| Shoshin the Fox |
"Killing people, only if it came to it. Lets just say I'm here for...sanctuary I suppose, and to learn to control a few things" He starts walking after the boy, placing his hand on the wall and thinking of his next class to go to as he does, blue arrows lighting up on the wall, leading the way.
| Kedikai |
"A few days south of here is a a coastal village. Laven, it's called. I came her because there was no one who could teach me there."
"Ah I see..." Kedikai says, looking sad. "At least you'll be able to see your family at some point. What kind of powers do you have?"
| Alys Himuro |
Having stopped in her room and changed into a more casual and modified kimono, Alys slips into the light blades class and follows the other students to the stands with practice blades. Choosing a long and slightly curved blade, she moves to where she can see the demonstration.
| Jeran Darkclaw |
Casseus walks up to Jeran at this point.
"The arrows had me going all over, man. Uhm, the cultists bugged out of that place. I went around and freed the people that didn't look mentally deranged or too sick to move. There is no physical way out, according to this spherical doo hicky I ran into. It wouldn't or couldn't tell me where that place was, or anything useful. It wouldn't port the prisoners out either, just me. I dunno what happened to the snake lady."
"So the cultists got away? Dammit..and we'll need to figure out what to do about the victims...Well, the coordinates are locked into the teleportation room since I came back from there. I was hoping you'd be able to round up the cultists while I was gathering reinforcements. Come on, then. We're headed to the Headmasters office to tell him the situation in case Mr. Abyssal and ugly actually follows through on his threats. Guess we should mention that there are now two students missing, though I think the snake girl is more likely still in the cultists place somewhere."
| Shoshin the Fox |
"Old friends of mine honestly, never really did get along well" he smirks, shrugging his shoulders.
"It depends on what the fruit is, I work with poisons and antidotes, If its a regular fruit, better off searching for a farmer than asking for my help, though it doesn't stop people from trying" he replies with a roll of his eyes, grinning slightly.
| Sadie Jhiwoon |
Sadie Jhiwoon wrote:"Great. Thanks. All right, class, grab your training blades and a partner, but don't start practice yet. Adon and I are going to demonstrate some basic techniques for you and then you'll spend the rest of class today practicing them," she said loudly, bringing the class to a semblance of order, as students were still trickling in.adon gets in a ready stance, ready to defend against whatever moves saidie chose to demonstrate.
"So, one of the main goals in a sword fight is to not get hit by the other guy. But no matter how good you are at dodging, sometimes you just can't. That is where the parry comes in. Remember that this isn't heavy blades. You're not trying to block the blow, you're trying to redirect it away from you. And by doing so you create a space for a counterattack known as a riposte. Those of you who have no idea what's going on, try to arrive at class on time from now on. Just observe for now. As I said previously, we'll keep it pretty basic this time."
"En garde," she said, waiting for Adon to be ready before directing an attack towards him.
| Pyra del Sol |
Kim is clutching her Teddy, looking rather nervous, she follows Pyra as directed.
I sure hope they will accept me. she mumbles to herself, not realizing she may be actually speaking her thoughts.
"Of course you'll be accepted, dear," Pyra said, ushering the new students inside the office. " Please go ahead and sit down. And help yourself to a cookie. Mrs. Blackscales always keeps cookies in her office. This shouldn't take too long. Who wants to go first?"
| Raelle del Sol |
She gives a short laugh at her joke.
"Well, no, but I made pictures with some of the coal grass in our yard."
She watches as Raelle puts her hair up.
"I like your hair."
She looks at her own hair, just long enough to maybe reach her shoulders if it didn't curl in at the bottom. Reddish brown, the color of sandstone.
"Is it nice having long hair? Mine gets all weird if it grows past here..."
"Umm...thank you," she says with a self-conscious smile.
"I've always had long hair, so I'm not really sure. I don't really have a basis for comparison. I think it's nice. You can do lots of stuff with it. But you also have to take care not to let it get stuff on it. I'm not much of a morning person, so when I was little I had the worst habit of falling asleep over my breakfast, and I almost always ended up accidentally dipping my hair in the hot paraffin. Of course back then I just saw it as a handy way to carry a snack around with me," she said with a shrug and a grin.| Adon Derro |

adon's manic smile shows through again, shifting Into a stance to block any assault Sadie would press on him. His dark aura around his arms is faintly visible.
"Don't hold back. Hit me if you can- better they see real tequiques then staged ones."| Kedikai |
"Just this kind of stuff." She replies, moving her hand in circles above the little water filled hole, causing a tiny whirlpool to form.
"Hmm..." Kedikai says, thinking. "You know I too like the water and sailing, I wonder if we can find some place around here to do that."

He thinks about it for a sec or three...
"Alright. Can we use the teleporter to bring those others back?"| Lim-Môr Azair'vialys |
As soon as the class ends, Lim-Môr is quickly packed up and walking to his next.
| Romulus Wright |
"Sir, if you disregard the anticondonation of this action, the next most preferable option is to closely watch the actions of the untested medical robot."
Romulus gives you a long look... I...I've never had a problem with my workers before... but I guess I should.. he almost seems embarrassed that he ignored you earlier...

As ananda goes to leave Arthur offers his own help with the case but when she states that she is just getting more information he nods in acceptance and sits back down.
When melody begins talking he responds with a chuckle, saying "well at least I can say that there's never a dull day with you around"

Mel give a little chuckle, That's for sure. So, tell me, do you think there is a chance that we could have collected some biological data off of our culprit? I'm kind of banking on the nanites having some sort of Hive mind so all information is shared. If my theory is correct, we might be able to extract a DNA code which will identify the villain, and maybe some weaknesses

"Yeah, let's go see."
"If it's not in the garden what's a Taco Bell?" She asks as she spreads the water over the grass and fills the hole in before standing up.

"A restaurant that serves as a rite of passage where I come from. The ritual starts with delicious volcano tacos and ends with crippling, life threatening diarrhea." Kedikai informs her. "It's part of my training to try and survive extreme circumstances like eating there, similar to how some martial artists push boulders up mountain tops in the dead of winter."
| Jacob Forgehand |
As the group wanders through the building, Jacob looks around in wonder and awe. Then, when they reach the office, his eyes seem to become crystal-clear gems with jet for pupils, and he stumbles back, jaw hanging wide open.
"U-u-um, Missus del Sol? W-why-why is there waves of color everywhere?" He shields his eyes as if looking into a bright sun.
Basically, right now he can see all psionics and magic, even if they're cloaked or minuscule. He doesn't know what it is, or what to do with it, so conceivably he'd be almost blinded by all of the ambient magic/psionics.
| Shoshin the Fox |
"Isn't that what I just said?"
He raises an eyebrow and tilts his head ever so slightly to the side.
"Yeah, but aside from a few illusions and my natural shapeshifting, I can't do much as far demonstrations go" he claps his hands behind his head as he walks, "besides, no offense, but most my illusions are the variety that kill, so a demonstration here would be big no-no"

Kim takes another step away from Jacob, she pauses to look at herself, I don't see any colors? Am I alright? do I need to see a doctor?
She starts to panic and her teddy starts to glow a little.

Jacob shakes his head. "I'm-I'm sorry. It's nothing to be scared of. It happens often, but..." The boy sighs. "Never so intensely. It's like... seeing the universe peeled back before your eyes, understanding the flow of life and the invisible energies that surround it. It's both wonderful and terrifying." Slowly, Jacob's eyes begin cycling again.
"There. See? Nothing to be afraid of. It happens relatively often." He gives a tremulous smile.
Jacob is obviously extremely intelligent and eloquent for a boy of say, thirteen years.

"Very little of my magic harms, let alone kills. I've not killed anyone yet, and I'd like it to stay that way."
He says.
"Allow me to show you one of my favorites."
He closes his eyes and makes a conducting motion with one hand while he hums the F arpeggio.
Nothing seems to happen at first, but there's a faint thumping. A corner up ahead has a large shadow for a moment, then it's owner rounds the corner. A massive, green scaled dragon rounds the corner, sniffing the air. It spots Shoshin and roars, fire pouring from its mouth. It charges for him, the ground shaking with its galloping steps.
Just before its massive, pointed jaws reach up to snap him away, it turns into a mass of rainbow colored fog that envolepes him and rolls past and dissapates, leaving him unharmed.
"Hm?"
He says, having stood with his arms crossed watching.
The other patrons of the hallway don't seem to have seen the scaled behemoth.

"You have to be able to focus on very many aspects at once. Smell, vision, sound, tactile. It's something I have picked up as a solo stage artist. You have to sing, dance, play instruments, keep up with the effects and lights... multi tasking is a specialty of mine. So, once you have that down, you let their mind fill in the blanks. Not easy to fool someone that knows their stuff, though. Green dragons don't breath fire, that is. But, when it's charging at you, most people don't consider that."
They keep walking a distance, before the arrows lead Shoshin around the corner the dragon came from.
As he turns the corner, he bumps into a solid wall.
The hallway falls into the same rainbow smoke the dragon turned into.
"Lesson two, use a spell to it's full usefulness."
He grins.
