* - 1 Small Onion (chopped)
* - 2 Tsp. Flour
* - 6 Soda Crackers
1 - In heavy 2 qt. saucepan, melt butter or lard. Saute til golden brown, stir in 1 1/2 C. broth and bring to boil.
2 - Take a whisk and blend remaining broth and flour. Stir into boiling pot, cook til thick.
3 - Break crackers into small pieces and fold into broth.
4 - Set aside, for 5 minutes for crackers to soften.
5 - Serve hot!

Yes...I have had only have had chicken...But others sound good too.

In sad cat news our other cat, Misty, had to be put down this weekend due to cancer. :(
I was not as close to this cat as Floyd so I am not as wrecked by this...and I am still on the high of Friday night...but Floyd is starting to miss her.
Awww, poor Misty. I'm sure she had a great life and that she knew she was loved by you right up to the end. So sorry for your and Floyd's loss.
