someone explains things, there's only 2 fights. Neither the fight or the plot have a whole lot going on or anything for the characters to interact with.
So is the tradition of facing random crocodilian beast going to continue here or has that Rasheen tradition ended?
I predict the sphinx is a red herring. It'll ask a riddle, the answer to which will, of course, be "crocodilians" "space-crocodilians," and then boom - roll for initiative as cybercrocs and augmentgaters pour forth :D
