My local gaming store carries quite a few customers at pfs night that are mad because they can't worship the horsemen in PFS. I had no reason to think this wasn't true, until I came across the inner sea world guide, which had a table for the horsemen. The additional resources says "Gods: All gods listed in the tables on pages 229, 231, and 234 are legal for play;". Page 234 contains the horsmen chart. Was there a blog post about this I don't know about?
I'm looking for a Paizo god that has at least 2 of these domains, and has its favored weapon to be one of the following:
And a rule question: Is a warpriest's sacred weapon damage determined by his size, or his weapon's size? (Example: would a dagger meant for a medium creature weilded by a gnome deal 1d4 or 1d6 damage?)
So I run a roll20 campaign that allows players to make max level characters and fight high teir monsters. Needless to say, the tarrasque is in a Gem owned by a wizard. I want this to be a fun experience for everyone, and that is NOT winning in 2 seconds. I'd like to know some spells and any other thing overpowered like Trap the Soul.
Last Sunday I tried out a druid technique. I was wearing a pair of boots of the cat, while I wildshaped into a raven. I flew up 100 feet into the air, and turned into a dire ape, smushing the person below. The GM said it deals 1d6 per 10 feet, even though the rules say 4d6 per 10 feet for a falling object (A creature qualifies as a falling object, which has been proven in a couple of scenarios before. Bad goblin snipers ring a bell?). He said the reason behind this is that I'm wearing the boots of the cat so I fall lightly, which is not only flavor text, but not even mentioned in the boots of the cat.
Boots of the Cat:
Boots of the Cat
Price 1,000 gp; Aura faint transmutation; CL 1st; Weight 1 lb. These high-soled blue boots provide a great deal of comfort and arch support while also making the wearer appear a little bit taller than normal. The boot's wearer always takes the minimum possible damage from falls (as if the GM had rolled a 1 on each die of damage incurred by the fall) and at the end of a fall always lands on his feet. Later on, he didn't even allow me to use it when I wanted to do it again. Would he be right, saying the enemy barely takes any damage?
Racer Walrus: The 60 foot base speed walrus. How? Here's how:
So, in thornkeep accursed halls, my level 1 was hit by the wight and the gm imediatlley killed me. He said that there is 'no save' for a wight's negative level. I checked the bestiary and it says there's a save (A pretty low one, as a matter of fact). How do I handle this? Should I talk to the gm? And what would even happen? Is my character still dead? This is very frustrating. Please help.
So, let's say I want to take the baloney master prestige class, which only has a requirment of 5 skill ranks in craft (Baloney). If i've put a rank every level in craft (Baloney), does that mean at 5th level, I can take a level in baloney master, putting in my final rank, or do I have to be 6th level to dip in the baloney?
So, in the Player Companion, "Advanced Class Origins", it mentions 2 things that apparently, are legal for play. Red Mantis Assassins, and Killing Helpless people. The Arcanist archetype "Twilight Sage" Eats people's energy rather than spells.
Twilight Sage:
So, does this mean I can just go around casting sleep on people then eating their childhood memories? I mean, I'd ASSUME that eating someone is illegal in play, considering all cannibal traits are illegal (Except Soul Drinker)...

Furthermore, the Warpriest Archetype "Mantis Zealot" allows people to play as Red Mantis assassins. I thought we hated those guys. This just doesn't make any sense that these would be legal for play. Can someone explain this to me? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to play a Red Mantis assassin or eat memories of grandma's cookies, but I just want to make sure paizo's not gonna be like "Oh yeah, remove those." when I just finish making my character...
So I've been working up a few concepts for a character that's either cage or rita (Before she lost her powers). I've narrowed it down to a few classes:
So, we were trying to save someone who was kidnapped, right? My Hellknight Spirit is a spirit of anger, and therefore is prone to kill first tactics. While everyone else was busy fighting some wolves on our way to the shop of the lady who was in charge of the kidnapping (We had evidence), my spirit just phase lurches in and smacks her silly with his earthbreaker. Apparently, the plan wsa to just let the person go, which is completely morally wrong. A venture liutenet specifically told the players they're allowed to attack my spirit if he kept attacking her. In the end, they ended making tea for her... I love the spiritulist, but a few things I'd like to see:
With Halloween coming up, I thought it'd be fun to make a list of Spooky (But not horrific) monsters that you can use for any scary halloween scenarios you plan on running for your table!
To submit a monster, please say the name AND the CR.
So I'm making a campaign that feature the biggest, baddest creatures in the world. I'm talking mountain size. I was thinking about putting the boss into the map, like tentacles coming off the side of the map and stuff, or the bosses head on the map and the players are ontop a tower or a bridge. I wanted to know if this has been done before, and how you would go about doing it.
Alright, so in 5-99, one of my party members was lucky enough to land a natural 20 on a knowledge check against the flesh oozes. He picked a helpful information advice, and learned about their growth ability. The character shared the information, meaning my character would know that information. In 6-02, I encountered them again, as the same character. However, the GM would not let me share the information, DESPITE the fact that I have the chronicle sheet 5-99. A fellow player even supported my claim that you fight flesh oozes in that scenario. The GM allowed my character to recall all past events in scenarios EXCEPT that one. Is that allowed? |
