Swashbuckler's dodge / dodge

Rules Questions

Can I assume that the two do not stack with each other, but unfortunately, swashbucklers dodge does not count towards combat feats. So, does this mean I would have too take dodge for the feat chain into mobility and such, and just accept that I will just ignore the bonus from dodge?

If I recall dodge bonuses stack.

Kewl. I thought you could only get one bonus from a type, like dodge, natural arm or and such.

Dodge bonuses are an exception I believe.

dodge is the exception. Dodge bonuses stack, other types don't.

Bonuses are numerical values that are added to checks and statistical scores. Most bonuses have a type, and as a general rule, bonuses of the same type are not cumulative (do not “stack”)—only the greater bonus granted applies.

The important aspect of bonus types is that two bonuses of the same type don't generally stack. With the exception of dodge bonuses, most circumstance bonuses, and racial bonuses, only the better bonus of a given type works. Bonuses without a type always stack, unless they are from the same source.

Even if Nimble would be a combat feat (and grant its dodge bonus), it still wouldn't qualify for Mobility etc.. The feat name counts here, not the effect.

However, there is at least one feat counting as Dodge (and Mobility) for prerequisites: Defended Movement. It needs Shield Focus and BAB 6 / fighter 4 and comes from Armor Master's Handbook. Should even work for a swashbuckler, thanks to shield spikes. Couldn't find it on either d20PFSRD or Nethys though.

d20pfsrd has that feat here. -- but for some reason that page does not show up in searches. Maybe they are still in the process of adding the Shield Mastery feats to their official pages?
