40K has a few interesting races
A small-sized Android, leaning Bard, with a singular wheel instead of feet. Beat boxes, and tells the grandest of stories, especially involving it's cast of minions.
I've also had this image in my mind from other games of running a Mech jockey that runs his machine with no computer systems, so he can drop EMPs in the middle of opposing fields. The hilarity ensues from his long range support crew.

I'll more than likely be GMing more than playing, but I have one character concept: a human soldier or operative who comes from a long line of law enforcement, a line as long as anyone can remember, even back to great-great-great-etc grandma who was around when the gap first manifested.
Not that he'd know it, but he would be a decentant of one of my PFS characters who is a shieldmarshal from Alkenstar who has stumbled across many technological ruins and has collected a few... trinkets, let's say, along the way.
If playing monsters be CR is still on the table I'd be a Robot. Probably a Mannequin or Gearsmen.
Would pkay an AI if they get fixed.
Otherwise, all Android all the time.
As for class I'd be an item crafting monionmancer. Like always.
