A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.
Called to the city of Oppara, a group of Pathfinders quickly find themselves assigned to investigate a clandestine fighting tournament taking place in the city streets. However, there’s more to this tournament than meets the eye, and the PCs must quickly uncover the true motives behind those holding for these brutal bouts. Can the PCs learn the truth before they find themselves too caught-up in the event to escape?

I had the chance to play this recently and I had a pretty good time, but that is often based on the GM and my party members.
I saw some things that left me not super pleased, and while we did waste some time doing shenanigans, I might want a bit more. Our group was not set up very well for this, so we did not manage to learn some things and didn't make some new friends.
In general, I am looking forward to reading and GMing it and being able to provide some more comprehensive feedback after that. Right now it would be a 3,5 ^^
This is a solid low-level adventure, where time and care has been taken over not just the encounters but also setting the scene.
The adventure itself is fairly straightforward, and I think this would be a particularly good introduction for newer players. The initial encounters are quite straightforward, and it builds up to a fairly challenging encounter - it's a nice build-up and the difficulty definitely moves in the right direction as you go through the adventure.
And there's a lot of character added - some of the encounters could be described as speed-bumps, as in most adventures, but here some thought has been paid to describing who you're up against to give a little more character and life to everything. In fact the whole scenario includes these elements - little things mentioned or happening in the background that don't really change what's happening but help bring life to the adventure.
And don't forget - nobody's forcing you to kill anyone, that's up to the players. ;)
After a long time this is a good scenario in tier 1-4 that you can run without having too many problems.
This will be added to my convention reportoire for the forseeable future.
As this has easy forst combats to get new players into the system and the story not being bound by any gloarion specific tidbits but easily understandable.

"they looks awesome, I would love to look like that."
Could also reference the big air of confidence that is exuded. The "I'm fabulous, and your grief won't affect me!" air.
