I was also missing an Erastil. There were four in the RotR Base Set and one in the RotR Character Add-On Deck. I just plugged in an Erastil from RotR. It's totally obvious but we make due. Especially with all the craziness going on with shipping right now, it's not worth it to me to request an extra.

Sara marie, can you please cancel all my subscriptions, I'm especially not interested in the card game as I have no plans on buying the expansions. This is the third time I have made this request and really want it cancelled prior to being processed

I know y'all are doing all you can against insurmountable odds and I totally get that and utterly feel for you but please also cancel my subscription.

Not everyone who received an e-mail earlier this month has been shipped to. I received an e-mail on 8/5 and my order is still "Pending." I'm hoping that it's just a problem with the Web site. We'll see if it comes this week. :)

I believe that "when you Encounter" happens before the option to Evade.

The drag queen Wanda Shield and her cousins, Wanda Force Missile, Wanda Scorching Ray, Wanda Enfeeblement, and Wanda Treasure Finding

Also, we know all of the Slings as half-bras because Amiri the Barbarian; beware the Acid Half-Bra +3

Finally, when Seoni uses her inherent fire spell, we sing "This [Insert Card Name] is on fire (fire)"

It seems to have a password to be able to edit. Am I doing something wrong? What's the password?

Also, this is amazing. I find myself trying to think which forms I might want to possibly transform into for our next session and coming up with the alternatives manually. This is such a time saver!

I'm constantly amazed at hearing others' take on this game, whether that means finding a perfect combination of cards that sets off a rules question or that means a debate about what a word means on a card. What an awesome game!

OK, cool. Just saw some folks talking about digging through the deck for him and wondered if I'd made a mistake.

Clarification, then: "Put Arkhyst alone at the Sihedron Circle location"

Does this mean he's the only card there or is it just clarification that you don't also put Stone Heads there with him but he's part of a deck built using the location?

I assume it's because you don't have to put all and they were trying to get around people assuming that you had to do all or none.

I think Mending is really undervalued...oh wait.

I love this community. :)

Thanks so much, Vic!

I definitely want to get my hands on an Invincible Breastplate. Also, Bolstering Armor is a 9 Con/Fort to acquire. The Invincible Breastplate was the 11.

I'll have to look when I get home but I compared it to something else last night. I think it's 11 Con/Fort to acquire and it was Light Armor and Magic but don't quote me yet. ;)

Hawkmoon, you always know just how to put things. Thanks for the assist! :) That's a great way to put it.

And for all I know, it's not meant to be as powerful as Magic Leather Armor. It may be there just to make the armor deck thicker since we're banishing Basic and Elite now. I just thought I'd check because it seemed odd but I don't want to assume.

JBiggs, any armor can be banished/buried to reduce all damage dealt to the character to 0, even basic Leather Armor. The Combat restriction is usually in the armor's other power.

Vrog, you're thinking of the Lesser Bolstering Armor, which says both of the above things in addition to letting you Recharge to prevent 2 combat damage and draw a card. That's why I'm confused.

FYI: I get the mechanics of what I posted above; Gunslinger is on board with what I'm asking.

Just got some Bolstering Armor. It says:

"Banish this card to reduce all damage dealt to you to 0; if you are proficient with light armors, bury this card instead.

If you are proficient with light armors, you may recharge this card when you reset your hand."

I'm really confused; am I missing something? Any other magic light armor has one or both (usually both) of these sentences on it in addition to letting you do something else with it, so I'm confused.

Is this armor just a placeholder in Adventure 5 (I mean, is it meant to be kind of a less-useful card than cards from previous Adventures)? Is it misprinted? Lesser Bolstering Armor lets you recharge to reduce Combat damage by two and draw a card. I just want to check. :)

If only I could add a pic...

It means you can't play another spell on the check. The text on the card you discard isn't considered at all. Think of it as setting those Thieves' Tools on fire and throwing them at the Cultist.

The Traitor is awful for Lini. I try not to keep more than one animal in hand. Then my Sabertooth Tiger turns on me and I still have to beat an 11. If I don't have an attack spell that's a risky proposition.

Gotcha. Thanks, Mike!

To clarify, we were in Fortress, so we were allowed to grab cards that were 2 and lower and swap them out.

Interesting. When we played with the Paizo peeps at BGG.con, we were allowed to swap out some cards before starting the next Scenario (the folks before us had kind of nerfed the Kyra and Ezren decks, not to mention someone giving Kyra a +1 to Dexterity for some reason [we didn't change that since the whole idea was to mark in pen and go forth]). I assumed that was par for the course but maybe they were just trying to make sure we had fun?

I feel confident that I will not approve anything in the game that gives your character an advantage or disadvantage for having a particular sexual orientation. Thus, allies and monsters are very unlikely to get genders.

However, cards that reference your character's gender are not out of the realm of possibility. I could imagine a bane like Sisters of the Golden Erinyes that might have a higher difficulty to defeat if your character is male.

I for one appreciate the fact that Paizo appears to consider social justice and equality in its products. Not only is it a sounds business decision not to alienate people, it's also just the right thing to do. I can appreciate the idea that it's a game and there's no need to over-think it but I disagree that considering all types of players is over-thinking things on their part.

I'm totally of the opinion that if you want to wait two months to buy the Adventures, rather than getting them monthly, it's a lot easier to do that than to buy a new Adventure each month when they only release them semi-monthly.

So...I don't see why some are grumbling about the quicker release. If it's a budgetary thing (assuming you are patient enough for an actual budget, which I'm not), then budget away and wait. :)

Thanks! So many posts I miss a few. I appreciate the quick response. :)
