This stunning set features 64 all-new sculpts drawn from the gorgeous art in Paizo's Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path Anniversary Edition, a hardcover collection of the very first Pathfinder campaign! Designed to enhance the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, but suitable for any fantasy roleplaying campaign, these figures raise the bar on prepainted miniatures, setting a new standard of excellence and featuring a wide variety of monsters, NPCs, and heroes from the most popular Pathfinder campaign of all time!

Pathfinder Battles Rise of the Runelords miniatures come in two product configurations: Standard Boosters contain 4 Large, Medium, and Small minis, and Huge Boosters contain 1 Huge mini.

  • Rise of the Runelords Standard Boosters contain 1 Large figure and 3 Medium or Small figures
  • Rise of the Runelords Standard Bricks contain 8 Standard Boosters (32 figures total)
  • Rise of the Runelords Standard Cases contain 4 Standard Bricks (32 Standard Boosters, 128 figures total)
  • Rise of the Runelords Huge Boosters contain 1 Huge figure
  • Rise of the Runelords Huge Cases contain 6 Huge Boosters (6 figures total)
  • Rise of the Runelords Case Bundles contain 1 Standard Case and 1 Huge Case (128 small, medium or large figures and 6 Huge figures)

Purchasers should get no to very few duplicate figures in a brick. Buyers who purchase factory-sealed cases should get a nearly complete set of figures. (As with any randomized product, collation is not guaranteed.)

My ENWorld review on Pathfinder Battles: Rise of the Runelords is now available HERE.

Short strokes: With Pathfinder Battles: Rise of the Runelords, Wizkids has provided a large set of miniatures that offers excellent quality with some truly unique and dramatic figures. All of this is great and well appreciated. The problem with the set -- the only problem -- is the price tag which attaches to all of this.

I also made a Youtube unboxing video and review, which when it has finished uploading should be available HERE. (Warning, the video is lengthy at about 45 mins or so in duration.)

I recently received my case bundle and I loved it. I got at least one of everything, but, not being the GM of our campaign, I don't know which figures I need more of and which ones I have extras of...

Does anyone have a list of the required minis to run the campaign? I can't go flipping the module(s) to figure this out, so I'm hoping someone has compiled something. If anyone had a master list I would be very happy to see it.

I'm doing the same thing and I did find such a list last night, though I was at home on my laptop and right now I'm at work on my phone. I'll see if I can find and post it later toniht

Are you using the anniversary edition or the original 6 books? Some encounters have changed. I think Liz Courts posted a list at one point, but that was for the modules and not for the anniversary edition

For the Pathfinder Paper Minis sets, each part of Rise of the Runelords contains a complete list of the miniatures needed to run it (just click on the spoiler tag). For those particular sets, it would be for the original release as well as the anniversary edition of the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path.

ah yes, I didn't even think of that. The number of paper minis is the max number the AP calls for at one time, so just cross reference which ones have plastic minis and buy the number it lists for them under paper minis. Very helpful, ty lizz:)

Don't see how to post a review, but I'll put a post here.

the sculpts are awesome. I received at least 1 of each model in the booster case. I would have liked to have had more 'commons' and less 'uncommons' but I get that you need at least 2 uncommons for them to be 'uncommon' and not rare.

That being said I have a few that I got 3 of, and a couple of rares I got 2 of. Out of the commons I got 2 that only had 1 in the case. The Wraith only had 1 and the Kobold Champion only had 1. For 'commons' they feel pretty rare. I should be getting my 'Huge' booster and Rune Giant later this week. Got 3 named Seoni's and Shalelus and Tsutos. Getting 3 named seems a lil ridiculous but again, that is what happens with random mini's in blind boxes. Just glad I got a full set :D

Got my Huge case and Ruin Giant today.

Rune Giant looks fantastic!

I was hoping for 2 Karzoug Statues, because that would be awesome, but I am happy with 2 Storm Giants and 2 Treachery demons, 1 Karzoug Statue and 1 Lamia Harridan

The Demon and the Giant feels more generic and I can think of situations where I want to pull 2 at once to make things interesting.

Great set :D
