![]() In the case of Thaumaturge's Implements, is it allowed and accepted within organized play for players to reflavor their implements to not be limited to those listed. Such as using a polished silver plate for a mirror implement. Or a flute instead of a bell. Or even to go as far to deviate greatly from it, like using a deck of cards as a Weapon Implement? ![]()
![]() I've done a fair deal of research on this, AoN is incredibly helpful. But I cant seem to find a means to achieve this. First and foremost, how do I acquire an ability that is similar or functions exactly the same as No Breath. Permanently. using Items/cybernetics/grafts/Feats/etc,. Keep in mind I'm locked into a Solarian class, with multiclassing not being an option. This also prevents me from Race options, if any. Thank you for any assistance you can provide ![]()

Total Days: 62
Thanks to the rules of Retraining and the uniqueness of the Crossblooded Archetype I don't need to train out old Bloodline Spells for new ones, because I just keep the old ones. As well as not needing to train out all of my Bloodline Powers at every level namely just the 3rd level one. This saves TONS of Prestige. Three questions:

![]() I only ask this because spellcasters can lower their caster level when casting spells and I was hoping Kineticists could do the same. Please don’t ask why, it doesn’t help forward this question. If you must, I want to be able to do less damage to allies when I use Foe Throw on them to take them out of danger and not kill them because I’m rolling 6d6+16 on an ally that just took 70+ damage. ![]()

![]() More over, I'm looking for pictures of People with Gems Embedded into their skin. Big ones too, like fist size, that or a race of people that look similar. Such as Oreads, but with Gems in their skin, or I'd settle for a species of Humanoid Crystal people. So far Google search Images hasn't given me what I'm looking for. If you could throw me an artists name, Race name, or links to such things i'd very much appreciate it. ![]()
![]() If you use Kinetic healer can you use your familiar to Deliver the Touch required to Heal someone?
It be nice to have for any Overwhelming Soul Archetype users Given they can only heal themselves with it if they use their Buffer. I'll ask my GM personally if he's ok with it, but i wanted to see where this discussion will go, since i find it interesting. NOTE: for simplicity sakes assume Familiar was gained from Greater Elemental Whispers. ![]()

![]() This is actually more of a request for clarification on whether ranged touch attacks are treated as ranged weapons for the purposes of qualifying for Using ranged weapon feats. ![]() Its Been almost 5 Months Now since the Rebuild and I was wondering if there are any rulings on the interaction between Ultimate Campaign Retraining Rules and the new Occult Classes regarding Pathfinder Society Play. Some of it seems simple, Archetypes and possibly spells known, but what about Class features and Class levels? What Synergies are there? Mesmerists Tricks, Phrenic Amplifications, Occultists Implements? Can those be Retrained?

The main advantage I had for this Character was that I had two GM credits for a 1st level character on this tac before. For Slow progression. It allowed me to build more freely and gave me an advantage on what Implements I may or may not have wanted. It also got me thinking, that with enough prep time before combat I could give my Necromantic Servant(s) weapons I already had on hand. But opted out of doing this because it became clear to me I had no idea how to play a Necromancer. First Encounter: four humanoids and a guy bleeding from the eyes. I rolled low on initiative. So by the time I was able to go one of them closed in pretty close. Due to the Necromantic Servant not having a range limit expressed in the description. I simply Summoned one from the ground adjacent to me, between me and the enemy that closed in on me. The Skeley 5ft, then 2 clawed hitting for 9 damage total. That particular enemy died before he could act again. I then Proceeded to go for the guy bleeding from the eyes. Giving the rouge a flanking partner. After A round or two the rouge takes him down and the remaining two other guys stopped fighting. After this we explored a little bit and found a 'Passage' into a underground ruin or dungeon. Since my skeley was still around for 7 minutes we used him as a 'Trap Finder'. This cost him his unlife as he fell prey to a trap and died(again). Second Encounter: one weird animal thingy. I summoned a new skeleton to fight, he was lovingly named Yorick. Yorick moved to attack and missed. Encounter ended when the barbarian(one of them at least) hit the monster once. Yorick took up his former compatriots role as Trap Finder. Before entering the next room for reasons unbeknownst to me I summoned a second skeleton. I have reason to believe that it was because I realized the simple fact that I could. Both Skeletons entered the room fisrt and combat began after discovering a mass of whirling flesh. Third Encounter: four Ghouls, and two unidentified creatures that exploded upon death(yeah sorry for the spoilers). The new skeley charged the closest Ghoul, on the right, and hit for 5 damage. Yorick moved to the left of the room after the other ghoul but was unable to charge. The next Round I moved into the room drawing a Crossbow and loading it. Yorick and the other one attacked. Yorick hit with both claws for 8 damage total. The other was destroyed but I brought it back after spending a point of Mental Focus to bring him back, after which almost immediately, He was slain again by one of the unknown creatures multiple attack it had in that round. The following round Yorick caused the explosion of the final unknown and we proceeded to tear at the swirling fleshy thing in the middle of the back of the room. Once destroyed, apparently, we explored the rest of the ruins. Finding more of those Unknown creatures and a 'Woman' stitting on a throne. of which we could not negotiate with due to one of the Barbarians charging and killing one of the Unkown creatures before we could even act. Final Encounter: I summon a second Undead to replace the one that had fallen and proceeded to send them after the Woman and the one remaining Unknown. Helping the Rouge flank with Yorick and the other new one charging the Woman missing, seemingly almost clawing his own face out(if it was still present). The other barbarian seemed however to rend the foul woman in two swinging downwards at the woman. Blade touching the ground. The other Unknown slain by the Rouges precision damage on the creature thanks to my Yoricks Flanking. After I examined the chest and found much silver to be split among the group. As they had all earned their fair share of the Stuff We All Got from this exploratory mission. We Later dug out a room cut off from a prior collapse of the ruins internal structure. finding a Ghoul that just kinda, jumped, onto the barbarians Greatsword. Killing it instantly. We looted the room finding the Orb, I took extensive notes of the ruins structure and layout, Even finding a secret door leading to a door we could not possibly open, we then all left to return to the pixie. Notes: I Like the Occultist theme. but I'm sure I built it wrong according to most people, advice would be nice. I'm building a more Necromatic servant build eventually getting Animate Dead. I had fun with it, though I was worried about my effectiveness in combat should I be caught without my Skeletons. Or the means to Summon them. My Skill point allocation seemed nearly Satisfactory until I realized how effective my Skelies where at Trap Finding. Making me regret putting points into Disable Device. Though I believe thats fine since I might need it for some locked doors or something.

To clarify the latter. I would center the 30 radius sphere so as to have most of the spells effect in the Air above the target but low enough to only include them. The former hovers above the target without effecting him. That is until I cast Air Geyser to attempt to launch target into the Air as far as possible. At my current level this means I can launch the target 60ft into the air. Here's where my question comes in. Do I launch the target through the Gravity Sphere the full 60ft into the Air or does the x2 Gravity Half this distance? Rules to consider:

![]() Excuse me if this is some sort of special ruling or something of that matter. But I was playing some tables at a Con and heard players saying they were over coming special kinds of DR for hitting with a weapon with a specific number bonus. i.e. +4 weapon is equal to having made out of adamantine. though this isn't a specific example, its along the line of what they were arguing. I know of the +1 bonus makes it Magical for that purpose but not of anything else. Could someone guide me to what the Potential source of this could be. ![]()

![]() After much searching I am still having a hard time finding anything other than back and forth "Rulings" among various Threads. This is regarding the Sorcerer Elemental(Any) Bloodline Arcana: "Whenever you cast a spell that deals energy damage, you can change the type of damage to match the type of your bloodline. This also changes the spell's type to match the type of your bloodline." and whether or not any relative Metamagic Feats such as Rime Spell, Burning Spell, Etc. can be applied to Spells affected by the above Bloodline Arcana. The ONLY reason I raise this question is because one can argue that because the Bloodline Arcana states Type change not a Descriptor change like it does in the Marid Bloodline Arcana: "Whenever you cast a spell that deals energy damage, you can change the type of damage to cold. This also changes the spell's descriptors to match this energy type." Thusly Confusion ensues. Though honestly it seems that my answer just might be. "Well... just pick Marid so no one can argue about it". I'd like for that to just be it, but I would like to know if I have more flexibility than that. Especially whenever(if ever) I get one of the Elemental Races(specifically Undine). I apologize if there was an official ruling on this already but I have had a hard time finding it. ![]()
![]() Note: I am limited to PFS rules. No other Animal Companion aside from any other Insect(except crab, I don't consider that an Insect) I would like some help decking out my Centipede Animal Companion. Classes are limited to either Druid(don't know which domain) or Sylvan Sorcerer.
Any suggestions are welcomed ![]()
![]() I need some advice as to how i can beat a 20th level to 25th level Ranger with a few levels of Rouge. He mainly uses a Composite STR +(whatever the max is) Bow. Clustered Shot, Rapid Shot, Many Shot, Basically on a fullround attack he can get off 7 Arrows that ignore DR for a minimum of 250ish dmg. i dont know exactly how he accomplishes this but i dont care. I just need a way to either Survive the first round or Negate his Ridiculousness. Either as a Sorcerer, Dragon Disciple or a Ninja or anything really. Also he believes a Ninjas 20th level, Hidden Master, uses Up 3 ki every round you are Invisible. From his understanding of this sentence. "Using this ability consumes 3 ki points from her ki pool." so at a minimum of 15 ki(off a 20 CHA Score) at 20th level. He says I only have 5 rounds of this Invisibility. But i say it works like i have 20 rounds per 3 Ki i spend. as i am casting Greater Invisibility at a caster level equal to my Ninja Level. as it says in the book. A Resolve to both these questions would be great. Im mainly doing this to get him off his high horse because he brags to everybody about it. any way to beat/negate/make useless would be perfect. Remember he has high saves, especially Reflex which is why hes a problem. i cant do the usual Maximized Time Stop into five Maximized Delayed blast fireball trick. with the use of rods and feats of course. I may have a +21 to my initiative but this doesnt mean i cant lose. so if i dont go first i Die. even then i have to avoid beeing seen when he has invisibility seeing magic items. Who wouldnt really at that level. The Ninja was my way around that. he Ignores anything but total concealment and total cover. ![]()

![]() Sanguine Society First founder of this magical art, did so under the pretense that there where others in the world that dared called them selves masters of blood. When really they were slaves of it. The first to try to master the bloody magical arts barely had a grasp of control over his own blood when he taught his disciples. However, after his demise during a successful show of power by one of his students, they became the new master of the bloody arts. Despised by the world around them and with a new understanding coming from this terrible accident they took their school and hid it from the world. Building their small City out of blood and sweat, quiet literally, the Crimson City was founded. Here the magical art of Sanguine Magic flourished and became a natural part of their world. Every Man, Woman, and Child knew the art that ran through their veins, to varying degrees, becoming a part of every day life. Those more powerful became leaders and lived longer lives due to their control over their own blood as well as others. For centuries they lived in peace, until a terrible earthquake shook their city. Fortunately since their structures where made of the blood of their ancestors. They managed to keep it standing using the magical art that came naturally to them. Its then that the population discovered they lived underground, having some form of other magic give the illusion of an above ground life style. This fact lost to the generations, and kept secret to protect themselves from the world. Elders of the City attempted to keep the people inside the shattered walls, Giving advice of lies an deceit to keep them 'safe'. This however didn't stop a single redheaded girl from venturing forth into the outside world. Little time passed as she eventually discovered a small town. None could understand her as she spoke only the language of her people. This caused her to lash out on those who assailed her due to their lack of understanding and she killed them quickly. Causing their blood to hit the wall behind them, leaving their empty bodies to fall the ground. She did not mean to kill them, had they have been like her kin, they simply would have been pushed back a foot or two. She hid for a time, followed back upon her return to her city. Those who followed looked upon the city in absolute horror, the way the people there acted and used their own blood for every day activities caused them to nearly go mad. Despite being discovered as outsiders, the people of the Crimson City let them leave. Ignorant to the true nature of the Crimson City they caught the attention of many local Kings-men, who learned to fear that power underneath the earth. Thus began the Crimson Crusade, A mass genocide of the Crimson City inhabitants, during the beginning the citizens fled to the inner city seeking safety among the Elders power. When the Crusade eventually surrounded the center, they had already succeeded in eliminating more than three quarters of the population. This was only accomplished by the fact that the people were inherently peaceful and had only a small police force to defend themselves when the crusade began. But with their backs to the wall, they fought back, even with those few against so many. They pushed them back out of their city walls, consequently leaving them even fewer in number, and taking nearly none of the invaders lives. For the people had learned to worship theirs and others blood and for it to be spilt so easily by these invaders led them to spare as many as they could, but this didn't help deter the oncoming storm. To cover for their shameful retreat, the Kings-men, lied about the nature of the Crimson City's attack to the rest of the world. And so the world rallied under the guise of defeating the evil 'Invaders' from the bloody underground. By the time they had gathered their forces and invaded the Crimson City. They found it empty, void of any conflict that had ever as well as the presence of the Bloody built structures, the Kings-men, were ridiculed for their musings of a Bloody Magical Art form. After the armies had left, in their rage they buried where the city once was thoroughly enough to where it would surely never be found again. Then again worried of the return of the Crimson Casters, they ordered that all redheads and red eyes be killed on sight. As this was the common theme among the people of the accursed Crimson City. Whether this was effective or not, they never heard of that degree of blood magic again and neither did the rest of the world. Time passed, forgotten the Conflict with the Crimson City, reminded only by the lessened number of redheads in the world. (I hate to break the story up like this here, but i'm at a cross roads with either, making this story lead to a sorcerer exclusive bloodline/Prestige Class/Archetype. Or a new class all together. though it helps while writing this i may have gotten more ideas on how to make either or. Also i post this now so i can get some help with making this possible. I left out major details for a reason, its not like you guys haven't run into something like that before. You know being told about MAJOR historical events with varying details left out for speculative purposes.*cough**Aroden**cough cough*(on a side side note: Kings-men was used in lue of something better of which I couldn't think of at the time, its meant to be a generalization for the explicit purpose of being replaced by what ever Paizo(or whoever) decides on. In fact thats the main reason events are led to be so general in the story. Just providing and interesting back story for this thing I'm working on. That and this is just a template on which they can work on/with. Trying my hardest to make this story unique from the other "Blood Magic" users. Seeing as they have the theme of being either Necromatic(made up word) or evil or grotesque in nature.)) [I hear-by give exclusive access of this idea to Paizo publishing, for the purpose of sounding all legal like and making a new Blood Magic based class/Prestige/Archetype/Bloodline/etc,. My question is based off of the fact I'm going to be a Ninja taking, Ninja Trick: Rogue Trick: Swift Poisoner. Then Eventually the Ninja Trick: Flurry of Stars. For now assume I'm not worried about action economy, for whatever reason. I plan on "Loading" all four Shuriken with Poison Prior to using them for the Flurry of Stars.
