Yakno... I built an engineeer then my friend built an operative.

and.. i was seriously disappointed with how focused in engineer/computers I was and yet he really was almost just as good as me

Out of curiosity was this at 1st level? I'm curious

skillpoint wise they are pretty close

the talents and mods set them a bit apart though...just not at level 1

but technically if the mech goes drone he can hack/repair 2 things at once

Going it alone is difficult. This Game is 1000 times better, played with a decent group.

Come be a part of something in the wilds of the North. Something that is not yet huge, where you can have a lerge impact. A bastion of law, order, comaraderie, great times, and some actual organization. We are welcoming and friendly.

Get geared. We have top notch crafting and a terrific variety of local resouces.

Get Your Achievements. We have pretty regular activities for monster bashing, Gathering, Escalation trimming, and exploring.

Great trained. We have friendly and experienced players that can show you a few tips and tricks.

We are looking for pro social people that know the difference between what is right and wrong, not just what is allowed by the system and what is not.

Take a look. Come hang out with us for a day or two. See if you like what we are doing and where we are heading.

you forgot to add "The ONLY Stronghold in the north" =P

...well other than Forgeholm but I consider that more of a Mountain Fortress ;)

Know what I would really like, actually? "Group necromancer" mechanics. That way, you can get something like an undead army, but still encourage human interaction. For instance, necromancers could be able to combine their undead into very basic formations, or even summon large waves as something akin to the siege engines already planned.
Hmm. What if other characters in the necromancer's settlement could log in as undead as an alternative to logging in their normal character? (Sort of like monster-play). Some limitations, of course; maybe you can't go beyond some distance from the settlement or from the necromancer.

and as magical constructs too?

But i think the Devs might see it as defeating the purpose of alpha backers gaining the ability to play as monsters during events, or they may not see it that way

Just as a point of order, the Paizo forums do not allow posts along the lines of "bump" or "first post" or "IBTL" or similar such posts.

Then I guess I will apologize for opening those floodgates and setting the standard

Freerunners makes you sound like a parkour club - which may be exactly the image you're looking for as you leap chasms and bound up trees evading the bandits ...

so it would be a monk settlement?

monk + parkour > horse ;) imo

@Tyncale For the moment, the best answer we can give is mountain tile because of the unpredictability of the landrush outcome

Plus, mountains would give me access to make golems out of stone since Q will only let me use the metal bits for crafting arms and armor.

Not sure if it was covered soo...

Will the numbers for settlement votes be shown or only where the settlements ended up?

If I had a choice I would say no, IMO

Does the training at POIs is limited statement mean that they can only go up so high or that its limited to only 1 or 2 skills?

Would desecration of a shrine to an opposing god be in the game and if so how would alignments shift?

In my opinion
I do not see the "Opt-in" Flag being put in game, because(again, in my opinion) it would end up hurting the character interaction of the game more then it helps. It would lessen the amount of people engaging in the main interactions of the game.
assuming of course that the intended actions were geared for a more logistical and social approach to pvp then the -me and my friends only want to pvp so we are going to hide away in this little corner over here- approach while being social within the little group isnt really the definition of social i think they are going for

I would think that it would be considered praiseworthy if a small band of bandits managed to successfully sack a well guarded transport, wherein the overcame great numbers through stealth, subterfuge, magic, and or some high-flying acrobatics. Even then mostly by other bandit types.

I also do not see how making them hostile to all is the same as marking them as a griefer.
I agree with Andius' point that choosing a location for the ambush is the responsibility of the aggressor

I have read/skimmed the forums and such and there are a few things that i didn't find covered and would like to address

- Beast Mastery -
I have ready the end game topic about a dragon and was wondering if it was also possible for a set of people who wish to go the beast tamer route to be able to train various creatures/monsterous creatures as mounts or beasts of burden. Like giant spiders for a combat mount with better terrain negotiation than a horse or bullettes for a mining operation
-ok just found and read the beast taming mortal online quote so nm bout the beast taming thing

- Golem Crafting -
Wondering about the feasibility of crafters making golems to stand as a towns security or labor force

- NPC upgrades -
Thinking that what if a high level fighter can train the npc guards of a settlements garrison to improove their combat ability and/or equip those guards with better crafted(or enchanted) arms and armor, although this might already be factored in with settlement upgrades.

thanks for reading and apologies in advance for bad grammar and all that
