Thanks for a great run! A fun introduction to the system!
Quig tries to boost Zayo's shots while Scout beeps and boops behind him.

Quig gives the shields a go, hoping to get some more to the front shields.
Sorry...had a couple crazy work days and no time to post.
Quig, seeing TRS dealing with the shields, tries to get more power to the weapon bays.
"Eeep!"
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Quig continues diverting additional energy into the weapons system.
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
"I'm sending additional power to the weapons systems!" Quig squeaks over the intercom. "Those shields don't look like much...maybe we can take it down quick!"
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
A dust devil swirls in front of Quig at just the wrong time, obscuring his vision. Squinting toward the melee, he frowns in worry as companions fall.
"Come on, Scout! Get 'im!"

Sorry, haven't been able to get on the site and post despite multiple attempts. I'll post for last round and this round.
Quig presses some buttons on the keypad at his wrist and Scout whirs into action. It starts blasting at the enemy creature, but none of the blasts lands anywhere near it.

Quig sends his drone, Scout, ahead to look for a safe way to traverse the dunes.
"I think I see a path..." he says while examining the data feed from Scout.

Quig takes a look at the strange computer.
"I haven't seen anything like this...this may be a tough nut to crack."

Quig looks over the shoulders of those on the front line. "Did you get it?"
Struggling a bit with his aim, Quig sends Scout into action. The drone whirs to life, and with a beeping sound begins opening fire on a skeleton. green

Quig presses a couple of buttons on his forearm and Scout whirs to action. The drone swoops out into the bay, checking things out.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Quig braces himself as they try to land.
He tries to send more power to the thrusters.
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Quig double checks his armor to ensure it will keep him safe in the vacuum of space, then adjusts a setting on Scout to keep his flight accurate in the absence of gravity.
"I think I'm all set," he says.
Quig peers out his port and seeing that they haven't taken damage for a while, continues channeling additional power into the turrets.
Scout beeps and boops next to him.
"I know...I'm trying!"
engineering...power to guns: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
"Come on...come on..." Quig says, again trying to send more energy to the turrets. But things seem to be falling apart.

"Scout, let's keep the energy flowing to weapons!" Quig squeals.

Quig presses a few more buttons.
"Hey, ya big Velk! I'm sending some more power to the turret...fire away!"

"Roger that!" Quig says in response to TRS-80.
"I think I've got it stable!" he says as he presses buttons frantically.
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
With the shields stable, Quig tries diverting more power to the ship's engines.
engineering to divert to engines: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Quig continues his efforts to divert additional energy to the shields.
He presses several buttons on his console, while his drone, Scout, beeps and boops next to him.
engineering to Divert: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
"Eeep!" Quig squeals as the ship takes a big hit.
"Redirecting all shields forward!" he says as he frantically presses several switches to restore the shields.
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
I think I'm trying the Divert action to restore shields. Is there a way to actually put some of our energy from other shields to forward?
Having taken a significant hit, Quig squeals in protest and tries to divert additional auxiliary power to the shields.
"Come on, come on..."
engineering, restore shields: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
With the ship still unharmed, Quig decides to divert power to the weapons.
"I'm boosting damage to the turrets! Make those shots count!"
His drone companion beeps and boops in response.
"I know...I'm not sure if they'll hit, either."
engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
I'll be engineer...perfect for me.
Sorry, couldn't get on yesterday...
Quig directs his drone to shoot at the enemy to the south. He does his best to improve its aim this time.
tactical pistol: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d6 ⇒ 5
Ah, thanks. For some reason I saw it, opened it, and only saw the stats for the group.
Quig presses some buttons on a keypad strapped to his forearm. His drone, Scout, begins whirring toward the enemy thugs, and the drone opens fire on the nearest one.
tactical pistol: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d6 ⇒ 6 Hmm...I must have missed the map somewhere, but I'll use my actions to direct the drone (giving it a move and standard action this turn.
Quig looks preoccupied with the merchandise in the store. "How much for this converter coupling?" he asks.
"Oh...the insignias! Yeah...thanks for handing those over."
Quig begins refiling through the items on the shelves while the others discuss items with the local tough.
He presses a button on his wristpad, and a drone emerges from his backpack.
"See if there's anything we need, Scout!" The drone beeps and boops and begins scanning the merchandise.
Quig takes it all in.
"Yeah, we'll get the mission done, but if we find riches along the say, the more the better, I say!"
An ysoki mechanic slides into the room, late as always.
"Whatya know? Quig's here," he says, apparently referring to himself. "Did I hear something about recovering some insignias? Not that I was listening through the door..."
I'm probably using the mechanic pregen. I may make my own character if I have enough time, which would probably just be a similar mechanic. If I do that, I'll do it in the next 24 hours. Thanks for running this first outing!
Cool little mission! Thanks so much!!!
"I think you are confused about who is living through this!" Amiri yells at the faceless woman before cutting deeply into her.

"Yeah...I don't think so!" Amiri shouts as she brings her massive sword in front of her.
"Whoever you are...you're not the priests here. You'll be as dead as they are soon!" she yells and rushes them.
Cure serious wounds: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (2, 7, 8) + 3 = 20 I'm not sure how many of the heals from Adowyn (thanks!) take before they come in...but I was also planning to quaff a potion this turn anyway. I'll drink this, and if I am not healed all the way up before they come in, I also had a potion of cure moderate wounds I could drink (thanks, pregen inventory!). Regardless, I should be able to get to full before they enter.
Amiri screams as the creature rips her apart. Her innate rage comes bellowing out.
Still, like an animal that realizes it has attacked something much more ferocious than anticipated, she backs up, looking for a fresh start.

I will be taking a Fall Break trip with my family to Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde.
I'll likely not be able to post from Thursday to Sunday, so feel free to bot me if I'm up!
Seeing that the words seemed to help the others, Amiri repeats the ritual Oloch had showed them.
I've run Voice in the Void and Infernal Vault. I'm good for any of the others.
I would be in...love a quick fun Beckett adventure!
I'm probably more of a 1-5 or 3-7 player (my highest is level level 8 in your Emerald Spire adventure).
Amiri nods. "Let's try these last doors to the west, then," she suggests.
Evenstar looks angry and alarmed.
"You bet we're gonna find whoever did this...looks like we just wasted the last two weeks of our lives...our employer is dead! I want to hurt someone really bad!" she says as she moves from the room, looking for clues as to whether there was still an enemy here.

Moved the start to the east if there are no objections...
"Let's check this passage to the right," Amiri suggests. "Something's wrong...I can feel it..."
Placed on the map.
perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 Guessing you guys share the spoilers with the others?
What are the stats of the spear/arrow? Is it worth wielding?
Amiri nods. "Was quite a thing retrieving it...I'll be glad to have it in the right hands. Wait a second...what's happened to these statues?" the barbarian asks with suspicion.
