Shoshin sits in his class, listening to the teacher while spacing out every now and again when various topics are brought up, before returning to reality and scribbling notes or important information in his journal

Shoshin steps into his basic mathimagica class early, looking for a spot to sit as he waits for class to start.

He shakes his head, if this was his roommate then things were definitely gonna be interesting to say the least. Calling back over his shoulder he says "Put your hand on the wall and think where you want to go, I think we covered that in the tour earlier"

With that said, he proceeds to head in the direction of the arrows, presumably to his next class.

"You have to be able to focus on very many aspects at once. Smell, vision, sound, tactile. It's something I have picked up as a solo stage artist. You have to sing, dance, play instruments, keep up with the effects and lights... multi tasking is a specialty of mine. So, once you have that down, you let their mind fill in the blanks. Not easy to fool someone that knows their stuff, though. Green dragons don't breath fire, that is. But, when it's charging at you, most people don't consider that."

They keep walking a distance, before the arrows lead Shoshin around the corner the dragon came from.
As he turns the corner, he bumps into a solid wall.
The hallway falls into the same rainbow smoke the dragon turned into.
"Lesson two, use a spell to it's full usefulness."
He grins.

"Really gotta figure a way around that" he looks at Rakki "As much as I love a good joke, and trust me, I love a good joke, you gotta tell me when you do that" rubbing his head lightly from where he bumped into the wall, he turns and places his hand on it to follow the arrows again.

"Very little of my magic harms, let alone kills. I've not killed anyone yet, and I'd like it to stay that way."

He says.
"Allow me to show you one of my favorites."
He closes his eyes and makes a conducting motion with one hand while he hums the F arpeggio.
Nothing seems to happen at first, but there's a faint thumping. A corner up ahead has a large shadow for a moment, then it's owner rounds the corner. A massive, green scaled dragon rounds the corner, sniffing the air. It spots Shoshin and roars, fire pouring from its mouth. It charges for him, the ground shaking with its galloping steps.
Just before its massive, pointed jaws reach up to snap him away, it turns into a mass of rainbow colored fog that envolepes him and rolls past and dissapates, leaving him unharmed.
"Hm?"
He says, having stood with his arms crossed watching.
The other patrons of the hallway don't seem to have seen the scaled behemoth.

He stands there with his arms slightly raised in a defensive posture, his eyes wide.Looking at Rakki he asks "How did you do that? I've never seen something act so real"

He stays silent for a single moment before replying, not breaking stride "I'd like a demonstration, yeah, as long as its not lethal"

"Isn't that what I just said?"

He raises an eyebrow and tilts his head ever so slightly to the side.

"Yeah, but aside from a few illusions and my natural shapeshifting, I can't do much as far demonstrations go" he claps his hands behind his head as he walks, "besides, no offense, but most my illusions are the variety that kill, so a demonstration here would be big no-no"

"Where's the fun in that? Why don't you show me what you can do?" he looks over at Rakki, smirking.

"Oh. I'm heading to" he checks his student book.

"Advanced Illusions, myself."

Shoshin gives a small nod "Never really saw much in illusions except for disguises, but everybody has their own way of doing things I guess"

"Er... no thanks. Poison isn't a good flavor for soda. Or anything really... so what class are you headed to?"

"Don't really know just yet, I think its basic mathimagica, but I could be wrong"

That's a good question, what would Shoshin's first class be with his schedule? He has Basic Mathimagica, Engineering, Archery, and the basic classes.

"Old friends of mine honestly, never really did get along well" he smirks, shrugging his shoulders.

"It depends on what the fruit is, I work with poisons and antidotes, If its a regular fruit, better off searching for a farmer than asking for my help, though it doesn't stop people from trying" he replies with a roll of his eyes, grinning slightly.

"Killing people, only if it came to it. Lets just say I'm here for...sanctuary I suppose, and to learn to control a few things" He starts walking after the boy, placing his hand on the wall and thinking of his next class to go to as he does, blue arrows lighting up on the wall, leading the way.

"I was hoping you would know who I was."

He sighs.
"Thank you."
The others set his things in his corner.
With a snap of his fingers they disappear with a burst of white smoke that dissipates quickly.
"Are you a musician?" He asks.

"Sorry, mercs tend to only remember clients. Not really, I enjoy it, but I'm more of an...herbalist by trade, or an engineer if I really have to fix something"

"Oh. OK then. Need to get to first class, so autographs will have to wait."

He has the... himselves... following him drop off the boxes in the room.
"You are?"
He offers his fingerless-gloved hand not holding an introduction packet with a charming smile.

He hesitantly takes the outstretched hand, shaking it a few times. "It's polite to give your name first before asking, but its Shoshin, I'm already set up so the bed and things on the opposite side are yours I guess"

he lets the boy in the room, leaning against the door as he watches the doubles work before moving to his dresser and taking out one of the vials of liquid, stuffing it into his pocket before resuming his post on the door.

Could I get a reminder of what you look like right now?

Reminder for me:
The guy is medium height and well built. Stocky, but by no means fat. Very handsome, pop star look. He's dressed in a well made blue suit. A simple gold crescent piercing is through his right ear. Looking closely, he has one eye of leaf green and one of sea blue. His hair is brown and longish. It seems to be in disarray, but also that every strand is in the proper place and doesn't move from it. His scent is a faint combination of musk and pine cologne. He is smiling, as if he can go on smiling through anything. Not an idiot's grin, but the smile of someone that feels like he knows some secret you don't.

Pure white kitsune wearing a simple blue shirt and brown pants, gold-colored eyes, with a single tail. A longsword happens to be resting on his hip.

The door opens in towards him as he moves towards.

"Oh. Uh. Hi there. You're. Uh... in my room."

He blinks for a second, Opening the door wider as he looks at the tanuki. "Not just your room, little thing called a room-mate, I guess I'm yours"

As he waits Shoshin hears the bell sound, remembering Sorchan's advice, he gets up, hoists his pack onto his shoulder and proceeds outside of the room, schedule in hand.

Shoshin walks to the door of his room after following the arrows, opening it reveals there are two basic beds and drawers, two closets, and a small desk in the corner. Leaving the door open slightly he moves to one of the drawers and opens it, gently moving the items in his pack into them before closing the drawer and sitting on the bed for a moment.

Hey, Shoshin, you can be my roommate.

I haven't arrived quite yet, but I'm almost done making the character.

It will be cool to have a Kitsune room mate with the Tanuki.

I was planning on doing some back story with Keme, but doing it currently with you works well and is less complicated.

Still up to you.
I had considered him rooming with Kedikai, but this works well, if it's still an option.

Hm, well, my roommate is open right now. It'd be fun, I'll admit, I'm not the native kitsune but stil.

Shoshin was rooming with Iolth, yes? Since he won't be around anymore, would Shoshin mind rooming with Kedikai instead? Or would you rather he have a single room? Up to you, feel free to describe his room accordingly.

He nods, before heading out the door in search of his room to get set up.

Yes, well, I won't turn down rooming with another character if Kedikai is ok with it

Shoshin takes the schedule, looking it over before answering, a small amount of worry in his tone "When you said it was dangerous to go alone, I noticed Halo had left the group, Iolth and I went looking for her, but he ended up in the infirmary"

"Sorry I ran off Mr. Sorchan" he looks sheepish for an instant, scanning the office briefly "I had a good reason though, if that counts at all"

Shoshin, tired of simply sitting in the lobby and waiting, sighs and gets up from the seat before heading to the nearest wall.

"Iolth should be alright if I leave him here, Sorchan's probably gonna be mad anyway" he mutters to himself, thinking of the office before following the glowing arrows.

"Sunny-side up" perhaps

I would hope so, the group of grieving friends are definately in need of it

Ok, I was wondering about that since only nurse #7 was helping, figuring if they were in the lobby there would be more nurses scrambling to help

When Shoshin steps back outside, he finds that the infirmary has rearranged itself significantly. Planted squarely in the path of the main entry doors is a Nurse's station/reception desk where several orderlies are working. Off to one side there are several chairs arranged in a group; a waiting area. There are several hallways radiating out from this central room that all have private treatment rooms off of them. There is even one locked and obviously high security ward.

He sits in the waiting area, nervously fidgeting with the pouch at his side again, looking at the door to Iolth's room every once and a while.

Shoshin nods, still worried, but excuses himself from the room and waits outside

He steps into the room, leaning against the wall "Making sure a friend's okay is the least I can do" he watches as Iolth convulses, "how bad is he?"

Shoshin stops near the door to the infirmary, panting as he looks in to try and find Iolth and make sure he's ok.

whats the layout of the school right now? specifically the office for the schedules and the infirmary?

didn't miss it, Shoshin is currently heading to the infirmary to check on Iolth

After seeing the note, Shoshin looks around quickly for a wall. Sprinting over to the nearest one, he thinks of the infirmary before following the arrows. 'My roommate is taken to the infirmary on his first day here, there's no way I'm not gonna at least check on him, I shouldn't have left him alone.'

Upon coming up to Iolth, he lets out a sigh of relief before it switches to panic when he doesn't respond "Iolth! Man, come on, the race is over"

He looks around before draping Iolth's arm over his shoulder and walking to the nearest wall. Thinking of the infirmary, the arrows light the way "Alright lets hurry" he mutters, rushing Iolth to the infirmary for help.

Hearing the announcements, he sighs, shouting "Iolth, where are you? we're gonna get in trouble agian!" while still searching for him.

He walks through the grounds after passing by Toby, checking the damage himself before looking for his roommate as he pulled the hood of his cloak up.

"Yeah, I need to go get Iolth and drag him to our room. At least he's sleeping so I doubt he'll fight being dragged"

He yawns, getting up and dusting himself off before looking at her and smiling "Good race though, we should do that again sometime"

He nods, moving to sit against a nearby tree with his hands tucked behind his head.

"I know a little about fixing things, so if you need help just ask"

Shoshin hops down from the phantom steed, petting it before it vanishes. "Yeah, it was a good race, is Toby alright though?"

I'm just basing the situation on what I see. I did consider both the hell hound being threatened as a natural response, and the 'helpless old lady' bit. But since I can't tell what'll happen I took a guess.

I actually feel bad for the thing, if only because in another rules system I've played as a demonic hound before.

Decisions decisions

Shoshin hears a growl, looking back he spots the hellhound from earlier menacing an old lady. He sighs, before slowly stopping the horse and looking directly at the beast.

"You know, I was in a good mood up until you ruined it. But now you've gone and made me mad" he raises a hand towards it and says in a low whisper "Phantasmal Killer"

Shoshin moves the steed over the lake in a sprint, flying over the lake as fast as it can go to catch up to Reed.

Shoshin takes in his surroundings, apparently someone thought it'd be funny to transport him to the lunchroom, the only problem was the steed didn't appear to want to stop running. As students and cafeteria staff ran for cover, Shoshin muttered a quick "Dimension Door" and he and his steed disappeared when it looked like they would head right for a wall.

Teleporting back to his previous spot, Halo would probably already pass him when he got back.

Shoshin moves farther away from Reed and Halo, snapping the reins of the horse to make it run faster.

"Lets make this a bit harder, Fog Cloud" he snaps his fingers as a cloud of fog billows up a few feet behind him and he spurs the steed on harder.

As he moves, a large wall looms overhead. Smirking, he moves the horse right through it, picking out the flaws in the simple illusion.
