There were a lot of complaints that King Irovetti's face was terrible. The face on the miniature I received wasn't so bad that I wouldn't use it. I suppose with the randomness of the quality on this miniature some would come out better than others.
There were several figures in this set that were not even close to the paictures shown, but this one takes the cake. What happened to the painters? Drink too much before their shift? I didn't expect it to look exactly the same because I figure they show Paizo the best paint job they can do, but I expect it to come close. This one failed.
Just got this one in on an order I had with several other minis and this one looks terrible. He has no mouth and rest of face is smushed looking. Honestly does no one quality check these minis before they are sent out? I bought specific minis that I really wanted but this one makes me not want to buy singles any more
I've seen three minis of this figure besides the one from my case. All of them have paint globbed on to the figure so heavily that all facial detail is lost. On my mini, the flesh color does not bleed over onto the hair, but on the others I've seen, most of the hair is flesh colored. I can do a repaint to fix color where it is not supposed to be, but I don't know how to strip the thick glop off the mini's face to restore the facial detail. This is a horrible excuse for a rare.
I really wish the the mini looked more like the picture.Facial features are almost completely lacking but armour and cloak look decent.I was hoping the quality would be on par with the heroes mini set but this mini didn't really come close.
If I order this single mini straight from this site, is it going to look like the picture or is it going to be all messed up like the one that came in my sealed case?
Brell, we cannot guarantee the quality of the paint job that you'll receive on the miniatures you order, either singly or in a case. Regrettably, this miniature is one that had more problems than anticipated regarding its appearance, but if you are not satisfied with the version that you receive, please contact customer service regarding a replacement (though again, we can't guarantee the replacement is any better).
