That would have been more satisfying

Dominate and maze just destroyed us. We were also running low on resources too. But with covid and not everyone being there, the ones that were there were having to handle multiple characters. So at this point I'm personally considering the last module to not have happened and we ended at module 5 instead.

Just finished Kingmaker and our party got wiped out in the fight with Nyrissa. We did have the dice and luck against us plus missing some players. Anyone else find her being too op or was she an easier fight for you?

Agreed, should be 1d8 S with the traits versatile p, two-hand d12.

One thing I noticed for the backgrounds, the bonus skill feat requires you to burn a skill choice. I'd be fine with backgrounds giving a lore skill, skill feat and the prerequisite skill for the feat. Giving players an extra bonus skill isn't going to break the system imho.

As the title says, thought when I did the pre order that I would be getting the PDF files as well. Oh Well.

Oh great orb, how is starting gear determined?

If I wanted to make a space Knight or paladin. What class or multi class combination would be best?

I would like to praise this product after we mounted it on our ship. After a failed attempt to put down a zombie plague on a frontier world, we were able to sanitize the entire affected area with just one shot. Our organization would like to know the discount for bulk purchases.

Our MK15's are one of our finest products and absolutely perfect for slaughtering the undead.

Bulk orders for AbadarArms products come in three tiers:

Phalanx Tier- Comes with free maintenance and service for eight galactic standard years.

Company Tier- Includes the Phalanx Tier package plus free installation and your choice of a free small arm as our gift.

Battalion Tier- Includes all service tiers plus we upgrade you from the MK15 to our new MK15.2, with the auto targeting feature and Overkill Fleshmelter feature. The MK15.2 can also be converted to a portable hand held feature using the EasyGlide Detachable handle (it is sized to standard Vesk hand sizes however).

We will consider the battalion tier option since our super robot units could utilize the MK 15.2 in fleet actions along side our similarly equipped battleships and cruisers. Does the MK 15.2 leave as much Hawking radiation behind as the previous model?

I'm aware. Just want to see a goblin with a flamethrower go completely insane on a battlefield and try to burn everything.

As long as I get rocket launcher and flamethrower using goblins that are as much a threat to themselves and their fellow goblins as to the PCs then I'm happy

Going to default to a half-elf or human spaceknight as my concept. not original, but it fits me.

Something I hadn't seen talked yet is archetypes. So to start, I've been thinking of that, one I would like to see is star Knight/space samurai.

My group is currently running Kingmaker and I would love to see a similar sandbox/build your own colony adventure path in the future. We kind of like stuff like that.

Interesting concept for a class. Some non-urban options would be nice in the final version. But I see this class as a good option for a more urban based campaign in it's current form. Bring the pulp action super heroes into the mix, lots of story options, though it might seem that in a pulp hero campaign, the pally gets reduced to the Jim Gordon role.

Looking forward to ordering the hardcopy and pdf later his week. And just from some of the homebrew ideas, looks like if I want a sun sword, I'll have enough resources to stat that up, or at least my version.

More to the point... the book is already written and is just now finishing development. Now is not the time to add more to the book anyway, even if we WANTED to add an "energy sword."

I'm sorry you'll miss the lack of energy swords in Numeria, Tels... but we can't put every single sci-fi element into the AP. It needs to be focused on the ones we want to include in order to tell the story. And this particularly story doesn't have energy swords. It doesn't have giant mechs in it either, or spaceship chases, or time travel, or lots of other science fiction tropes. There's not room for all of those in one AP.

Note that nowhere did I say we'll NEVER do an energy sword. It's not gonna be in the Tech Guide though, and it's unlikely that one will show up in Iron Gods, although now that I know folks are super-passionite about them... I might consider changing that stance... yet at the same time, I don't want folks to think they can play Jedi or that they'll be fighting Jedi in the AP. For a LOT of reasons.

Also: Let's try not to get too worked up or angry or insulting about the topic. On both sides.

And it's probably a good idea to move the topic to its own thread anyway.

True, though if you guys do a tech book 2 then you could add one in. Wouldn't mind being able to pull a Thundaar the Barbarian Pathfinder style someday.
