The pawns need to come out earler, maybe after the second book. At the rate we're going, we'll be done running the Mummy's Mask before the pawns are released!
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber
Given that Paizo uses art from the AP for the Pawns & they don't get all the art that quickly, pretty sure that's never going to happen. As has been stated in the past when other people have made similar statements regarding previous AP's.
What previous pawn collections do I need to own in order to have the complete set necessary for the Mummies Mask Adventure Path? Do I need to buy EVERY Beastiary Pawn set in order for their to be every needed relevant pawn or just select ones?
How have previous AP pawns worked? Have they included everything you need to run the AP in sufficient numbers, or do you need to supplement AP pawns with other material?
Do the bestiary boxes have any/many multiples? Like if Mummy's Mask 1 has a fight with two huecuvas, do I need to buy two Bestiary Boxes for the pair, in addition to the Mummy's Mask pawns?
Say, why is this and the other Adventure Path Pawns listed under Pathfinder RPG in the webstore, alongside Core Rulebook and such, instead of in their respective Adventure Path categories?

They are listed in multiple locations, actually (including the AP category if relevant). But the Pawns were originally tagged with the "Pathfinder RPG" logo, so some are there, while others are in the Pawns category.
Okay, now that you made me check, it appears that WotR Pawns are indeed listed under their AP category as well, but RoW and MM are not. What's the logic behind that? What makes WotR Pawns relevant but RoW and MM not?
Is it intentional that they also remain in the RPG category? I don't see the logic behind that.
Because it's my favorite pawn box. The scale is pretty congruous. The art is fantastic, and the character assortment is superb.
I think Paizo is putting out a Monster Codex Pawn collection next year sometime in the spring or early summer. It's mainly because people want to run campaigns against bigger armies of different creatures - the primary reason I'm going with so many Reign of Winter pawn boxes.
So, got it and my favorite part is finding the commonly encountered Whiptail Centipede in a set...finally. My only disappointment is we need another Ankheg as we are encountering them in many adventures in pairs (Skulls and Shackles 1 and MM 3). Still it was most welcomed set and will serve me well as I run the campaign.
I have purchased the Mummy's Mask Pawn set and have noticed that both sides have just the front view of the creatures. shouldn't one side be the front view and the other side a back view to keep players from getting confused as to which direction the creatures are facing?
Announced! Cover image is a mockup and subject to change.
Just started using this product. Have to admit I'm surprised how many of the creatures from the AP, at least the first volume, are not available as pawns in this package. I would have expected anything non-generic to be a pawn such as a skeletal jackal.
