as far as I can see, standing doesn’t provoke in starfinder, but depending on how you want to handle the solar weapon will effect which action I am able to take next.

np np. part of slotting the Maiden boon is that the whole table has to agree to use it. so, if vecro is saying no, the maiden is not an option to use.

i just hope our pilot rolls well. with only a front gun for that 3rd seat, we will need to make sure the front is pointed toward at least one enemy on the field.

statwise, the maiden is slightly better in a couple spots, but i will say, the damage on her guns IS lower on average than the other two ships as well. the turrets are 3d6 vs the drake with 4d4 and 4d8 (missile) or the pegasus with a 4d4

works for me. if we go with the drake it has a turret and missile launcher (limited ammo) that can shoot in all directions. the sunrise maiden has a total of 5 guns, though her best is the turret and aft. so, gotta keep the other ships behind her for best damage potential.

I suppose this might be a good time to figure out ship roles? I'd personally like pilot with a +8 modifier to piloting, but i know we have THREE aces on this team. lol. And for the ship itself, is everyone cool with using the Sunrise Maiden? it has more armor and shields than the Pegasus, as well as more armor and speed than the drake. everything else is pretty close to the same.

i'll hop in the pilot seat for this one, but i'm fine giving it up if someone else wants it
