Are you currently gaming?
If so, what remote table top system are you using?
Right now using primary Discord with a voice channel....a dice bot and usually a channel for notes and such. No map for combat.
For my Friday game Discord for voice and a thread here in play by post for dice rolling...Though I might suggest a discord bot for that group.
I was invite to a game over on Roll 20 so I am looking into that...seeing how it runs on my tablet.

How is it?
Any tips?
I am going to explore it soon...
It's pretty simple. I suggest playing around with it a bit. Their was few things it took me a bit to figure out. Their is a bunch of guides on the internet for it. The one thing I have to say is I can't figure out why anyone would need to get the premium version. IT provides more images for the tokens but you can upload your own. I've only ran two sessions with it so far so I don't have any other tips for you yet.

You might want Premium if you want to run an "odd ball" game system.

Ripley(from the Alien movies)
Is it me?
I am having a difficult time making Ellen Louise Ripley in a way that reflects the diverse abilities she should have even at Lvl 1 (At the start of the first Alien movie).
I am finding it extremely frustrating to create Starfinder characters that are more then 1-Dimensional while still being "competent" in their primary character function. Starfinder's 10 points added to the character's racial base, doesn't seem to support that very well.
For example my "Wonder Woman" build is a bit "sub-optimal" but she could still pull her weight as a group's fighter. (I hope ...)

That's a much better reaction than many boy kitties have to a new kitten. Floyd is a wise uncle kitty.

Lord Nibbler, the boy grey tabby stray, is still leery of us, but he's pretty acclimated. He has a few favorite spots where he sleeps here at night. He wanders some about the neighborhood still, but seems to spend most of his time here now. He must have been on his own at an early age, because he never learned to meow for attention from people, but he will knead his front paws on the ground as he sits when he sees me putting food out for him. He also sneaks up on me or Dad when we're doing stuff in the yard and lays down to watch/supervise from a couple yards away.
Maggie, the not-stray from the neighbor across the street, begs the neighbors next door now for food too. Apparently our kibble isn't as good as theirs, so she only nibbles at it and doesn't eat it like she's very hungry.

When you've done that, provide me some of the "goals" for the Pathfinder 1E build. Use Wonder Woman as an example of what I mean buy "goals". (It also shows how far I am willing to vary from the inspiration character.)

Zatanna...my favorite DC character.
Zatanna Zatara is a difficult character to model.
* - She is a member of the "Homo Magi" race, that sounds like a Sorceress.* - ... but she also can use learned magic, like a Wizard.
* - She became a successful stage magician before discovering her magic potential. So that would be a Bard.
But, as we know multi-classing casters is never a good idea in Pathfinder 1E.
And since you are looking for projects...
Scarlet Witch (from the comics)
While I know you aren't playing 5E, Tulok the Barbarian has a Scarlet Witch build.

Ah! Versatile Spontaneity from the Pathfinder Society Primer p9.
Like most Superheroic spell casters, Zatanna rarely fusses with preparing spells, but this feat would allow for that occasion when she needs something out of her normal array.

@Lord Fyre: Are you going to accept the challenge?
I am.
Anyone as any other questions?
I am on vacation for two weeks...worst timing ever.
Did you realize that Ring of Feather Falling had to have been invented by a gnome?
It is an automatically renewing Feather Fall, cast at level 1. So, during a long fall, the user would ...
1 - fall five feat, then the ring would kick in.
2 - fall safely for the next six seconds.
3 - experience a moment of terror as they resume falling.
4 - again fall safely for the next six seconds as the ring reactivates.
5 - steps 3 and 4 can be repeated as often as needed.
No one but a thrill seeking gnome would have built in that interval.

I said I will so I will...my word means stuff...
I have a couple of "non-Taarna" questions about the film (and the Magazine it was based upon).
But first, a couple of facts:
* - The film was made in 1981, so incivility was not yet the norm.
* - The film/magazine's target audience was "adolescent males."
Now my two non-Taarna questions:
* - Would the film (and/or magazine) have benefited from the inclusion of writers/artists/etc. who were women and/or PoC? How, if any way, would this have changed the final product?
* - (The film & magazine does have female fans, however ...) Do you think it would have been possible for the magazine to have broadened its fanbase without losing it's core?
Yes, I am working on Zatanna for Pathfinder. :)

I never read the magazine but I remember the movie well enough to maybe answer the question...
1) Yes having women writers and LGBTQ+ writers, and PoC writers would have benefited it as it would be more diverse pod. And I think women can write heavy metal style sexiness.
2) Unfortunately even if they did it without politics I think they would loose some of their audience.

Actually, in my personal experience, women writers often do a better job of writing "heavy metal" style sexiness the most male writers. Women artist can also do a better job of creating "heavy metal" style art.
Given the time period, LGBTQ representation might have been too much to hope for, but improving their racial and gender inclusion would very likely have resulting in better stories.
Do you remember the 1985 Filmation She-Ra Princess of Power series?
I point it out because it is a wonderful example showing that giving female characters intelligence, capability, and independent motivations is not exclusive with making the female characters sexy. (A "Heavy Metal" version would, of course, have also made the female characters sexually active and available.)
